If humanity was meant to create something unforgettable, Mortal Kombat is definitely on the list. A classic gaming meme celebrating one of the most iconic fighting franchises ever made.

For some summer fun, I decided to go through my favorite Fatalities from the NRS Mortal Kombat games. To decide who to perform them on, I spun a wheel with all of the playable characters shared across the four main NRS Mortal Kombat games (there were fewer than I was expecting) and got Kitana, my favorite character in the series. Still, sorry to any Kitana fans!

Yesterday's Fatality was Rain's Does It Sting? from MK9

I've never been the biggest fan of how Raiden's Fatalities tend to just use his lighting power to blow people up or sever limbs. I feel like that's kind of lame and uninteresting, and while he does blow the loser's legs off in this Fatality, I like how he uses his staff as a central part of it. Ramming it down their throat and pinning them to the ground looks and sounds painful, and I like how he uses it with his lightning powers to fry the loser with the X-ray effect being a neat touch. Also, I just think it's funny how the loser is just left smoking afterward.

I never seen it before; it’s not on the move list, I can’t find anything online; what’s going on?

I'm aware it's never gonna happen at this point, but I've been mulling it over for a long time. The time is long overdue for a solo Scorpion game. If Jax & Sub-Zero can get a standalone game, then there's no reason for the mascot of the franchise to not have one.

I imagine this could play like the Shadow of War series. Imagine going through Earthrealm as a recently revived Hanzo Hasashi. Going through the game you can unlock equipment & cosmetics & costumes & upgrade abilitieslike his teleportation. We can even make it to where you can choose to embrace revenge & serve by Quan Chi in the Netherrealm, or become one of Raiden's champions.

There's LOADS of potential for a Scorpion game. That's just my thoughts on it, but what do you guys think? Who do you think should have a solo game at this point? How would you pull it off?

I fused Tanya's design with MK1 and Deception and some aspects from MKX.

We absolutely need a crossover game (OR movie) between Mortal Kombat & its arcade rival Street Fighter!

Another edit i had long since worked on, its sektor and cyrax AKA ketchup and Mustard throughout all of MK. i also added the remaining counterparts for each of the older games since obviously they wouldn't have fitted on the collage. also added the human versions of the MK9 counterparts. hope you like this edit (nervous) 😬

Anybody got any tips to improve for playing online? Especially in not panicking etc. Does it just come with time playing the game?

Honestly, one of the best things about the mk community is how talented everyone is.

If it's visual artists, we got amazing and talented ones.

If it's music, we have all sorts of catchy songs (shout out for the brazilians on this one lol).

And the cosplayers? All of them are gorgeous.

The community that was built around this franchise, excluding a few obviously, is so full of talented and smart people it becomes refresing to see.
