All this dude's done is creating problems out of nowhere while being an entitled little bitch and there's not a single reason as to why Walter would keep him around, especially after meeting Saul and using his connections to resolve the distribution and protection issues.

I’m obsessed with BB and also obsessed with documentaries, aftermath of large events/crimes, etc and I would LOVEEE to see a “documentary” focusing on Heisenberg from the POV of the DEA, local/national officials, Skyler, Junior, Marie, etc. I feel like that would be such a fun lil epilogue!!!
I personally would have loved a couple of episodes highlighting Skyler/Marie and their grief/process after the fact so I feel like this would be a good way to do that in documentary style lollll

One of the biggest ones had to be the cliff hanger between season 5 episode 8 to episode 9. I just watched the series for the first time, and I wasn’t aware there was a season 5 A and B.

Mike during the show is written as an extremely competent professional. He is able to tell if he is being followed by the DEA or not with 100 % consistency. He dominates every situation he is in. He can read Walt like a book and knows the danger coming from him. Yet, Walt is able to just walk up to him with a gun and shoot him with zero resistance? It just makes no sense at all, it's the worst written thing that happens in the show.

I finished Snowfall recently. What struck me the most is how feared and powerful Franklin became. You really see him settle in as a king, imposing respect and terror, and this phase lasts long enough for us to truly savor his peak.

In Breaking Bad, we get the same feeling with Heisenberg but it’s ridiculously short. He barely reaches the top before everything starts collapsing. We get the build-up and the transformation, but almost no time to see him reign.

I mean, with his degree and contribution to a Nobel Peace Prize, I would think it would be enough to easily get him a better job than a high school teacher.

I've never been to a car wash. Does anyone know what that means and what the thing that they give to customers with this sentence is?

I like to fantasize about this scenario sometimes, if Walt and Jesse just continued their small business on the RV "The crystal ship", and just had Badger and Skinny Pete handle sales. I know its a silly idea, but it would be such a relaxing, comforting, even funny, lighthearted story. Just occasionally dodging cops or solving problems with petty street crimes.

I only watched Breaking Bad, I plan to start Better Call Saul one of these days. Now that I'm finally able to browse through community posts and discussions I noticed a few things I don't understand where they come from.

Why the heck everyone hates Skyler?? I truly don't get it. She had the most normal and understandable reactions to everything that happened to her. She obviously wasn't as smart as Walt (who is tho) and wasn't able to think some stuff through enough (the 600k to Beneke for instance), but I was surprised by how good at lying she was (like with the whole gambling story). Unlike Walt, everything she did was really for her family. My heart broke when Walt kidnapped Holly. I also loved the scene where she says to Walt that she'll count as a win every moment the kids spent at Hank and Marie's house. I don't understand how can anyone hate her.

Why do people defend Walt? Like sure at first he's really just doing everything for his family (paying off the house and granting college education to his kids) and for the thrill of it, but he becomes more and more a ruthless monster who doesn't care for anyone except his desire for power. He kills an outstanding amount of people, getting more and more cold blooded at it. He manipulated Jesse an uncountable amount of times just for his benefit, he let Jane die cause she was a danger, he mandated the murder of 10 people in 2 minutes, he manipulated literally everyone in his life. How can anyone defend him?

Not that anyone cares, but my favourite scene was when Hank confronts Walt in the garage. Hank's actor was astonishing.

I have been practicing my writing, and I've always been curious to know what was in Jesse's letter to Brock. So, after looking through Aaron Paul's statements of it being "heartfelt, and honest", and studying some of the Breaking Bad scripts. I think it could look something like this:

Dear Brock,

It’s been a long time. I know you’re probably getting big by now.

I was thinking the other day about that magic trick I showed you with the napkin and the water. To be honest with you, I never actually knew how it worked. I just saw it on some science show and remembered it because I wanted to make you smile.

I need to be honest with you about everything else, too. Your mom was the most amazing, beautiful person. She loved you more than anything in the world. And what happened to her... it happened because of me. The people I was working for wanted to hurt me, to keep me trapped, and they used her to do it. I would trade places with her in a second if I could. I am so sorry I wasn't there to protect her, and I'm so sorry you were left alone.

I’m sure you’ve seen the news or heard what people are saying about me. It’s all true. Every bit of it. I made horrible choices. I got involved with the worst kinds of people, and I brought those people right to your front door. You have every right to hate me for the rest of your life. I blame myself every single day.

It’s been a few years, but I’m looking for a video of a writer claiming that they wrote a show that was very similar if not identical to breaking bad and they did a screening of it at the Richmond Colosseum their claim is that Vince Gilligan was there and they believe that he stole the breaking bad idea from them, does anybody have any idea what I’m talking about? I can’t find the video of the writer claiming it anywhere. It’s been a couple years since I last seen the video.

He having an alibi + a money laundering system would do wonders to keeping Walter in line and his family in the down. Walter would be able to vanish every day, 8-10 hours a day, work in the super methlab and give out a nice explanation to his friends and family about where the money is comming from.

I don’t really know what to put here for the 100 characters but have a wonderful day and would love to hear your thoughts.

Season 5 episode 2 is supposed to be 9.1 and season 5 episode 12 is 9.8 but besides that it’s all good tell me what you think about it.

For me it’s that walking dead and breaking bad occur in the same universe. I believe the reason was that blue meth was seen in the show but I could be wrong.

Like there’s no way Skyler and Jr. would’ve accepted or understood that. What was his plan there. Thankfully Skyler gave the money to Ted so we got another season. Lots of people hate Skyler for giving the money to Ted and say she fucked up, but she didn’t. It was the right decision. i know Walt was desperate at that point but on this rewatch I really can’t understand how Walt thought that would’ve worked at that point

I know, most of you would’ve taken Elliot’s offer. But let’s say you didn’t want that and wanted to pave your own path before you met the sky daddy.

Would you have been honest & upfront with Skylar knowing it would end your relationship?

Walter considers both Walter Jr. and Jesse as his sons, but he treats them very differently. While he's mostly "soft" with Flynn he's incredibly abusive towards Jesse, and I think the reason is that he thinks of Walter Jr. as a failed experiment because of his disability. Walter subconsciously believes that Flynn's condition makes him weak and will automatically stop him from reaching any real achievement, and whenever his son actually manages to do something Walter always finds a way to put him down (ex: in the car or with the donations site). For this reason he always puts extra pressure on Jesse, who somehow has to compensate Flynn's disability.

edit: guys i'm not saying that Flynn's disability is the ONLY and MAIN reason Walter behaved in a certain way, but that there was also this factor. Also as a disabled person I kinda recognize some patterns haha
