I'm a bit surprised and amused. I've ordered UberEats from this pizza place more than a dozen times and this is the first time I've seen anything physically attached to the box like this and it's an advertisement for... *ahem* mature entertainment. Could the driver have put this on? Is it self-promotion? Is this allowed?? I'm not mad but I'm very confused.

It’s clear that I can’t be intoxicate when I order alcohol from uber eats.

If I do order and the driver arrives at my door what happens?

Do they “destroy” the delivery?

Delivery driver scanned my ID and left. Didn’t look at me once and I think unless I was properly buggered it wouldn’t have been an issue.

Wow, the Prop 22 supplement for Uber Eats drivers is crazy some weeks. Have you California drivers hugged a liberal lately????

They also ordered from a Starbucks that's across the state line in Duluth MN, so there was a pretty epic Lake Superior crossing involved.

The total was $42 including tips for a order then when I check back on my phone it’s $55 in total and contacted support. They refunded me $5.99, uber super shady for this plus I’m going to chargeback and it happen again with another order on the same day. Uber sucks !!

I ordered from Wawa, and they provided an official note from the company in the bag stating that one item was out of stock and to contact Uber Eats for a refund.

Uber Eats no longer has a phone number you can call and you must use their chat. I’ve been back and forth with their chat for over a day, providing picture proof of this. They say the same thing over and over, that I’m not eligible for a refund. I’ve asked to speak to a supervisor and to escalate the issue about 10 times. Nothing happens.

It’s incredible how this company can just commit fraud. I don’t know what else to do besides a chargeback. Does anyone have any suggestions before I do that?

I walked over. Before I said much, the manager saw my phone and told me the order was canceled — which it wasn’t, it was right there on my screen. I told him what the first employee had said and that I had a hard time believing Uber itself called. That’s when it went sideways. He got loud, started cutting me off every time I tried to ask a question or say anything. I wasn’t accusing anyone at the store of lying — my actual point was that if someone called claiming to be Uber not to fulfill the order, it must’ve not been Uber. I think it was a customer who called and tried to get Uber to cancel the order because customer wanted to cancel the order and not pay a fee, but this guy wouldn’t let me say anything and outright refused to speak to me at one point.

I asked who the GM was. He said he was. I said he’s the manager, not the GM. He said “acting GM.” He refused to give me any information and told me to leave. I’ll own my part — I told him to shut up and let me talk. Not something I normally would say, but I did get pretty frustrated, but I didn’t say angry tone. He just kept cutting me off . Then I tried asking another employee who the GM was, but he was standing right there watching, so nobody was going to tell me anything. He then asked for the Uber order number from an employee so he could ban me from the store.

Questions for anyone who’s dealt with this:

**•** Why would Uber call a store by phone to say don’t fulfill an order, and then just leave the order active in the driver app? Why not cancel it in the system, which takes seconds?   
**•** Why wouldn’t the customer just cancel it themselves?  
**•** Has anyone actually gotten banned from a merchant over something like this?

I’m not very picky and as long as my food reaches me within like an hour I do the thumbs up and the little feedback boxes come up and I usually press all of them. Does that actually help the drivers rating out or is it like pointless?

If I'm wrong, please correct me but this is now all over my area, several times a day. So, active hour - meaning if I take non-stop orders, lets say 4 in an hour with zero downtime, it would be an extra 60 cents per order. Any down time means zero bonus. So let's say I only take two offers in an hour and both of them take me 20 minutes start to stop. 40 minutes total = $1.66 more.

I needed a contact lens case as I left the other one I have at my girlfriends house, and so I ordered a set to be delivered - would have gone out and gotten it myself but I’m a divorced dad and my kids are with me and asleep so uber is next best thing. Waited like 35 minutes for the order and what shows up? McDonald’s. When I contacted support the first guy I spoke to asked me to send a picture of the items I got instead of the contact case and I sent a picture of the McDonald’s bag but he kept asking me to open the bag and show the items. My guy……it’s a McDonalds bag.

His phone stopped working so he couldn't take a picture of my DL to give me his order 😩. But he was sooo nice and apologetic, I feel so bad that he went out of his way to bring me an order and bc of things out of his control, he didn't get tipped! Before he left and had to cancel the order, I gave him a higher tip! He was so nice! I learned about his life just in the 10 mins we spent trying to fix his phone.

IK there'd probably no way to fix this, but I still want to yell into the void! He didn't do anything wrong and I wasted his time 🥲. Love you random Uber driver

Ordered a couple hours ago and noticed 12% tip was “$3.24” where 12% of 21.50 is $2.58. Is this normal?

Edit: some of you guys are miserable, I tip based on effort and drive time. 20-25% tip deserves to go to Servers and Baristas who get blistered feet on the job compared to drivers on a phone call.
