The plants are staying alive, but they are not growing at the rate they should. Some plants have stayed exactly the same from 8 years ago.
DO NOT WAIT FOR YOUR PLANT TO WILT SO YOU CAN WATER IT. That is good to measure how long your plant takes to run out of moisutre, but it is definitely exhausting your plant.

I can't believe I need to say this: WATER YOUR PLANTS. If one of your plants is not growing, its probably not getting water properly. Even if you add fertilizer, the plant will not absorb it from the soil if that darn thing is dry.
Doesnt help most of my plants live outdoors and in clay pots. So they dry out even faster.
Sorry guys I just realized I was stupid for 8 years so I want my 8 years stupidity to at least be productive and useful to someone. This is the first growing season I'm actually hydrating the poor things the way they should. Yes, don't overwater, but also underwatering is not good.

The original owner was my great grandmother. It was given by my great grandfather to her on her birthday. When my grandma passed, I took responsibility on taking care of it. I’ll try to find older pictures of the plant.

Just wanted to share a small corner of my already packed apartment of plants!

currently fostering this plant, it’s originally my flatmates but she gave up on it so now i’m seeing if i can revive it.
not actually sure what it is or what sort of light it needs? pretty sure it’s been having too much light but i’m not sure. since i’ve been looking after it it’s sprouted 3 new leaves but it still looks pretty sad.

I acquired a Chinese money plant a little over a week ago, and I want to repot her soon but I noticed she’s got some little baby money plants growing in there with her. Should I keep them all together when I repot, or should I separate the babies out into their own pots?

This prayer plant was given to me earlier this month and was starting to get dry tips immediately, i looked up a bunch care tips and now its getting a little flower!!! I didnt know they could get flowers??

Should I change out the moss or is it okay? Should I be using a different potting mix?
I only use distilled water in the reservoir so it absorbs from the bottom up.
The green ring is just something I 3D printed to help reduce evaporation from the water reservoir. Could that actually be to blame for the algae bloom somehow?

I just want to share these cuttings I bought from our local plant shop. Among my aroids, it's probably one of my favorites. They're just so pretty. I love that they're a bit "glittery" in the sun ✨
