The motor/ESC on these little trucks gets ridiculously hot on 3S, so I made a dual 30mm fan duct with swappable scale top grills and built-in LEDs. The sealed compartment is great to keep mud out but it retains heat like crazy. I Did some bench testing and it completely stopped the thermal cutouts. Plus the rear vent glow at dusk looks pretty cool. What do you guys think?

Seems that I managed to setup suspension (it got almost the same as was in stock mode 🤣)

Do you use any cones with your models?

I just bought it and the whole story got more interesting.

Are there any tips on setup shocks / gyro etc for asphalt riding?

Initially I thought the lower - the better but not. It turned out that suspension actually helps with turns.

It's quite heavy to carry it in my hands,so there's my way to carry it around.

It's a standard cart, shoe tray and luggage straps.

Hit 53mph on grass yesterday, might have gotten a little more but it was still pulling wheelies.

I've had it de-tire itself a few times.

This thing just absorbs beatings.

BTW the 15mm spacers just keeps it on its feet a touch more. You can see the rest of the hub still attached..

I found this double ESC 30A. It has 2 battery connectors, why? One battery for each motor?

I just rebuilt the diffs on my traxxas rustler 4x4 vxl and I noticed that, when turhing them by hand, they felt slightly notchy. They don't get caught at all and I can't hear anything. It's doesn't feel too bad but i just wanted to check if it's normal. I've treid loosing in the screws and that doesn't fix it. I'm using 50k diff fluid.

I bought a INJORA 25T Aluminum Servo Saver with Servo for ARRMA GROM but the servo horn won't stay on i tried to use the stock screw on it and the new one the servo came with. At the end of the video are the rest of the parts the servo came with. Could someone help please it also came with no instructions

I recently got a spectrum 3s lipo and some rocks got kicked inside the battery. It got in thru the gap between the wires and hard shell case. I got them out but idk if I should still use it. It charged fine and everything but I’m paranoid. Do I have to just trash this battery and get a new one?

hi! i am starting my journey with the Rc world!
probably in the worst way possible!
i have a 3D printer, and a old little RC helicopter, and i am trying to turn it in to a car by ripping out all of the elettronic parts and rearranging them in a 3D printed chassis.
i am facing various challenges, but there is only one thing that makes me wonder if i can pull this amazing feat off;
i don't have the slightest idea on how to make the thing steer.
i have been thinking about using the little motor in the back of the helicopter used to make it tilt forward or backward an use it to steer the car, but then i wouldn't be able to turn with any degree of precision, or maybe simply solder a servo in the place where the little motor is currently placed.
is it possible to do any of the two option i mentioned in this post?
or i am completely coocked?

Something Traxxas obviously. I got it as a gift from my uncle and haven't messed with it. There's random loose wires and bolts missing and all 4 tires have bad ball joints or whatever the RC equivalent is. And some sort of mods going on. idk RC much at all. Just asking what's there, what's missing, anything. so thanks in advance

I drive it alot . I locked the rear diff with superglue and sugar yestaeday and filled shocks with wd40.
