im undergoing my internship at a firm and i just cant believe this will be how it is until we die. 8-5 shifts stretched out to damn near 12 hrs due to commute, 5 days a week, barely any time to do what you enjoy. is this how its going to be for the rest of our lives? if so this is so fucking bleak man.
before everyone spams "thats adult life, suck it up", that is my exact question. how does everyone just... exist like that?? i have nothing to look forward to, other than eagerly looking at my watch counting the hours till lunch break and 5pm, knowing that no matter how i rush, theres only a couple hours left for the day to play some games or watch a movie because i need to sleep early.
i know that when i graduate and get a career, the job will only get harder, and there will be more commitments as an adult. in other words, just when i thought things are bad, it WILL get a whole lot worse.
oh and i havent even got to the incel part. i feel so lonely. so fucking lonely. 23 years of my life and ive never had a romantic relationship. i have never felt the warmth and adoration of another human being before. im prolly idealizing too much, but every second of my existence i wish there is someone that genuinely desires and yearns for me. it feels like the only thing that might just keep me going and get me to wake up everyday. but due to being an introvert, idk how any of this works. idk how life works.
i cant stop thinking about how dreadful everything is. how do i keep going? soup noodles
