Easter Egg/Detail The Way Thor Charged Toward Doctor Doom Without Any Fear Instantly Reminded Me Why the Original Avengers Will Always Feel Special
The Avengers: Doomsday trailer was filled with incredible reveals, but the moment that stayed with me the most was Thor charging straight toward Doctor Doom without a second of hesitation. It instantly reminded me of the Thor we've watched grow since 2011 a warrior who has stood against Loki, Hela, Thanos, Gorr, and countless impossible enemies, yet never once backed down from a fight.
What made this scene even more powerful wasn't just Thor's courage, but Doctor Doom's calm and fearless presence. Neither of them looked like they were going to take a step back, and for a few seconds, it felt like I was watching the beginning of another legendary MCU rivalry.
More than anything, this moment brought back the same feeling I had during the original Avengers era - when every battle carried years of history and every hero felt larger than life. If Marvel can capture that emotion throughout Avengers: Doomsday, we might be witnessing the start of another unforgettable chapter in the MCU.

Easter Egg/Detail The Fantastic Four did, in fact, chart in the '60s
This is an ignore-me-if-it's-been-said-before kinda post, but when in Multiverse of Mandess Doctor Strange quips about the Fantastic Four charting in the '60s, yes, they did. That wasn't just a toss-away line.
The Fantastic Four recorded first for Ric-Tic Records, then Motown, among others. They hit the Billboard R&B Top Ten in 1967 with "The Whole World is a Stage."
The MCU Strange wasn't just poking fun at the superhero FF's name; this was a long-distance callback to his pet fascination with pop music. I've been meaning to share this for years but just got around it to now.
At the very least, this is your chance to pause and listen to a pretty good soulful groove.

Easter Egg/Detail I Didn't Realize How Much I Truly Missed Shang-Chi Until His Return and That Unexpected Gambit Face-Off in the Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Reminded Me Why He's One of the MCU's Best New Heroes
The Avengers: Doomsday trailer was packed with huge reveals, returning legends, and incredible action, but somehow Shang-Chi's appearance ended up being one of the moments that stuck with me the most. It's been years since Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and I genuinely forgot how much I enjoyed his character until he finally showed up again.
What made it even better was seeing him go head-to-head with Gambit. Out of all the possible matchups Marvel could have teased, this wasn't one I ever expected, yet it instantly became one of the most exciting moments in the trailer. Their completely different fighting styles make this feel like one of the most unique battles in the film.
I really hope Doomsday gives Shang-Chi a major role instead of another brief appearance. After waiting this long to see him return, he deserves to be one of the movie's standout heroes.

Discussion How were the avengers supposed to fail at getting the tesseract?
In Endgame, when the avengers go back in time to 2012 New York to get the tesseract they end up leading to Loki's escape. Loki's escape was never supposed to happen, but because he escaped they had to go back in time again to get the tesseract from Camp Lehigh. This part of the story is very important, as Steve probably would not have gone back in time permanently to live with Peggy if he hadn't seen her there. Additionally, I think Tony might not have made his sacrifice if he hadn't just gotten closure with his father.
To me, this means the trip to Camp Lehigh was always meant to happen. The only thing they could be looking for there is the tesseract and pym particles, meaning they were always meant to go to new york with 1 shot to get the tesseract, and were always meant to fail (If they had more than one shot they could've gone anywhere else for the tesseract, and if they didn't fail at getting the tesseract there's no reason to go there).
We know that Loki is the one who committed crimes against the sacred timeline, because he was not supposed to escape. We also know Loki was fully aware that the avengers had time traveled from the future. So maybe him realizing that there were 2 tony starks was never meant to happen, and that's what created the branch that gets destroyed by the TVA.
So what was meant to happen? What other reason could have led tony and steve to go back to camp lehigh other than loki's escape?

Theory The Doomsday trailer barely scratched the surface: What we saw is strictly Act 1.
Am I the only one who feels like Marvel is hiding almost the entire movie?
My theory is that everything shown in the teaser/trailer belongs almost entirely to Act 1.
That clash between Doctor Doom and Thor isn't anywhere near a climax—it feels like the end of Act 1/ start of Act 2 that sets the real story in motion.
Considering they basically reused the same footage shown months ago at CinemaCon, it's clear Marvel is keeping Acts 2 and 3 under absolute lock and key, much like the misdirection they pulled during the marketing for Infinity War.
Do you think Trailer 2 is going to be way more massive and finally reveal the true scale of the movie, or will they keep hiding everything until release?

Question Infinity War often called on of best comic-book movie, despite completly changing Thanos character and motivation, even tho he considered to be one of most iconic Marvel villians. Why changing Doom backstory for Doomsday seems so negative?

Easter Egg/Detail A few parallel shots/moments I noticed in the Doomsday trailer
Some interesting moments in the Doomsday trailer that mirror scenes from Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Some of these might just be a coincidence, but I still thought it would be fun to compare.

Discussion Mid Take? Channing Tatum's Gambit is perfectly fine
Recently I've been seeing sooo much hate on Channing Tatum's Gambit. The main criticisms I've seen are that he's too "big," non-comic-accurate eyes, bad hair, and the accent. As someone who hasn't read the comics and holds no attachment to Gambit's comic look, I just wanted to give my thoughts, because a lot of the criticism I've seen is kinda dumb.
First, yeah his build may not be entirely accurate to the comics, but DAMN people have been hella hating on Channing Tatum. It gets to a point where they are calling him fat. Though I do understand there is a difference between "bulky" and "fat," but I've seen many comments of people straight up calling him too fat. A lot of people just seem upset that he's not "twinky," and that seems more like a personal gripe than an actual valid criticism. And in any case, I've heard rumors (not sure if it's confirmed) that Tatum said he'd slim down for his role in Doomsday.
I also don't think comic accuracy is ever a great argument when it comes to the MCU. I do admit Gambit's comic eyes are cool, and I could see Marvel including them in Doomsday when Gambit will be a more serious character.
And lastly the accent. I thought it was common knowledge that Gambit's accent was exaggerated for jokes in D&W, but it seems like many are still unaware of that? Deadpool literally made a joke asking who Gambit's dialogue coach was. Tatum confirmed that he'd tone down the accent in Doomsday to be more serious and more comprehensible.
But of course, this is all my opinion on what I've seen. I'd like to know others' thoughts, especially people who know Gambit's comic version better, if anyone has valid criticisms of Channing Tatum's Gambit.
