I understand your frustrations. I am an advisor in a college and we have been ringing the alarm bells over and over. This system never should have gone live, we have reported this several times but it has fallen on deaf ears to the chancellor’s office because they don’t want to spend the extra money to fix the system, so it was a response of: “we’ll make it work.” Well. It’s not working.

I urge you to take your complaints to the chancellor’s office. They ignored staff warnings that this system was not ready to go live. They didn’t listen. Maybe they will listen to the students instead.

Thank you UCSD for making the TSS services! I have always wanted to go through multiple error pages trying to enroll in my classes! I have always wanted to use AI to access my course planners. Lord I am SOOOOOO pleased that this is what my tuiton goes towards! Wow, I can't wait to use TSS while I go to goopkitchen! How wonderful is life.

Do I even need to enroll in classes? when I could just look at an error screen? Sources say Yes!!!!!!

How is it that some Redditors here are doing a better job at making websites to help plan classes than ucsd… like what even was the point of making tss if webreg was perfectly fine

pretty much what the title says, but like holy sh*t this system sucks. was there no stress testing or anything going on? i can't even enroll in any of my classes, degree audit wasn't working, gpa calculator gone, I CAN'T PLAN MY CLASSES, they took out so many simple functionalities of webreg, etc. why make something so much more complex than it needs to be? cherry on top is tritongpt 😍

i deadass hate this. i had my first pass 20 minutes ago and i cant get the site to load. And when i do, none of the classes are showing up. wtf?? i hate this website and this was the most unecessary change. ucsd couldve put the money into smth better instead of making the lives of students harder

Anyone taking math classes? Professor Michael Holst is teaching 16 classes from calc to real analysis this fall? This must be a placeholder for classes with undecided instructors I presume? This can't be true lol

I'm surprised they didn't send a school-wide email yet to at least acknowledge TSS is not working and say they expect to have it working by x time. I don't know if I should just be sitting behind the screen until the site works because I'm worried if I step away, maybe it'll suddenly start working and seats will run out fast.

Good people of UCSD, after multiple tries, many error messages, opening and closing windows, disregarding error messages, 3 hours of cursing, crying, pleading—I finally booked 1 class. 😭😭😭

I got this error after hitting the "Book" button. I think they may have cancelled/delayed enrollment.

I think whoever planned out the rollout should be fired. From a cannon.

If we have got our enrollment appointment but aren't able to enroll because the system keeps crashing, and the class ends up filling before we're able to register, do we have any grounds to file a complaint

I appreciate UCSD acknowledging the new TSS issues which are preventing us from registering. I really love watching the number of seats drop as the courses fail to book!!!!

There's a first pass on 8/4, second pass in 8/19, and ANOTHER second pass in 9/12? So basically there are three appointment times? What's the point of having two second passes?

UCSD higher ups most likely do not look at or care about random online petitions. They are not going to get rid of TSS, but if we channel our efforts in a more realistic way, they might at least change it for the better. If you want to help, then fill out these surveys and give them your honest feedback.

Of course there is the very real possibility that the university doesn’t gaf about any of our concerns, but sharing your experiences through these surveys will be more direct and therefore more helpful than the whole change. org thing
