Having issues with display for my wii, hopefully someone can help.

Ive used my wii on my flat-screen for years but for some reason today it stopped working, i switched over to my crt tv and the wii works fine. Everything is plugged up just fine and i tried doing some power cycles and resolution resets but im either not doing it correct or something else is wrong. Any help is appreciated

Ive had this issue with new things that have this gunk on the pins. I bought a cyberpunk cart NEW from target and it sometime wouldnt read. I look at it and theres this (almost like hardened glue) gunk that i scratched with my fingernail. Works fine now. Then i buy a NEW sdcard and once in a while a game would constantly crash (software closed due to an error) forcing me to re-download... same thing.. I pull out the card n theres this clear hard gunk stuck to one of the pins. What the hell is this stuff? Is it that common? 1 time is an anomaly, twice is the beginning of a pattern. Anyone else have this? Or at least know what it is? 1178-5678

So when I tilt the stick either up right up left down right or down left it tries to recenter itself any way to fix this

Hi, I recently purchased a Wii U console off of EBay. When it arrived the A and Y buttons didn’t work. They press down like normal but they don’t work. Is there anything I can do, because I do not want to fix it myself lol. Is it worth it sending it to a shop? Any responses help!! 🙏

Unsure if I've worded that title correctly but basically I have an original Nintendo switch that is always plugged in the dock. I'll be honest I don't use it very often but today I went to take it out the dock and it felt warm but was turned off and normally it just stays on sleep mode and I'm sure I didn't turn it off when I last used it. I turned it on and it seems ok but I'm leaving out the dock on sleep mode and I've let it cool. But I'm wondering could it have overheated or turned its self off so it wouldn't over heat. Im now thinking I should not leave it docked seeing I don't use it very often. The dock and adaptor felt warm too and I've unplugged those to let them cool as well. I'm just hoping the console isn't broken

And i need to fix it i have done the audio settings and restarted the console the problem is thos two reasons, and i'll try to get store that has experience with ribbon cables and games

My family has three switch 1s, but is thinking of getting a switch 2 to share. Is it possible to transfer user profiles on each of the old switches to the new one?

I've recently had a disappointing experience with Nintendo support, and I'm not sure what to do about it. Any advice is helpful. tl;dr at the bottom.

So, my launch day Switch 1 and Splatoon OLED Switch both had issues at roughly the same time. For the launch day switch, the drift in one joy con had once again gotten bad enough that it was unusable. At around the same time, my OLED switch stopped recognizing when any left joy con was attached, meaning I could no longer play in handheld mode. Two unrelated issues, but I contacted support about them at the same time. Went through troubleshooting on both and they determined I needed to send in the gray joy con for drift service (covered, cool), and the Splatoon system and its left (purple) joy con and they would service it for ~$135 as it was out of warranty. Steep, but I packaged them up and shipped them off.

A few weeks later, I got the gray joy con back. Still drifting. :( Whatever, I guess I'll just send it back again. But then a week or so after that, I got my other package from Nintendo... with just the Splatoon OLED console, no purple joy con. I definitely packed it up together in the same box and documented it in my note I included with serial # and everything. But when I contacted Nintendo support again, they accused me of forgetting to include it, even though their service note they sent back mentioned it. They made me track down the shipped weight of the box to confirm that it was indeed included. After speaking with several support reps and elevating to a supervisor, they said they would look into it. An hour or so later, I got an email that they would be sending me a replacement joy con. But when I received the package, it was a generic purple one, not my Splatoon special edition purple graffiti joy con.

The most annoying part? There was nothing wrong with the purple Splatoon joy con, as we proved in troubleshooting. It worked when attached to my old switch, and no other left joy con would work with the OLED switch; the problem was with the OLED console itself. But multiple reps said I needed to send it in with the system anyway, so I did.

