For example, I went for a run/walk at the Rez this morning and contemplating grabbing a pint or two at some point this afternoon. With Jackson not having that much going on socially, just seeing what is going on out there, maybe get some ideas for friend groups to join or something.

Pilates, there does seem to be classes locally. But any Calisthenics (I would be a beginner at both, and need to be in a class/group setting to progress)

Hi everyone, I recently took my car in for an alignment/rotation and was told they can’t do the rotation because my tires have dry rot. After a quick google search they’re correct since my tires are now almost 4 years old. So I’m looking to see what my options are for tires as far as local shops go.

I usually go Firestone but lately their service has went downhill. The dealership loves to upcharge so not a fan of that either. Any recommendations help! Thanks.

Hi y'all.

I have just moved interstate to work at UMMC. I will be here for at least 2 years. Currently staying in temporary accommodation in Ridgeland near East County Line.

I will be living alone. I considered carefully, but decided that options for accomodation and living generally will be better for me in Ridgeland or Flowood rather than Fondren or Belhaven (which have costlier complexes or less safe-looking options) and have checked out some apartment complexes. I like a couple in Flowood.

I have traveled to UMMC from where I stay currently, and it was only about 12 mins before 8am. I have read a lot that traveling from Flowood has worse traffic despite being closer. I will usually be traveling to UMMC around 0730 and return in the afternoon is variable but will be well before rush hour around half the time. I don't want a typical commute longer than 15-20 mins each way.

Other local things I am interested in are and would influence where I live/travel to/from:

- Pilates/reformer Pilates and would any suggestions on good classes that I might take twice a week

- Calisthenics classes

I would also be grateful if y'all can add advice about their experiences on commutes, apartment complexes in Ridgeland and Flowood and grocery shopping.
