Got it setup, was on second pack having a blast and crashed on the bed. Wanted to see if turtle mode could get me free. Didn't know that if a prop was being stopped and try turtle mode that it could fry the ESC. Couldn't get it flipped over so I went and picked it up. Brought it downstairs and when I went to relaunch one motor wasn't working. I swapped the plugs with another motor and the issue travelled to that motor and then in betaflight manually tested the motor function, that motor still not spinning. Seems like I fried the ESC and thus effectively fried the entire AIO.

Extremely disappointed and to be honest a bit angry. Why the fuck is this shit so fragile? They can't make it a little harder to burn out the fucking thing?

Since the beta vr04 are out of stock im looking for an alternative in same price range, im not sure if i should get the vr03 for 86 usd.

This is going to be my first goggles and im planning to use them with an air 75 ii racing.

I saw Nils Van video about latency, and saw that the ev800d are worst in that aspect, and more expensive.

Do you recommend a better alternative??

I am looking to move away from DJI drones but would still like to use my DJI n3 goggles. I have a license and can go over 250grams when I am in the correct airspace.

Right now I am looking at the Flywoo Explorer LR 4 V2 O4 Wide.

I have zero issues with soldering and have a 3D printer capable of printing LW-ASA and TPU.

Am I looking at the right drone? or should i be looking at something else?

Hey, so I unpacked my new goku f722 pro v2 stack yesterday and soldered everything together, but I have two issues…

Here is a list of my material :

\- Frame : JeNo 5’1
\- Motors : T-motor Velox V2306 v2.0 (2400 kv)
\- Stack : Goku F722 Pro V2
\- Receiver : Radiomaster RP1
\- Radio : Radiomaster Pocket
\- VTX : DJI O4 Pro
\- Goggles : DJI N3

Problem 1 :

Basically, I had a SpeedyBee f404 and I flew a bit with it, successfully binding it to my goggles and showing the OSD with no trouble. But now that I changed this stack with the new goku, no matter the UART I am choosing, my goggles won’t show the OSD but only the native parameters it usually shows and the camera. I tried every UART there is, without changing the bound rate or nothing, and I did activate the VTX (MSP + DisplayPort) option on Betaflight every single time accordingly to the UART I activated.

Problem 2 :

As soon as I apply a little tiny bit of throttle, my motors decide to turn uncontrollably… The last time it happened on my SpeedyBee f404, I deactivated the Airmode and everything worked perfectly, but it didn’t work on this FC… I didn’t change any BLHELI settings, just configured on Betaflight for now. However the weird part is that when I control my motors from Betaflight, they act completely docile and follow the cursor perfectly… They only show an erratic behavior when controlled from my Radiomaster pocket which responds perfectly in Betaflight.

I’m kind of stuck so any help would be useful at this point 🙏 thx a lot.

Every time i punch throttle i get these lines. is there any way to stop them?

Today while flying quad disarmed for no reason. I don't even know how to describe what showed in blackbox, so here is screenshot. These short ARM OFF-ON (the quad didn't actually disarm during them) are for the whole flight, but one every 20 second, except for end and 20 seconds before real disarm. In the next flight after changing battery, issue was gone (so no short ARM OFF-ON). Can someone explain why did that happen?

Today I built a drone using the frame and motors from an Air 75 II Freestyle with a VTX O4 Lite. I also have 580 batteries, giving me a flight time of at least 4 to 6 minutes.I'm surprised how well this works. I don't have any jello. I'm in love with this little thing 😍

So my meteor75 o4 was good for almost 2 weeks but yesterday i started hearing a weird sound and now 1 motor is doing this… I don’t know it the sound is coming form this motor but it’s the only one working weird. The sound was present even without the tape (it’s a momentary thing for test). I could still fly but I’m pretty worried…

Now that the new Meteor Pro II series is out with the DJI O4 Wide, I'm trying to decide between the Meteor65 Pro II and the Meteor75 Pro II.

A bit of context:

• I already own larger drones so this would not be my main FPV quad.
• I don't race.
• I don't plan to do serious freestyle with it.
• I mainly want something that's simply fun to fly.

Typical use would be:

• indoors when the weather is bad (small flat, BTW);
• small gardens and parks with trees and obstacles;
• flying around benches, bushes and playground-type areas;
• very light outdoor cruising on calm days.

I have owned the Meteor 75 Pro and it was fun but the narrower FOV, specially flying indoor, wasn’t great Although maybe the 65 Pro won’t fly well outdoors so i want to poll your opinion if you’ve got the chance to flight them already

1. Is the 65 noticeably more fun in tight spaces?
2. Does the 75 feel too big indoors?
3. If you could only keep one as a "grab-and-go fun whoop", which would you choose and why?

I'm especially interested in opinions from people who have flown the new Pro II versions.

Only recently, I got back in FPV and brought back those from the attic, adapted my quad for tiny whoops lipos, changed my EV800 battery for a 18650 and started training flying in acro !

Recently got a RM pocket for training on simulator and just got an ImmersionRC Vortex 150 to tinker with

Hey, I am new to FPV and needs some advice on where to get batteries.

Has anyone in South Africa tried buying batteries from betafpv or Ali?

If you have, were there any problems getting it - with customs, shipping etc.

I know there are restrictions with air freight and I can’t find clear answers with regards to South African restrictions.

Any help/advice. I need batteries for my Air65II and can’t find anything locally.

Not much to show around in this, but just worried about this frame because every time I'm trying to tighten a screw, the driver hole gets stripped. Had to replace 2 screws till now, and I'm using an INGCO ratchet driver along with this battery operated one. Any alternatives? Is it because this frame is cheap?

I currently have 3 analog drones. I use the eachine DV800DM, the googles are pretty mid and have connection issues and the change between videofeeds of the diversity is so slow sometimes. I have been looking for new goggles, but im not sure what to get. Im considering the HDZero Pro Goggles, cause they have analog aswell as HDZero and I might get an HDZero Freestyle VTX but im not sure. DJI would probably be the best bet, but its kinda too expensive for me. Should I just stick to analog and buy some analog goggles with a better reciever? What can you guys recommend?

I was wondering if someone could help me get some satalites, i am aware that the gps should be away from carbon fiber frame, so i mounted it on top of the frame where therr are gaps in the frame. Also i have used thick doible sided tape in between thr gps and the frame.

Edit: i have managed to get 4-5 satalites but on the osd the satalite thing is flashing and not just on. Clause says this is because it still doesnt have a good 3d lock although in betaflight it is showing my location pretty accurate like 4 houses from where i actually live
