If I have uber cash in credits, what’s my total?

Just used uber eats for the first time. I tipped $11.50. It was 15 mins away. The driver had like 2 other orders one being my neighbor like a street over actually. I did over 20% but maybe should have tipped more. Was the driver angry with me by accepting other orders, or is that just how it goes?

Have started noticing a trend over the past few months where the GPS tracker will show the driver is at the location and items picked up, but then the driver seems to stay at that location for a very long time (+30min sometimes) before finally moving towards me. This even happens at locations where the items have already been bagged and are ready for immediate pickup.

Are they spoofing their locations? If so why?

Uber saying they can't do anything about it because I don't have exact screenshot that they desire. I am not even sure what kind of screenshot they are after. I just happen to have these screenshots because I was chatting with my wife about what to order and took screenshots.

I recently made a post how Uber eats tricked me into placing in order without the promotion being applied, then told me I need to give them my id and a face scan to get my refund. I filed a dispute and a few days later I just received a full refund from USAA. LIFES GREAT.

I reserved an Uber Eats order for 12 Since I had never picked up from that store before and didn't know where it was in the I went inside the mall early At 11:54 while I was literally standing right in front of the store, Uber canceled the reservation, claiming I wasn't at the pickup location. I was exactly where I was supposed to be.Then I noticed they immediately sent the order back out but this time it had add more and no extra pay which someone quickly took .I'm so pissed. I wasted gas driving there and passed on other orders because I was committed to this reserved order. Meanwhile, Uber kept sending me garbage $5 orders that I declined while I was waiting.It honestly makes me wonder if they took the good paying reserved order away because I wasn't accepting those low-paying offers and gave it to someone else instead. The reason they gave for canceling that I wasn't at the store is completely false.Has anyone else had a reserved order canceled like this even though you were already at the pickup location? Did support ever make it right? And what’s messed up it doesn’t even show on my trip history. I wish I took a screenshot of the message, but I didn’t think I needed to.

Hi Reddit. I've never posted before but I really need some advice on how I handled this. This happened late last night.

So I, '21F' live alone. I decided to get high and order Uber eats. Something I've done multiple times. Me being high defiantly had an effect on my reaction so I feel it is important to mention in this post. I waited to take my gummy till it said the driver was picking up my food. so it would start kicking in a little after he showed up. it's about 9:30 pm when he arrives at my building. Now, as a woman who lives alone I have certain precautions to keep myself safe during late night deliveries. I use my real last name but a fake male name for my first. So they think I am a man or with one. Not a woman who is alone. Secondly, I do not go farther than my front door at night for deliveries.I won't wait outside my door for more than a few minutes. Depending on how late it is, I'll add to the instructions that I won't answer the door unless you knock. In the past if I've had drivers be lost and ask for me to come outside, I explain why I am uncomfortable with that but I'll give directions over the phone. Every other driver has been so kind about that request.

Now, when this driver showed up at my building I get a message that he is here. I open the door and he is not there. I text saying I don't see him and if he could come to my apartment (fake number) D11. He texts back 'ok got it'. 10 minutes pass and I don't see him outside. I get a call and it's him saying he is outside. I open my door and he is still not there. I tell him I do not see him and he says he is and C5. I told him he was so close but the apartment is actually D11. Then I hear a second voice on the phone. 'is someone else with you?" I ask. "yeah my friend, he is with me, please come meet us outside". I told him I was sorry but I don't feel comfortable meeting two men I don't know in the dark, please come to the door. He says "can't find D11, only up to D8, just come meet me and my friend at D8". I told him I'm sorry but I will not be accommodating my instructions for his convince, because they are there for my safety. but I would be happy to give instructions on how to find me. "ok, how do I get there from D8". I proceeded to try to give him instructions based on surrounding rather than numbers (because I was insanely suspicious on why he couldn't find my number). I asked him if he could see the buildings pool (for context, I live in a condominium that's U-shaped, surrounding the pool. there is no way you could miss it). He refused to listen to me. Kept talking over me saying 'nononono how do I get to you from d8, just come outside and meet me and my friend" (who was talking in the background the ENTIRE time on the phone). I got frustrated and asked him to please talk to one of us at a time because I was having trouble hearing. I expressed I was frustrated that he presented this miscommunication and that when I tried to give a solution he wouldn't listen to me. He kept asking me to meet him and his friend outside.

