I recently rewatched The Lovely Bones and wondered what if... Harvey became a ghost after he died, and Susie stayed behind to watch over him. And years later, the boys stumble across them.
Or any other horror crossover; there are plenty of movies about ghosts, demons, and evil spirits. I haven't found any similar fics, but maybe there are?

In 10x02, when Dean cuts himself and watches the wound heal with Crowley in his head, "What are you, pick a bloody side", Dean, for a moment, plays a note on the piano. So the reason I think about this a lot is that Dean, in earlier seasons, always mocked Sam for being studious, knowing Spanish and Latin, and being better at research, etc. He also has some disdain for formal education, and in general, we have never seen him learn anything out of interest and passion, just to learn something. However, as Sam points out, Dean is extremely geeky about music, like he could host a pub quiz or even a university lecture on the history of classic rock, so I think it is a bit sad that he never learned to play an instrument. This is why this little moment, where Dean is arguably the most selfish version of himself, and he wants to sing (very horribly) and attempts to play the piano, is kinda interesting. I think that is a very small almost blink and you miss it example of Dean never doing things that aren't in some way useful. He cannot do anything just for himself; he cannot invest in himself. But maybe I am reaching, please share your thoughts

I am rewatching season 10, the beginning, where Crowley wants Dean to help him rule hell. I can imagine Dean without a purpose getting bored and like "Guess need something to do" but also getting fed up with Crowley and ending up killing him and taking his throne. I think it could align with Dean's (human Dean) sense of duty, as a demon he can rule hell, he can also keep the demons in check more or less continuing his mission of serving humanity in a way.
For Cas it has been hinted continuously that love/feeling corrupt angels. In season nine the angels want him to rule but he denies them. What if Cas accepts but with the immoral and corrupt intention of having access to the armies of heaven? Cas corruption could be even furthered if he keeps consuming graces or even does so after regaining his own to be more powerful.
Could someone maybe write or recommend something like that ?

Can anyone recommend some good **breakup** or post breakup destiel fanfics? Where they **fall apart** due to some reason and there's *angst and pain* before they **back together** maybe *insecurity* or *misunderstanding/miscommunication*.
I prefer the dynamic of *bottom dean top cas* but i wouldn't mind either way, if it's explicit or not, but i would love hurt/comfort!!
I WANT THEM TOGETHER THOUGH, PLEASE NO UNHAPPY FANFICS JUST ANGSTY

First one is where Jared has his hands damaged from an accident. Itās in livejournal
Second one is where Danielle gets Jensens friends to beat up Jared in Jensen and Jaredās house because they are all jealous of Jared. Jensen finds out and almost beats the crap out of them. Especially Danielle for setting it up

Hello! Iāve always had a soft spot for Michael!Dean (Michael possessing Dean) fics and would love to check out some recommendations! Prefer Gen fics. I especially liked the season 14 flavor of Alternate Michael angst, but definitely open to season 5ish Michael too! Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for good fic that explores Adam and Michael's relationship.
Bonus point of it's the main topic and not a subplot. But it's ok too is they are an important secondary characters.
(I went twice through the rules and I'm pretty sure it's ok to ask for rec but if not, I apologize and will delete.)

Hi, does anyone have a fanfic that Dean is an actor, and goes to an audiction, when actually is to play Cas's date for a few events. He gets late because he was helping a little kid. Castiel is still mourning for his late fiance.
I think it was deleted from AO3. If anyone have it, please can you send it to me?

Iāve been rewatching supernatural recently and honestly I personally think Castiel shouldāve been Aroace. I like the Destiel ship and I think if he never perused sex or romance in the show that wouldāve been fine. What are your guys thoughts?
r/fandomnatural • u/InterestingOpening26 • 13d ago
Could be centered around a fic. (Any paring is fine as long as it's queer!). Could be centered around Sam figuring out his identity. Could centered around Dean finding out/Sam coming out to people. I'm not picky. Hell even Sam/Original male character is fine.

Any fics where Dean finds out about Sam and Cas? No destial or Winchest tho!

