idk who needs to hear this but... if you spawn on a flank and instantly sail across the map because "the other side has more battleships", you're leaving your teammates to get farmed.

for me, those players are the worst.

a captain should never abandon his flank. same way a soldier doesnt just throw away his rifle because another battlefield looks more fun.

holding your flank = strong mid game.
losing your flank = now we're getting crossfired from 3 angles and everyone is typing "where team??"

every single time.

yeah sometimes you get focused. yeah sometimes you lose the flank. thats part of the game.

but leaving it before the first shots are even fired? criminal behavior 😂

stop chasing the "safe side". defend what you spawned with. if everyone just holds their lane, matches become 10x easier.

a fleet without flanks is like a soldier without a helmet. flank is honor.

Wanted to turn my last 12 Sabaton camos into a permanent one for Numancia, accidentally pressed "Melt to paint" and panicked, which then unfortunately lead to melting a single camo instead of backing out 🫠

Unironically Karl Johan is pretty solid for ranked, was by all means surprisingly enjoyable. It’s something different, which I think is fun.

I love getting to do this when the match is (hopefully) in the bag. I knew the two cruisers were there but the DD was a nice windfall.

Around tier IV-VI (thats not a keyboard emoji lol even though it looks like it, *tier 4 through 6*) and around 6,250 - 10,000 gold/doubloons..

Ive already heard really great things about guilio cesare and hyuga so im already considering those

Are there any ships that have ironclad trait aswell as either a “guns aplenty” or “big guns” trait?

Maybe its just me but i dont really get why nobody talks about Santander.

I've been playing it quite a bit lately and honestly... its a really solid ship.

The HE damage adds up way faster than i expected. You are constantly farming BBs, the AP slaps cruisers if they show even a little broadside, and having both smoke and a heal makes it way more forgiving than most light cruisers at T8.

The sonar is also underrated. Caught more DDs than i thought i would and it saved me from torps plenty of times.

Sure, the armor is made of paper. If you get caught broadside you're probably going back to port lol. And yeah, it doesnt really carry games by itself if your team melts in 5 mins.

But if your team has at least 2 braincells and you play around islands, this thing just farms damage all game. Feels like one of those ships that quietly does a ton of work without getting much attention. Main turret turn is so fast and cannons are so accurate, well groupped shells is plus.

Maybe Worcester is stronger overall because of the radar, but Santander feels way more comfy to play.

Am i missing something here or is Santander just flying under the radar because everyone skipped the Pan-American cruiser line?

Overall is dispersion or grouping generally better point for point? I’m not a big battleship player but I’ve been recently working up the American lines and I was wondering about inspirations for an accuracy build. I’m using Cunningham as the first but for the second I’m considering Iachino (at 9/2) vs the new Spanish commander, Ferrandiz y Nino(at 8/1). I’m just not clear on which stat works out better in the long run.

JB is point and shoot, and Champagne is almost just a big cruiser. Super accurate guns, fast, MBRR, meh armor…. How does Gascogne vary from Champagne?

Title. Got my GXP up, time for a new boat. I have a variety of boats in my port, and consider myself decent all around (constantly top 4 in my team).

Which of these boats will give me more carry potential?

Commanders I plan on using would be Blue Furiora or Sa Zhenbing.

Nothing crazy, just grinding through the Tier V U.S. line. It was an Arcade match, and I ended up in a 3v1 as the last ship alive. We were down on points with about 60 seconds left, so I figured the last guy would just play it safe and run out the clock. Instead, he came cruising through the other Cap completely broadside. I wasn’t about to waste that opportunity, so I made him pay for it and stole the win. 🚢💥

In the clip, Ranked, two DDs remain, blue’ cap B is capped, cap A is vacant.

I thought red DD was going after cap A, because this moment, nothing indicating the cap was being contested as per the clip.

Red DD was actually unspotted behind island, red dd appears, smokes me.

Yes, my reaction time was poor, but didn’t think this ship could take 6000 HP out of me in one volley either.

Is the absence of indication the cap was being contested a bug?

Hi, I'm trying to get the PlayStation trophies for this game. One of them is to sink four ships with a Japanese/German and a British/American ship. I already got the Japanese one with the Ishizuchi and Takagi. Does anyone have any recommendations for a non-legendary/premium ship to do the British/American one with at lower tiers like 2, 3, or 4? Thanks a lot.

Was thinking about dropping doubloons on one of the Star Trek commanders, but not sure which are worth it? I don’t play a lot of Japanese BB’s bit was thinking about the Borg Queen. Maybe Picard but I’m a semi-retired CV player.

Is there anyone that sticks out to you, or has an inspiration that is worth it? Only commander I’ve bought so far is Bismarck for secondary shenanigans. Have a decent chunk of dubs sitting around though, was thinking of grabbing one commander per cycle.
