He says he wanna play at the top teams in Italia, so probably Milan, Juventus or Inter, but considering Milan fits his colours best, I think it might be the best option. Considering Milan’s mascot is a Red Devil, much like Agnimon, I think fits him perfectly lol (although Man United go by the same logic except it is an english team). Bayern would also be fun considering it is a team that takes away all the spotlight in Bundesliga, the same way Takuya and Koji does in Frontier 😹 (Botafogo as a bonus cuz it literally means “Setfire” in portuguese)

Hey, everyone. I've been continuing work on the first chapter for "Digimon Knighthood". This scene takes place right after the last one from the first preview, after Miuna fainted. And this one is one I got a fun laugh out of making. Enjoy!

When her eyes next opened, Miuna found herself staring into the sky. Feeling that she was lying down, she slowly pulled herself up, seeing that she was piled upon soft, green grass. Looking back, she saw herself under a tree. “Oh, my head…where am I?”

“Welcome back.” Kigyoku sat by her side, smiling bright like cream icing.

“Kigyoku? I had the weirdest dream. There were these two dragons, and they were fighting. Sounded like something I’d make up for school.”

“Ah, you are awake. How are you feeling?” Turning right, Miuna saw the source of the voice. A white dragon. Bearing muscular limbs, encased in white armor, adorned with blue eyes, sporting a red scarf, equipped with a sword, and capped with blue eyes.

Exactly as she saw in her “dream”.

Next to the dragon was Yasuko, sporting a calm smile. “Hey, airhead. We were just-” Miuna raced to Caliburmon, a breeze wafting up in her wake. Yasuko looked over at Kigyoku. Kigyoku gave her a smug grin, and her friend responded by rolling her eyes.

As for Miuna, she held out her hand. Caliburmon gingerly took it. To the girl’s surprise, the dragon’s hand, though coated in metal, felt warm to the touch. “You’re real. You’re real, so…that other dragon…”

The Strata Knight solemnly bowed his head and closed his eyes. “Yes. He is gone. An unfortunate outcome.”

Miuna softly took back her hand, turning to Yasuko. “How long was I out?”

“About 10 minutes. While you were under, we all spent some time getting to know each other.”

Miuna turned back to the Digimon. “I guess this means that you already know my name, right?”

The knight nodded. “Yes, Young Miuna.”

Gukawa tilted her head. “Young Miuna?” She peered at Kigyoku, who responded, “He’s been doing that since he learned our names. Just go with it. He’s actually older than us.”

“Really? How old is he?”

Yasuko chimed in. “122 years.”
The newly named “Young Miuna” felt a crack form in her head. As she looked over the Digimon again, the crack widened. “You’re even older than my grandma…and you’re still tiny?”

Caliburmon’s face flattened a bit, his tone following suit. “That depends. How old is your grandmother?”

“72 years.”

“Then yes. Your assessment is correct.”

Blinking, Miuna continued, “So what else did you guys talk about?”

Yasuko chimed in, “He told us about what he’s doing here. Said he’s got this really important mission to do. But he wanted to make sure we were okay first.”

“Mm-hmm.” Kigyoku twirled a finger in her hair. “I told him how you don’t live far from here, so we just need a bit more walking, and we’ll be fine.”

Miuna looked over the knight again, and felt her heart soar. “Oh, this is incredible! Honestly, it feels like something I’d write for my own stories. A cute little knight fresh out of Arthurian times…”

Caliburmon focused his energy on his scarf, causing it to glow red as he inwardly blushed at her compliment. “Did she just call me cute?”

“...saving a bunch of girls from a nasty monster, and being so kind as to see them off…” Miuna picked up the Digimon in her arms, holding him close. “...it’s like I’m a princess in a fairy tale. And you’re just the sweetest little hero, aren’t you?”

Giving a low murr, the Rookie-Level now openly blushed, his heart fluttering from Miuna’s warm embrace and compliments. “Armor that’s white like clouds, and big muscles for downing rogues, and that luscious scarf…”

As Miuna kept praising the Overseer, he felt his blush intensifying and burning his cheeks. His armored tail started wagging, like a puppy’s. “This feeling…this praise…I’ve not known it in a while. And this girl…so gentle…” Instinctively, Caliburmon began raising his arms to hug her back, his thoughts nipping away at him still.