I've already spent hours on this, and their customer service has said this case is now closed. I'm disappointed and dissatisfied. Any advice from those who've had support challenges with Nintendo?

tl;dr: Two support issues in a row, sent both into Nintendo for repair. Problem one came back un-fixed. Problem two was fixed but they lost my joy con, accused me of not sending it, then sent me a generic replacement joy con to replace my lost special edition joy con.

Hey all! I need some support in a purchase. I want to know the usability of a Switch 1 today.

I ask because it is the cheapest handheld console I can find. I dont need 4k level graphics for a console, I have a PC for that. I just want a modest handheld I can hold in bed that isnt my phone. How does the Switch 1 work for this? What are your experiences? Thanks in advance!

The left Joy stick started making These clicks when i move to right or down,It dosent make these mechanical like clicks when i move to up or left,does anyone knows what is causing this And should i worry about them? Btw It Works perfectly no drift and my switch lite is 4 years OLD.

Hi! I made a reddit account specifically for this question because i haven't gotten any help with the searching I've already been doing. The switch 2 i just opened will not connect with my switch 1 while trying to transfer data with the switch 1. The switch 1 can detect the adapter but the switch 2 isn't, no matter what I do. I don't know if I'm missing something important, but whenever i click next on the switch 2 while they are both connected the it'll still ask me to connect an AC adapter. I'm also using the official Nintendo adapter that comes with the switch 2, so i'm clueless.

I am newer to retro gaming and GameCube games. I just bought Mario Sunshine, but once I got home and opened the box I noticed many scratches and black gunk in the inner circle? Should I return it and get my money back?

I have been happy with my switch 2 for a year, but I dont know It happen, but my account was stolen! Not only getting all my info, also they link It to this consolé named "Haxorus" which its not mine and they have all my virtual card games! What could I do? my switch 2 has stopped charging i have changed cables blocks and many things it all ways charges for a second then stops then says ”cant charge“ after that it stops unless i plug it in again any advice on how to fix it ?

Picked up a micro for a sweet deal over the weekend. The previous owner said it was broken, but after a simple battery replacement…it works!

The power switch clicks on and off just fine, but while booted up, if the switch is bumped or moved in any way..the console will sometimes restart.

Is there a way to strengthen it? Vaguely remember my last micro doing this, too, but it’s been over a decade…can’t remember if it was this bad or not

hello! I asked my mom for a switch 2 since my birthday is in less than 2 weeks, I told her I'd be okay with an used switch 2 from fb marketplace. I wanted a nintendo switch when it first came out and was popular, however never gave it much thought ever again. now I found out about tomodachi life and it became an impulsive thought for me to buy one, and seemed like a good opportunity due to my birthday. I played tomodachi through an application on a laptop, however the graphics, lag, audio, etc were Horrid. my friend said she wanted a switch lite, however I think that it's too small for me. an used switch on fb marketplace is 150-200+ eur, and a new one is 400 eur. is it a good deal? is there anything I should know about different switches? any game recommendations besides tomodach

Hi everyone, I am looking for a cheap game to play while I am away from home for a few days, and was considering buying cult of the lamb: Woolhaven edition since it is roughly the same price as just the game at the moment (£23.75). I've played about 10 hours of cult of the lamb on my pc and have enjoyed it, but is it worth it for switch? (I am on switch 2) I've heard mixed reviews about the performance and bugs on switch especially with Woolhaven, so was just curious if this is worth it? Thanks everyone! 🙂

The email account associated with my Nintendo account cannot be logged into, it's a 20 year old Hotmail that's inaccessible, backed up to another old dead Hotmail account. I have a few purchases attached to it, but I don't want to buy any new games on that account in case Nintendo turns on TFA I'd be locked out.

I tried using my phone # to bypass TFA with no luck.

I want to make a new account and transfer the purchases from the old account and save files would be great too.

My friend gave me this controller and says it's first party and it won't connect to my switch and idk what to do. I tried going to settings and syncing it and it won't work.
