As the DJs get younger, theyre using songs from what the 90s and 2000s kids grew up on and turning them into hardstyle tracks, its so good its like nostalgia but make it harder 😈

I’ve spoken to other artists about this and often they express feelings of fear for being replaced by Ai.

I’m very curious, would you listen to Ai generated hardstyle music or not? And why?

Been trying to find some bangers recently I listen to hardstyle, hardcore, uptempo, etc. a recent fave is bring me up by revealer. thanks!

Hi all! After Defqon i suffered from a festival deficiency.

Now i have my eyes on Decibel. With all the Defqon sets being released on Youtube i am more and more amazed by the direction the sound is moving in and I WANT MORE!

But listening to Decibel sets i cant help but feel like its way less… progressive? Like Defqon had some great and complex sets (4444 of a kind, Hysta, Coone) and at Decibel it just feels like Dj’s replay their most popular tracks with little editing inbetween. Like it’s Hardstyle for when you are 20. Or for people who come from regular drinking and clubbing culture in NL.

No better place to get opinions than reddit so i am super curious to hear your personal experience with Decibel!

- None with Decibel, Defqon is a yearly pilgrimage (of 10 mins, i know, luxury position)

I never been to a hard style festival before - but i really love the music and consider it part of my personality. So I ended up looking for a festival last week online; and couldn’t find one. Then I ran into a poster on the way home in Eindhoven of Hardclassics 2026; which will take place this Saturday.

I checked the Spotify playlist and knew most of the songs on there already; and actually they’re amongst my favourite ones.

Do you think I can go there alone? And make friends on the way? I’ve done that multiple times going to e.g., liquicity. How is the hardstyle community?

So last weekend I went to Dominator, and also to Doris her set at the frenchcore stage on Saturday. Afterwards, our group went to her fanmeet, and there she recognised me as one of the dinosaurs from the video she did the day before, which led to some laughs with the group. Eventually, her tour manager came to me and asked: "you want a Doris Towel? You could post it on Reddit or something."

So yeah, here it is I guess. Dominator was fun :D

As the title says, what are in your opinion the livesets you attended (which were not classic sets or played mostly classics) that were the most danceable.

As most people say hardstyle these days isn't danceable anymore, show me your counterarguments:)

This will be my very first time traveling to the Netherlands for any big hardstyle event before and my partner and I ended up getting the Deluxe 2P package in the Luxury District because that's all that was left. I’d love to hear from anyone who has stayed in this area or used this package before. What is the overall experience and vibe actually like?

Jokes aside, is incredible how they managed to stay relevant after so many years, & still deliver banger after banger.
