So update 7.3 has been out for a few hours and one of the biggest disappointments in this update was that they made ascending characters a whole lot harder and more expensive. Previously you just needed 1 Ascension card per fusion so you just need 5 Ascension cards to reach Ascension 5 but now that is no longer the case. Attached above is the amount of Ascension cards needed to take your character from Base Fusion X to Ascension 10. Now you need 9 Ascension cards to get to Ascension 5 which is 4 whole Ascension cards more and in order to get to Ascension 5 to Ascension X you need 19 ASCENSION CARDS!! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!!? WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!? I can understand increasing the amount of ascension cards starting at Fusion V but you would also increase the amount needed starting at Ascension 2? To now get a character from Base Fusion X to Ascension X, you'll need a whopping 28 Ascension Cards which is 2800 DK. This is equivalent to about 5 Kombat Passes with Premium purchased. This is absolutely insane and MUST be fixed.

Solution: First revert back to needing only 1 Ascension card per fusion starting from FX to A5 but after A5 increase the amount needed 1 every 2 levels. This is much more fair in my opinion and worth the cost of having to unlock the 4th Gear and able to perform friendships. Right now, having to spend 1900 DK to get a gold character to FX Ascension is not worth it, especially when those DK could be used elsewhere in more important categories such as tower summon packs or collector's kasket.

Before the update these dead ends would give you a tombstone or chest , with a high chance of them being purple. I got a single purple chest and one purple tombstone during a whole khaotic krypt run. This is not normal.

Krypt nerf?

As someone who hasn’t needed gold fusion ups in a long time (besides new golds), I don’t recommend doing this at all. Maybe a few fusions on one character per update, but not for all of them.

The first full MK2 Movie team should be quite fun to play with the release of MK2 Movie Scorpion. Buffing Kitana w team basic block breaker is a huge advantage.

But, please, why - rewrite the passive and effectively promote your newest characters. WTF is that even something to discuss - and it’s them - not me - they’re the ones saying - we’ll rewrite the passive “in the future.” Why? Just do it now and promote it.

Well I was hoping to take my Freddy to FX …

For context, I got back into the game like a week ago, lol. So many new things! How is everyone's luck with the 20 equipment special pack (assuming u got it).

* The Nightmare Tower joins the Klassic and White Lotus Towers (+ Time) as towers where I can no longer acquire any more copies. It takes the place of the sad Vought and HellsPawn Towers, both of which were one copy away.

* Unlike many, the last thing I got was the jacket

* With "all" the information about the next update, everything seems to indicate that nothing worthwhile is going to change, so farming will remain just as simple.

* I thought I could get all the Epic Towers from FX in 4 years. Do you think I can? If the Krypt numbers hadn't failed me, the answer would be yes; right now it's very tight.

So I’m nearly close to getting fx on this equipment, just wanted to ask for anyone who has already maxed out this card.
How good is it on sindel in general? I’m looking to replace spawn and pair up sindel with Homelander and frost.

Good to know that SRT and Sorcerer's are coming back (sadly no rework for the Sorcere's Tower), as well as Tower of Time.

A big surprise are ANOTHER 2 Krypt sets, even thou not so OP compared to THAT ONE Baraka's epic.

1). It was somehow obvious that all the S1 Ascendables won't be available for the S2 Ascension from the get-go, so I'm not really surprised about that;

2). Total miss;

3). Well, token costs 100DK as before, but:

FX to FXV -> 5 tokens -> 500 DKs

FXV to FXX -> 19 tokens -> 1900 DKs

So instead of increasing the price of single one, Devs just have decided to create an inflation (real-life simulator).

How is the update for you so far? Did you get the new diamonds/gear? What is your view on the new Stage 2 Ascension and it's price - are all Stage 1 Ascendables worthy of it?
