This is our LEGO universe, where we simulate the real world. It is home to almost 400 LEGO figures.
The world consists of six independent countries. Each country has its own capital, government, and military.

There is one shared currency called LEGO Money. Since there’s money, there are also businesses and companies. We have car repair shops, restaurants, retail stores, trucking companies, and many other types of businesses.

We’ve tried to recreate almost every aspect of real life—even things like illegal drugs exist in our universe.

What are we missing? What else should we build or invent? We’d love to hear your ideas!

I found this one a little repetitive, with so much of the technique for the micro scale windows being repeated throughout, but I’m happy with the overall finished effect.

My 10 year older brother donated my favorite, but his old Lego castle to my 5 year old son.

A toy shop at a shopping mal near my house has the minifig blindbags displayed like this
it's my first time seeing a shop do this, as anyone seen anything similar
also the official Lego Store was outright on the same level as this toy store just a few units away

as for whether this will encourage or discourage scalpers I'm not really sure

what do you guys think of toy stores doing this, is it a good thing or a bad thing

I was about to run out to the lego store to grab this but then i saw there was an x-files set coming out very soon and both are right up my alley

Fifteen years after the original expedition, you will return to the ancient underwater city of Atlantis. In this build you will go on an expedition in your submarine to find the hidden treasure somewhere in this mysterious city. But watch out! Evil creatures are approaching quickly to guard the cities treasure. It is your job to reveal the hidden treasure and bring it home safely.

This build includes;

-two submarines

-one octopus

-one ancient temple

My annual Lego post from preview night. Lego this year had two life size walkthroughs and displays of current and upcoming Lego sets. They had a Star Wars side and a Pokemon side. Was only able to go through the Pokemon side, so there are more of that. If anyone wants close up pics of any of the sets outside the walkthrough I can post more in the comments.

This little beauty took us a little while to make, the first attempt had to be dis-assembled as we were unsure where we went wrong. After we got stuck at the same place, there were a few house of frantic googling and we found two pieces looked very similar but were very different functionality (it’s all about the angle of the bend!).

I wish I had taken more photos but for some reason I didn’t. Here is the pod bay from the Discovery One from 2001 A Space Odyssey. Perhaps I’ll find more photos to post. I build three pods that opened to the outside and the pod bay doors opened when the pod was pushed out the doors.

It took me months but I'm really happy with how they all turned out! The torsos, legs and heads are Lego pieces with UV printed details. The hair/mask pieces are 3d printed, painted with Army Painter miniature paints, then sealed with UV gel nail polish.

The most difficult part for me was painting the masks that aren't just solid colors. I simplified the designs of them because I just couldn't paint those tiny details. If I were to make them again I think I'd try to paint them with the base color and then use UV printing for the details.

There are a few things that aren't quite right. Ann and Futaba's gloves aren't the right color because I didn't have any minifigures for that on hand. I struggled to get Haru's feather to stay in place and put excessive amounts of nail polish on, masking the feathers details.

But I'm largely happy with this project! If anyone wants further details on how I made them, I'm happy to share.

Hi! I’m Sam. Since our local LCS (LEGO Certified Store) in Taiwan didn't host this event, we couldn't get our hands on this cool GWP. I was so jealous when I saw North American fans sharing theirs, so I decided to source the parts and build one myself!😁

I know every participant built a unique tower during the event. So here is my version!
I added a functional rock-style door panel at the back and built a spiked protective roof on the top deck to block incoming arrows.
I really envy the countries that got to host this event—it looked like so much fun!!
