Guy was pissed yesterday morning we weren't open yet in the morning when my managers & coworkers were getting the store ready for the day & he couldn't get inside so he smashed the shit out of the door, it's a guy who has 2 or 3 dogs and hangs out around the area I think they live in the bushes next to the highway police had to shoo em off multiple times from the bushes

Wth is up with Uber? I have been in small towns before Uber was big like they are now almost a decade ago and had no issues with Uber. Now if you are 20 something minutes away from Dubuque you can't get a freaking Uber. I had a reservation for 9 something this morning that was cancelled and then proceeded to request rides until 11 am with nothing.. like how do Uber drivers make money here? This just seems lazy and I am not used to this behavior. I am extremely annoyed and more than likely will never use Uber here again here.

I have never had this issue before using Uber except here. Make me not want to stay after my lease is up because why is something like Uber hard to access in 2026? This has ruined my whole day and plans and again makes me rethink staying in the area. It's the small things like this that really annoy me. It's like it's still the stone age out here 😒🙄 and I hate it.. not to mention the horrible customer service and bad attitudes. Of course not everyone is bad but enough of them seem miserable smh. FYI almost 11:30 still no Uber.. maybe Uber drivers don't work on Mondays here? 🙄😒

I've been to gyms on the West Coast that charge $60 for the same services, with childcare and other amenities and access to classes included. For $200 I better be getting a personal trainer for every workout!

I have a 8 almost 9 year old Toyota and I’ve been pretty good at keeping it going with taking it to a mechanic, but lately I’ve had some creaking happening when I turn my steering wheel at low speeds, and it’s been making a screeching sound like my timing belt might be wearing out.

Does anyone recommend any good mechanics who would be able to take a look at this issue?

Hi everybody. I’m born and raised in dubuque and I really wanna catch some bass, pike, walleye etc in the river. I have been struggling to find good spots though. I have tried a ton of spots in the dubuque harbor near the river museum, i’ve tried near the lock and damn, near the marina on rhomberg, etc. I have tossed out worms and live minnows, I have used every artificial in the book (ned rigs, senkos, spinners, crankbaits, chatterbaits, flukes, jigs etc. Nothing seems to work and i’m wondering if there’s something i’m doing wrong or if i’m just not fishing in the right place/time. I would love some insight and advice and possibly some good spots. If you’re worried about posting your favorite spot on a public forum, i totally get it. Feel free to inbox me if you want.