“You must focus, Sir Caliburmon. You have a duty to fulfill. For Master Nexmon, and Master Hlekkrmon. You must…but…” Turning his eyes to the other girls, Caliburmon saw Yasuko and Kigyoku laughing at Miuna gushing over him. Their voices were lively and full, like bouquets of glorious blossoms.

“Well, a knight does act to see the people shine. One hug…shouldn’t hurt…” Caliburmon closed his arms around Miuna, reciprocating her hug with one of his own. The murring he had been emitting transitioned to a soft, hearty growling, his eyes closing and his head nuzzling against the teen.

Miuna’s chatter halted as the dragon cuddled up to her. “Oh. Oh, wow. You are cuddly, aren’t you?”

Yasuko grasped and shook her head as she laughed. “Reminds me of my pal Gyuu-Shiyo back home.”

“Yeah. Exactly. And while he’s still got that big sword…oh!” Miuna hurriedly moved her arms away from the sword as she kept hugging Caliburmon. “Oh, yeah! That’s right! The sword’s real! Gotta be careful!” Miuna kept chattering hurriedly, Yasuko giving her a smile mixed with a flat, knowing grimace. Kigyoku laughed even harder.

Caliburmon, meanwhile, continued to snuggle with “Young Miuna”, his tail wagging and his heart churning with delight. “Mmm…how long has it been since I partook in an embrace like this?”

“...well, I’m fine, my friends are fine, we’re all fine. If only I could take this little guy home and-” Miuna’s head shot up like a balloon, the girl giving a squeak. “Home? Hey, what time is it?” She reached for her phone, and when she saw the clock…“2:45?!”

The girl’s scream broke Caliburmon’s gentle lull, making him leap back onto the ground. “What? What is it?” In his mind, the dragon murred sadly, lamenting that the soft moment was over.”

“Oh!” Yasuko palmed and shook her head. “I forgot! Your mom’s waiting for us! If we run, we can make it.”

Shaking himself into focus, the knight spoke up, asking, “Would you like me to escort you home?” Kigyoku answered, “It’s okay! Like I said before, we’ll be fine.”

“Very well, then. Farewell.” But just as Caliburmon turned to leave, Miuna put a hand on his shoulder.

“Wait. I didn’t get to say thanks. You saved our lives, so, thank you.”

Nodding with a smile, the white dragon gently held Miuna’s hand. “No thanks needed. I merely serve others, as befits a knight. I must be off now.”

“Wait.” Miuna came to his front. “How about joining us for lunch?”

Yasuko approached them. “Come on, Miuna. We got to run, t-” Kigyoku gently gripped her shoulder, and then put a finger to her own lip. Yasuko acquiesced and became quiet.

“Oh. Well, there is much I must attend to, and…I do not require sustenance at the moment and-” Caliburmon looked up into Miuna’s eyes. The purple orbs became soft, like that of a Salamon meeting a new friend. His heart burning with guilt, he briskly yet gently pulled away from the girl.

“Young Miuna, I truly must be on my way.” The dragon turned away from the teens, only to hear…

“Hold on!”

Freezing, the armored Digimon craned his head back toward Miuna, who took a deep breath and spoke again.

“You just fought a giant dragon. I get exhausted from running track, so I’m guessing that it took a lot of energy. You can’t run off and defend yourself on an empty stomach, right?”

Caliburmon tilted his head down. “Hmm…”

“Also, you offered to escort us. Which means you offered to stay with us just a little longer.”

“Yes…”

“Finally, I’m guessing you’re new here, given…well, everything on you. Which means you don’t know your way around town. If you’ve really got this…big mission, then running blind’s a bad idea. We know this town. We can tell you about that. If you come with us.”

The Strata Knight, with a rather puzzled face, found himself walking back toward Ms. Gukawa. He looked at her as she’d become a whole other person. “I…you…Young Miuna…” The Rookie awkwardly looked towards Yasuko. “Young Yasuko…is this what you were referring to by your friend’s…“special” attitude?”

“Indeed. She’s an airhead, but she’s not an idiot.”

Kigyoku growled and shook her head. “There you go again. If she’s such an airhead, how does she keep tripping you up?”

“Okay, one-”

Suddenly, a large growling erupted in their midst. Instinctively, Sir Caliburmon clenched his fists. “What was that?”

“That was me.” Miuna gave a sheepish chuckle, pointing at her stomach. “All the new chaos from today has me starving. Heh heh.”

