I went into my storage today to find my xbox one to sell it, however my younger brother took paint markers too it, any idea how to remove it (Its in the holes too..)

I played Gears of War 2 (digital copy) on my XSX up to halfway of chapter 3, the game was already showing some instability since chapter 2, like graphical glitches or game freezing in the same spot that required restarting the game or even resting the console to so that I could progress further but
now the game just freezes on loading screen when ever I load a save or start a new game, I tried reinstalling the game and clearing saved data but the issue persists!
Can't anyone help with that?! Thanks!

Hey everyone, ive seen this posted, but no answers. Hoping someone can help me. When I try to watch AppleTV on my xbox, it acts like the hdmi is broken. It completely acts like the tv doesn't have the xbox connected. I have to turn off the xbox and turn it back on to get it to show again. Anyone have a solution for this? I am guessing something in apple isn't jiving with my display settings on the xbox or the tv.

Alright, the AI Chatbot is downright scummy, and I will refrain from cursing in here; but my partners younger brother genuinely needs help and we cant reach a person AT ALL!!

The problem at hand is that younger brother cant sign into his account. He can access it in offline mode, but as soon he tries to connect to the internet, the Xbox logs him out and requires him to sign in. The email is connected to my partners, which weve been trying to help by relaying the code, but the Xbox refuses to accept it at this point. *Edit to add that the younger brother forgot his password, which is why we need human intervention.

We've called a bunch of times and were hung up on by the AI. We genuinely need some human support on this issue and would love some help.

*Also to add, I figured maybe someone would have a different number or perhaps something to try that we havent. I just wish we could get through to an agent and not have to speak to an AI.

Hi, I've been having this issue all month. I've been trying to buy the 2TB galaxy Xbox and keep getting errors that won't let me complete the purchase. I've tried different browsers and incognito modes with no luck. Even after the chat agent sent me a link, it kept telling me there was an error and to try again. I checked my billing and shipping addresses and bank account so everything looks fine there. I've removed and re-added payment methods. I have been told that I couldn't complete the purchase because my old Xbox one was linked to my address and according to the chat agent you are limited to one device connected to your account and address. Is that even true? I feel like I'm being lied to, I was supposed to get an answer back via email within an hour or two and it's been 5 with no updates. Any advice or suggestions?

Okay everyone, hello. I’ve had my Xbox One S for 9 years. It’s been through my brother’s long hours of COD gameplay, Fortnite, and tons of my Overwatch hours. I only have 3 applications installed on it, and any disc games I use on it, I immediately uninstall to free space. It never has problems, never has too much lag. I barely even used any storage space. But yesterday, I was on a game, when the whole game software crashed due to an internet error. I figured that it was weird but fixable because my wifi is already kind of shitty. Unfortunately, I spent around 9 hours yesterday trying to fix the wifi problem, and no solutions. I tried every single thing to fix it, everything that my Xbox recommended at least 10 times. I restarted my router 3x, set a custom IP 6x, and set custom settings for EVERYTHING. I followed every instruction i was given and yet, nothing worked. It just said I was offline even though I was connected to the wifi. Upon testing the connection, it would come up with “can’t find static IP address, something about a DHCP“. It gave me all those solutions, which I followed, and it didn’t work. So, I factory reset it. Still didn’t connect to my wifi. The only thing it could connect to was my phone hotspot. Everything I tried to open or reset took a very long time and was INCREDIBLY laggy. If anyone knows if this is fixable, let me know. If not, say goodbye to this old lady of an Xbox. Thanks!

I'm trying to log in using a code, but I get a "failed to send code" error. I'm trying to log in using a password, but I get a "too many failed attempts" error.

So just overnight I saw my Xbox flashing its light on its own. Since then it has not been able to boot up it turns for maybe 60 seconds then shuts off the Kinect light won’t even turn on. I switched the power brick that a friend lent me and the problem still exists.

When I go to change my privacy settings to use discord and looking for group posts, it won’t save the options I’ve chosen. I am over 18, age verified and not part of a family group. Does anyone have a fix?

So I was late for my Xbox bill but I paid it and it said I had ultimate and all games work but now it will says I have it but it will not let me play online/ game pass games please help. it’s so annoying when I literally paid it less than a week ago.