Hello!! I hope this is the right subreddit for this!
Iām writing a Supernatural fanfic with my OCs and the Winchester brothers as the main characters/love interests, and Iām struggling with where to insert my girls into the timeline!
I know for sure I want them introduced before Season 5, because by the time Sam and Dean have their first big split, I want my girls to already be established and part of their lives. Iām just having trouble figuring out around which season or episode would be the best place to introduce them. Iād love any recommendations!
The second thing Iām stuck on is a relationship moment between Dean and my FMC, Arielle.
During Sam and Deanās split (which I actually plan on dragging out longer than the show does), Dean and Arielle get back āhomeā one night, and Iām torn between two options:
⢠They accidentally kiss.
⢠They end up having drunk sex.
Afterward, Dean immediately realizes what happened and starts backpedaling because Arielle is a witch, and he still has all his baggage and biases. They both try to go back to just being friends, but obviously things are different after that.
The reason Iām so torn is because Dean and Arielle donāt get together right away. She actually meets someone else and dates him before eventually ending up with Dean, so thereās a whole slow burn/love triangle happening.
From a storytelling perspective, which do you think works better? The accidental kiss or the drunk hookup? Iād love to hear your reasoning too!
And if you have any questions about my story or characters that might help you decide, ask away! Iām happy to answer anything. Thanks in advance!

So I have a theory as to why Alternate Michael was so much more powerful than our main universe Archangels.
Notice how the battle between Alt Michael and Alt Lucifer tore their world apart, and yet Alt Michael casual toyed with Main Lucifer?
Notice how Alt Michael immediately recognized Main Lucifer as Lucifer, but Main Lucifer didn't know Alt Michael was Michael until he was led to that conclusion, and even then called him a knockoff?
I think Alt Michael didn't simply kill Alt Lucifer, but after besting him, absorbed his grace in order to further power himself up. Why? Well remember, Alt Michael had a beef with God and wanted to kill him, but he knew he wasn't strong enough to do so with just his own might, but maybe if he amped himself up? Eating Alt Lucifer's grace would certainly give him a boost. But I don't think he stopped there.
Notice how Alt Raphael is nowhere to be seen? Well, I suspect Alt Michael killed him and ate his grace too, seeing him as no longer useful as the war was now over. After all, Alt Raphael was a useful general when Alt Michael had hordes of demons, possibly including Apocalypse World's Princes of Hell and Knights of Hell, to deal with. But with the enemy gone, Alt Raphael would no longer be a useful soldier, but instead a potential rival for power, since he's one of the few beings left in that universe who could even REMOTELY challenge him. So he'd want him dead either way, why not consume his grace too, so he could get even more powerful when he eventually caught up with his old man?
It's also possible he hunted down Alt Gabriel and did the same to him, but based on how genuinely surprised he was to see Main Gabriel, I suspect he was never able to locate his universe's version of his baby brother to snack on.
This theory explains why he's so much stronger, why he was hard for Lucifer to recognize, and why he'd be so sure he could handle his old man, God. God and four Archangels was enough to handle Amara, so maybe one Archangel, fueled by the grace of two more, would be enough to challenge God. That's what I believe Alt Michael thought anyhow.
What are your thoughts?

Hy, so Iāve been sent here my friends who claim this is an amazing place for Destiel shippers :āD I san see that.
Uhhh, does anyone here do like analysis of fics?(like ya know people do of fi. Acotar and stuff?
I found this fic: Trench by Wildflowersovermygrave, and I canāt stop thinking about it. I want to dissect it like itās a frog (while Iām waiting for an update >_< lol) xD.
So if anyone knows it and wants to talk about it with me, please (either here in the comments or dm? I JUST NEED TO GET IT OUT OF MY CHEST!!! Iāve read it like 4 times already.

I started watching SPN in 2015 (I was 15 yo). From that year on, every year, I watched the new seasons. Supernatural helped me through highschool and the first part of the pandemic. Then I watched it again and again and again while I was struggling with university (just like now).
Since I was 15 my favourite character is always have been and will always be Gabriel. So you can imagine my absolutely mental breakdown I had when I saw him die in S13. So my headcanon that now, at 26 yo, I still strongly believe in, is that he didn't really died. It was his last trick, to fool everyone: the angels, the demons, the winchesters and even god himself. It was his last trick to be finally free from a family who didn't love him the same way he loved them, free from the brothers who, at the end, he grew fond of.
Don't get me wrong, I love how he sacrificed for them, but I am to fond of Gabriel to believe he is dead lol.