We hit the 25-30 minute mark of this phone call and the 15 minute mark of us going back and fourth of him asking me to come out and me telling him no because his persistence was making me feel unsafe. Apart from giving directions I told him I would start flickering my outdoor light so he could find me. he kept saying 'I don't see it' over and over and I finally said then you're obviously in the wrong spot. He kept asking me to come find him and his friend (he would not stop mentioning his friend). At the 30 minute mark I absolutely snapped. I had been high for this whole phone call which is why I believe I resorted to yelling. I have never yelled at anyone like that, I think the only time I ever yelled at anyone was a fight with my parents when I was being an overdramatic teenager. Yelling is insanely out of character for me. I started screaming about how unprofessional he was behaving. That respectfully I was paying him to come to my door to give me my food. How his persistence to get me to come outside in the dark while he was with a stranger WHO WAS NOT EMPLOYED BY UBER made me feel so unbelievably scared and unsafe.(I cannot express how many times I used the word unsafe leading up to the yelling). I told hime to come to my door and deliver the food now or I am canceling this order which takes away his 25% tip. And I will not be answering unless he knocks on my door like I put in the instructions. He said 'fine, I come to D11". I stopped yelling but snappily replied with, 'were you not even trying to do that before? then why were we on the phone for 30 minutes". He says "chill out I'm coming" and hangs up the phone. I should have just canceled the order after the phone call hit 20 minutes but I think letting this go on longer than it should have is also where my edible came in to play. so I'm waiting by my door for another 15 minutes and I'm starting to assume that he's stealing my food or canceling the order. until my phone rings.

Driver: "I'm here outside"

me: "are you outside D11?"

driver:"yeah I am"

Me: "then knock on my door and prove it. or I'm not coming out"

Driver: "nononono but I'm here though

Me: "knock on the damn door" (I know I was being an ass here)

as I hear the driver come up with another response, I hear him speaking outside the door and it's lining up with he's saying on the phone. so I thought fck it and I opened the door. To see him walking away with my food and typing on his phone. I say "hey, D11 is right here" he turns around awkward and astonished. Hands me my food while laughing. which was weird. His friend seems to be gone. I say the pin is ______ and start to close the door. he responds with "nononono here" and hands me his phone. As I am about to punch in the code it blacks out and says order canceled due to overtime. I hand him back his phone and say 'I didn't press it anything but it just timed out and canceled'. he shook his head and said 'you sign it'. I said, 'I guess so, have a good night' and closed the door. Immediately locking it.

I thought if I had wandered out to meet him and his friend I was going to get kidnapped. I'm sure my feelings were amplified due to the weed but I have never felt such visceral fight or flight in my whole life. I should have just canceled the order and I don't know why I didn't. I never leave reviews on Uber unless they are good but I left a very detailed one star review. I waited about 30 minutes before starting to write it in fear he would come back and pound on my door. To top it off, the phone interaction took so long (and I took notes on the time to make sure the high wasn't making me feel like it was longer than it was) that my food was stone cold and drink completely melted by the time it was finally delivered. I have reached out to uber eats customer service but they no longer do phone calls. Only stupid forms on the app. I have not heard back and have not even been refunded for my tip or order. I've been a loyal uber eats customer for years and I think I am going to quit all together because of this. Also, I should mention the driver was ranked as one of their top couriers, and while waiting for him to find my place I looked into it, I WAS HIS 10TH DELIVERY. WTF. Also, right before I started yelling he said my real first name. I immediately asked him to repeat himself and he refused. I said the order was for (insert fake male name) to which he said 'oh yeah yeah yeah that's what I said'. There is no way he would know my real name, the fake male name was written on the bag, and the printed ticket attached. Took me a moment to remember that detail while writing this but when I check my note from last night (I wrote everything down so I would remember clearly I found it). I am just honestly so scared that this person is technically up to Uber's standards for hiring, is labeled a top courier with this behavior and lack of experience. And also so frustrated at Uber's lack of customer service. so, AIO