My Xbox Series X keeps shutting down mid-game. Played for 5 months without issue. This started last month but was fine for a bit. After the last update, it has happened to me twice in a row right before I was about to extract. My Xbox is clean and this is the only game that this happens. Frustrating. Anyone else?

It will not stay on for longer than half a second. The controller wont turn the console on, I've unplugged everything but the power cable, moved the cable to an outlet. It did this last night also but it did turn on after a while of pushing the power button over and over

I'm already subscribed to PC Game Pass, was able to install Crimson Skies and Fusion Frenzy, but Blinx and Conker haven't had any install prompt for me, only a prompt to subscribe to some higher tier in order to play with cloud. Wondering if anyone's having the same issue, and if there's a fix.

EDIT: It just took a bit longer to update on the page than the other two games, looks to be live now.

I usually turn on Youtube or Netflix on my Xbox One while I play games on my Xbox Series S but Yesterday I turned on my Xbox and no matter what app I went to it wouldn’t work. I was hoping it would be better today but it is not. It either says it can’t find my ip or it can’t connect to internet even tho this has never been an issue. Every other Xbox and device in the house works perfectly except for my Xbox One. Is there any way to fix this?

Tried troubleshooting for days and just remembered this came right after latest energy saving Xbox update. I turned it off and everything is working as it should just in case your having same issue

I’m asking because I always thought I had mic issues, when I play on games with proximity chat, like Outlast Trial, Arc Raiders and Backrooms. Game like the ones I listed, voice chat comes out speaker not the game. I have change tweak every setting I can think of nothing. I would monoheadset non-aux, I ended buying an aux headset and still ran into the same problem.

The game chat works fine on Fortnite, call of duty, halo, gears, hell divers tho.

Is there a way I can only hear voice chat only on games like outlast, back rooms etc….

my Xbox Series X turns off and when I turn it back on, I am prompted with the overheating message

this has only happened with Shift At Midnight and every time I start up the story

I have been playing Outlast Trials today and currently playing Forza Horizon 6, no turning off...which is weird as it requires more power

I can hear my fan louder than it should be, but I have taken it apart and dusted it all

but still only with that title, it turns off

can this happen with specific games?

Has anyone recently even received an order they made on the design labs? I haven’t heard anything about one I made 6 weeks ago and it’s gone in and out of stock like 4 or 5 times now.

My Xbox Series X has started acting really weird since this morning. I turn it on, the startup animation glitches for several seconds and the console immediately shuts itself off before it even reaches the dashboard.

Other times, i can get to the dashboard, launch a game, play for about 5 minutes... and then it suddenly turns off. No warning, no overheating message, nothing. like someone unplugged it. The fan is spinning normally, and the console has always had plenty of airflow. I already tried leaving it unplugged for a while, changed its position (vertical/horizontal), but nothing changed. Also, I tried booting into recovery mode, but it won't even get there

Has anyone had this happen before? any suggestion or help will be very appreciated 🙏

I have Xbox Series X, and it happened once yesterday and 3 times today, the Ann Droid show ad shows up out of nowhere, it lasts 5 seconds, it turns off, and I cant play the xbox after that, I literally have to restart by removing the xbox plug, if I restart normally the image never comes back, like… what ??

What could be causing this and how can I fix it? I just got this Series X and I only buy physical discs so this is quite a bummer 😞

I’m having a strange issue with my Xbox Series X (original model) and I’m trying to figure out if this is a hardware problem or something else.

Several digital games crash randomly during gameplay and instantly return me to the dashboard without any error message.

Affected games:

- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

- Assassin’s Creed Shadows

- Rainbow Six Siege

- Monster Hunter Rise

Space Marine 2 and Assassin’s Creed Shadows are basically unplayable because they usually crash within the first hour.

What’s strange is that other demanding games, like Cyberpunk 2077, run completely fine and don’t crash.

Things I have already tried:

- Full restart/power cycle

- Reinstalling the affected games

- Factory reset (“Reset and remove everything”)

- Checking for system and game updates

I’ve also noticed that the Xbox dashboard sometimes becomes sluggish even when no game is running.

Has anyone experienced something similar where only certain games crash but others run fine?