Relaxing, the knight saw a possible out from his little debate. “Well, it appears you require sustenance more than I-”

Suddenly, an even louder growling emerged. The one “sworn to the service of the Digital World” laid a hand over his own gut as it rumbled with want. “I…I…ohhhhh…”

Kigyoku chuckled. “Sounds like your stomach likes Miuna’s idea.”

Caliburmon’s blush returned as he looked down at his stomach and narrowed his eyes, growling. “Why must you be like this now? Well, I did eat rather lightly before I came to this plane.”

He raised his head to the girls, all smiling down at him. He then dipped his head low, closing his eyes and heaving a sigh. “I accept your offer.”

#1 Is this series just going to have episodic villains and stories the whole way without any sort of arc villain? I assume towards the end there will be some huge threat that requires more than 1 episode to beat. But I am talking like the mini arc villains that literally all other Digimon series gave us before we get as much as 30 episodes in. I'm impressed they managed to do it this way this long. Where's like the Devimon, Etemon type arcs from Adventure 1? Or even the Mienumon, Charismon types from App Monsters? If its just gonna be low stakes 1 episode or half episode type foes for all 60+ episodes, I'm not sure I'll end up having a high enough opinion of the series by the end. & it started off very promising in my mind.

#2 Why is it taking the MCs this long to stop calling the Digimon "hologram ghosts?" They literally know they are all Digimon from like the first few episodes. This is another thing I'm wondering if they will continue doing the rest of the way. Refer to them as hologram ghosts at the start of each episode and then later realise they are obviously just more Digimon. Its fine for the regular civilians to call them that, but I don't get why the MCs do it early on in basically every episode for 30 episodes now even amongst themselves.

Like, i was playing lost evolution and saw skull Greymon being one of the paths of a black agumon and got curious, if for normal digimons, some are considered a dark evolutions, such as skull Greymon for agumon, megidramon for guilmon. For their black counterparts then they would be a normal path?

Loved Cyber Sleuth, finally got a chance to try Time Stranger, and it feels like I don't have much of a reason to actually play the game right now.

To start off: I have x5 battle speed available from the very beginning. This option makes battles so blazing fast I just leave the autobattle on and wait for my mons to clear all the non-boss encounters. That's all the random encounters just playing themselves. I could turn it off and play normally, but if the option exists then this means the game was designed with it in mind and I'm just punishing myself by not using it.

Then there's the barrage of information dump from the very beginning:

>not even out of the game introduction and I had some two dozen newly converted Digimon (all at 200% even)

>every time I clear an encounter I get a barrage of constant notifications lining up to the right side of my screen (6 Digimon got XP, maybe more, also the conversion rate changes, ALSO new digivolutions available and who knows what else, surely there's a better way to synthesize this information without making it a tiresome list that appears after every. single. fight.)

>not even out of the game introduction I have mons ask me personality questions like "why? what does this affect? I don't care just do whatever you want"

>later I find out these personalities are tied to FOUR ENTIRE PERSONALITY CATEGORIES. This means I have to keep track of the Digimon's personalities and only answer questions that pushes them in the quadrant that I want to use, because OBVIOUSLY I'm going to max out just ONE TYPE OF PERSONALITY UPGRADES.

As for the story, it's too early for me to be invested in it. It started off with far too much happening, which seems to be a common theme here: "there's far too much at once". Felt like I was flung around from situation to situation far too sporadically and quickly for what should be the introduction to the game.

So really, am I missing something?

EDIT: okay looks like the answer is "just play on x1 or x2 speed, lol" and "don't worry about personality types". Fair! I'll try that and see if it feels any better.

For context, Tai and TK head to France to destroy a control spire there and the digidestined they meet has a Floramon so when they go to actually fight, it’s MetalGreymon, MagnaAngemon, and Kiwimon fighting together which is just hilarious to me.

Now I know what you’re gonna say: “He’s a kid in those shows”. But so is Yamato.

My point is this: the type of character he is should have a teenager sounding voice in general. Joshua Seth was perfect in my opinion. He nailed the cocky, preteen, jock type of character that I felt like what the character actually represents. The Adventure VA is very much a shounen protagonist but that voice always seemed like it was for someone more unsure of himself. Taichi is extremely confident, borderline arrogant which lends more to a teenager sounding voice.

What are your thoughts Tamers?
