For me it's a tiny success

This is a simple mobile app designed for the civil service recruitment exam in Türkiye, allowing users to make progress by solving just one question a day. My primary goal wasn't so much about learning exam material or solving questions; rather, it was to address the fact that people often lose touch with their exam preparation due to the hectic pace of daily life. After all, many candidates have already finished their formal education, and some are even working in the private sector. I felt that this daily hustle was setting them back in their preparation process. I developed this app as a solution to that problem, and it seems I’ve managed to capture people's interest.

Any with an iPhone 17 (standard, Pro, or Pro Max) to help me device test something on TestFlight?

Hi, I'm the developer of a camera app ContentCam which lets you film vertical and horizontal at the same time.

I'm currently dealing with an iPhone 17 series specific bug and I don't have an iPhone 17 to device test with :(

If anyone is willing to download a testflight version of the app and help me device test some stuff, I'd love to reward you with lifetime premium access :)

All I'd need from you is:

  • Flip to front camera, tell me if the orientations are correct (it's currently bugged sideways), and screenshot what's on-screen (you don't have to be in it, just need to see some logs that will help me debug).
  • Confirm the audio meter works during recording.
  • Spam a button and see if it breaks the UI or not.

I have an iPhone 16, happy to help others test/review their app in return :)

🚨Supporting New IOS App Developers🚨

Hey everyone, I’m an indie dev, and I know how brutal the launch phase is. My team and I are setting aside time this week to look at new apps. We’re looking for great UX and design. If we love what you’ve built, we’ll definitely be leaving a 5-star review!

Please share your app link and let us know what specific feedback you're looking for. We want to support developers who are putting in the work. Ai is more than welcomed.

How long for Apple to reply?

Hey everyone, I am working on getting my app PerkPulse on the app store, but was just rejected. The reasoning was that users should be able to delete their account after account creation. You can imagine my surprise at this reasoning since it's already a feature... Anyway, like the message Apple sent said, I replied to them with a screen recorded video of me deleting an account. Any idea how long it takes for them to see these messages and review again? Thank you in advance

Apple Nearby UWB ranging session goes suspended, but app is not in background

I have an app that supports ranging with multiple UWB devices concurrently.

when only one is active, the ranging session runs til I stop it..

when two or more are active, one stays active and the others are suspended.

the doc says 'could happen for other system reasons'... anyone have a clue how to debug this?

the Qorvo sample app doesn't have this problem with the same devices..

tested on iphone 15 Pro Max and 17 Pro Max. same device is suspended each time

I added private, on-device AI actions to my macOS clipboard manager

Hey everyone,

I’ve shared CopyBara here a couple of times, first as a tiny menu bar app that confirms when Command+C actually works, and later when I added Clipboard History.

The latest update is the biggest one so far: Smart Actions.

You can now select clips from your history and:

  • Extract useful information such as people, contact details, dates, deadlines, amounts, order numbers, tasks, decisions, and product specifications
  • Write a custom instruction to extract exactly what you need
  • Merge multiple clips in their original order
  • Join clips with custom separators
  • Remove duplicate content
  • Turn several clips into a summary, document, table, or checklist

The AI-powered actions use Apple Intelligence directly on your Mac. Your clipboard content is not sent to CopyBara’s servers or any third-party AI service.

Some Combine actions, such as merging clips, adding separators, and removing duplicates, also work without Apple Intelligence.

I’ve also redesigned the history workflow so you can select multiple clips and preview the result before copying it.

The original copy confirmation and basic features are still free. Smart Actions and Clipboard History are included in the optional Privacy Pro upgrade.

As a thank-you to Reddit, you can get Privacy Pro for $3 with the code:

REDDIT3

App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/tr/app/copybara-clipboard-manager/id6790114086?l=tr&mt=12

I’m still actively improving it, so I’d genuinely appreciate feedback—especially about which Smart Actions you find useful or what workflows you’d like me to add next.

Thanks!

Finally approved on iOS - Real privacy for the 'everyman'

Been a hell of a journey folks. Spent all my money, 1M+, never quite got what I was looking for from my devs. Ran out, everyone rolled and I get it, most were here for the money and not the ethos. But I doubled down on stupid. Kept at it, got it built, got it tuned into what I want to use, and got it approved. Its been one hell of a long ride...painful, shameful, doubting, all of that founder stuff. But its done. Apple and Android both gave the thumbs up, cross compatibility is flawless, and it is a privacy app that does not feel like one. From this moment, doesn't matter what else happens, I pulled it out of the death spiral and it is now alive and well and pulsing.

Sigea Storage - Available on the app stores, and sigeacloud.io for desktop.

It's a proud moment for me, wish I had someone to celebrate it with but the team is gone, still going to feel good about it for tonight.

Cheers folks!

Should I copyright or trademark my app name?

My app is a common tool so I can’t copyright the concept but is it worth copyrighting the name? Anything else I should consider before releasing?
