The Canadian-American hip hop group consisting of Toronto-born DJs and producers, K-Cut and Sir Scratch, as well as New York City natives DJ J.O.D and Large Professor, released their debut studio album on July 23rd, 1991, via Wild Pitch Records.

The album has been widely regarded by writers and music critics as a significantly influential album and has been noted for debuting rapper Nasty Nas, who appears on the track "Live at the Barbeque".

The Philadelphia producer/DJ and rapper duo released their fourth studio album on July 23rd, 1991, via Jive Records.

It reached number 12 on the Billboard 200 charts and number 5 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

The second track on and lead single from the album, "Summertime", earned the duo a second Grammy Award for Best Single in early 1992.
