I swear I can’t be the only person that’s noticed this. Almost every show I’ve seen announced online, ATLiens is almost always the direct support artist playing right before Excision. It’s honestly getting a little redundant. They’re great, they’re all talented. It’s just confusing. I noticed this first in the winter of 2024, and it just kept happening so I figured I’d start a discussion about it. This is in direct reference to the “HEX” event being announced in Arizona

I love older heavy brostep tracks but I feel like I have difficulty finding heavy dubstep playlists with newer tracks (the last 5 years) without running into a wall of riddim, which I don’t really love. Are there any playlists on Spotify that focus on the heavier dubstep sound without focusing so much on riddim?

recently got my rig sounding decent while running entirely on a raspberry pi microcontroller. This is recorded directly from the rpi, and uses no plugins or post-processing besides +12 dB and dithering.

i was huge into skream and kode9 and blackmill when i was a kid, but i kinda fell off dubstep in the early 10s. lately tho a rave friend's been getting me into a couple newer (or at least newer to me) producers and i'm coming back around on the genre. can anybody rec anything like effin, inzo, adventure club, newer jykl & hide, or newer san holo? real vibey, pretty sounding, "pop a xanax and nod your head on the couch" type stuff

I just commented on another post about artists that you used to love but no longer make music & I thought of K-NINE, an amazing producer with a sound that still holds up to this day but his last track was released in 2020, anyone know what happened to him??
