I speculate that Samsung drew inspiration from the OPPO Find N2 and HUAWEI Pura X Max in developing the Galaxy Z Fold 8, a foldable with a wider aspect ratio designed for richer multimedia experiences.

The new Samsung Galaxy Fold8 is amazing

Got a chance to attend the local preview last week and the Samsung Galaxy Fold8 (full hands-on here) is easily my favorite foldable so far.

  • Love the size. You can reach everything even with one hand esp kapag you're using the outer display.
  • 4:3 aspect ratio is more for the content and the multiasking
  • Still just as powerful as the pricier Fold8 Ultra if you con't mind having the dual cameras

The prices are steeper this year (fuck AI), but you can take advantage of the offers para makamura.

2nd Hand Steam Deck LCD

Hi! First Handheld pc ko to kapag nagkataon. Mga games na plano ko laruin sa ngayon ay Hoyoverse titles like Honkai: Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, Maybe ZZZ if available? Saka Grand Chase.

Or mag gaming tablet nalang ako?

Thanks!

Preordered the ZFold 8 Ultra!

Post image
3 Upvotes

Had a hard time deciding between ZFold 8 (Wide) and the Ultra especially di ko pa sila nahahawakan personally.

Medyo sad voucher offerings ngayon tapos di pa stackable. Also no free storage upgrade.

Anyway, decided to go with Ultra to replace my Fold 5.

Vouchers used:

- LS-PHGALAXYUNPACKED (Until July 23)

- Samsung Reservation+ Voucher (Php 2000 but worth Php 6000 when used)

And huhu the Samsung Reservation+ voucher doesnt stack pala with trade ins.

May iba pa bang vouchers na di konalam? Or eto nanba best possible deal? 🥲🥲

Hoping may ma squeeze pa na konting discount para ma check out na agad.

Is infinix gt 30 pro a good gaming phone for 2026-2030 service

Upvotes

Im planning on buying a decent phone for the price of 15-18k

The phone would only be a gaming phone and messenger at most

But mainly gaming

Im looking for a phone that at most can take codm on 120fps on ultra settings

And be smooth on other stuff like

Ml, terraria, Minecraft, roblox.

And I've seen the specs of gt 30 pro and it seems a perfect fit but im worried since i keep being told that

"It's a bad phone"

"Software is easily broken"

"Frequent crashes"

Ofcourse if its bad i might buy a poco x7 pro

or buy my coworkers f7 for 20k

Im just asking if its worth for its price cause if it is then im buying it including the fan cause im told without it it'll heat up.

2nd hand macbook seller recommendations

Upvotes

since there was a price hike on apple products, i've decided to go for a 2nd hand macbook instead, any recommendations aside sa fb marketplace or carousell? are there any trustworthy and reputable shops na nagbebenta ng 2nd hand macbooks na hindi pinalitan yung parts or boosted yung battery? medyo skeptical kasi ako sa greenhills since i've read a lot of negative stories about people who purchased their macbooks there.

janstore yung isa sa mga nakikita ko na nirerecommend, pero mukhang mas kilala sila sa windows laptops, meron bang nakabili na ng 2nd hand macbook sa kanila? if meron, kamusta naman po yung purchase niyo? wala naman po bang issue or anything kayong naencounter? and are there any other shops that are similar to janstore na trustworthy and reputable din? thank you po sa mga sasagot!

May wrong diagnosis yung repair shop.

Need daw palitan yung lcd. May downpayment akong binigay kasi need pa nila i-order yung parts.

After waiting for 1.5months saka pa lang dumating yung order. Flex cable is ok din. Nasa motherboard na raw yung sira and ayaw na nila galawin yung area na yun. So parang I waited for nothing.

Is this common sa tech industry? Like parang trial and error ang gawin?

water damaged iphone 14 repair

hello, i dropped my phone into water yesterday and it got fully submerged for about 5 seconds. i dried it out to the best of my ability, wiped it out, and shook out the water. pero that day i had an emergency so i had to override the warning not to charge while liquid is in the charging port and charged it for 30 mins and left the house. that night, nagka green screen/ flickering issue yung phone ko when i charged it again. i had assumed my phone was okay na. i tried drying out my phone again by leaving it in front of the aircon all night (na clear up naman yung moisture behind the camera lens) and everything, but the screen still flickers green. im now trying to put my phone in a tupperware with 2 silica gel packs.

should i get it checked at a repair shop or wait it out? and if so, whats the reasonable cost for getting this repaired? im a college student so i likely cannot afford more than 2k huhu. im no stranger rin naman to repair shops overcharging or acting like a repair issue is much worse than it really is to milk customers off their money. im hoping this only requires an internal clean out and drying, and not an extensive repair to the logic board/etc like google says

iPhone 17e or iPhone 16 for Mom

Halooo! Mom’s planning to upgrade from her iPhone 13 na gamit niya since 2021. Medyo mabagal na daw for her so I think due na rin talaga for replacement. 😅

Which one would you recommend : iPhone 17e 256GB (₱38.7k) or iPhone 16 128GB (₱43.5k)? Budget is around 45k.

Basic user lang naman siya. Messenger, Facebook, TikTok/YouTube, browsing, and taking casual photos.

Planning to keep the new phone for another 4–5 years din probably. Which one would be more practical and better long-term?

Thank you!

CPU Temp Spiking after Cleaning in Gilmore PC Hub

Hi! My Laptop's CPU has suddenly been spiking after a cleaning at PC Hub in Gilmore, and its been reaching a max at 96 degrees while only Google Chrome is running. Is this normal? The shop cleaned dust on my fans and added new thermal paste since it was my first time ever getting my Laptop checked. Previously it would stay at around 40 to 50 degrees, but it hasn't dropped from 60 degrees since opening. Should I bring it back sa shop? Thanks! Photo for reference:
