Guys let's try to be kind in this sub. Not everyone is techy.

2.3k Upvotes

I noticed one thing lately. Ang dami kong nakikitang rude redditors dito.

Bakit kayo rude? Dahil nabobobohan kayo sa mga nagtatanong? Matapang behind the keyboard lang ba? Ung iba valid naman and may point naman ung mga tanong and posts, grabe kung ibash. Kinagaling ninyo yan?

Not everyone is kasing galing ng iba or maalam talaga sa tech. Madami joined this sub for them to know what they didn't know.

It is easier to be kind rather than rude.

Report to me pag may mga ganitong redditors in this sub. Let's try to avoid making this a toxic space. Let's help each other as much as we can.

I speculate that Samsung drew inspiration from the OPPO Find N2 and HUAWEI Pura X Max in developing the Galaxy Z Fold 8, a foldable with a wider aspect ratio designed for richer multimedia experiences.

Was told to buy an Iphone instead of Oneplus at Digital Walker

A few weeks ago before Oneplus announced that they were leaving the international market, I bought the Oneplus 15 and its been a great phone so far. It was my final choice for my first flagship phone as it has all the features I need. But after I paid for it and while unboxing it at the store, one of the salesmen said something along the lines of 'Sa ganyang presyo, dapat nag iphone ka na lang.'

I know the base model Iphone 17 is around the same price as the Oneplus 15 but I really prefer android. Oneplus also has a bigger battery capacity. No hate towards Iphone tho, its UI and colors are really good. I just don't like unsolicited comments. In the end, I just told the salesman that I prefer android and left it at that.

Okay parin naman ang Digital Walker. Just a weird, one off experience.

Preordered the ZFold 8 Ultra!

Post image
9 Upvotes

Had a hard time deciding between ZFold 8 (Wide) and the Ultra especially di ko pa sila nahahawakan personally.

Medyo sad voucher offerings ngayon tapos di pa stackable. Also no free storage upgrade.

Anyway, decided to go with Ultra to replace my Fold 5.

Vouchers used:

- LS-PHGALAXYUNPACKED (Until July 23)

- Samsung Reservation+ Voucher (Php 2000 but worth Php 6000 when used)

The new Samsung Galaxy Fold8 is amazing

Got a chance to attend the local preview last week and the Samsung Galaxy Fold8 (full hands-on here) is easily my favorite foldable so far.

  • Love the size. You can reach everything even with one hand esp kapag you're using the outer display.
  • 4:3 aspect ratio is more for the content and the multiasking
  • Still just as powerful as the pricier Fold8 Ultra if you con't mind having the dual cameras

The prices are steeper this year (fuck AI), but you can take advantage of the offers para makamura.

Is infinix gt 30 pro a good gaming phone for 2026-2030 service

Im planning on buying a decent phone for the price of 15-18k

The phone would only be a gaming phone and messenger at most

But mainly gaming

Im looking for a phone that at most can take codm on 120fps on ultra settings

And be smooth on other stuff like

Ml, terraria, Minecraft, roblox.

And I've seen the specs of gt 30 pro and it seems a perfect fit but im worried since i keep being told that

"It's a bad phone"

"Software is easily broken"

"Frequent crashes"

Ofcourse if its bad i might buy a poco x7 pro

or buy my coworkers f7 for 20k

Im just asking if its worth for its price cause if it is then im buying it including the fan cause im told without it it'll heat up.

May iba pa bang vouchers na di konalam? Or eto nanba best possible deal? 🥲🥲

Hoping may ma squeeze pa na konting discount para ma check out na agad.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Specifications and Price in the Philippines

Post image
Upvotes

The Galaxy Z Fold 8, part of the newly-launched foldable devices, embraces a new, wider design compared to its predecessor, which leans more toward a narrow look. It features 5.5-inch (outer) and 7.6-inch (inner) displays, which come in 16:10 and 4:3 aspect ratios respectively, making it easier for videos to fill the entire screen.

Full specifications, price, and more details here: https://www.tekku.ph/2026/07/samsung-unveils-galaxy-z-fold-8-with.html

Looking for final-year students or recent graduates who are having a tough time landing high paying tech jobs.

Looking for final-year students or recent graduates who are having a tough time breaking into tech.

A friend and I are running an affordable interview prep and job search program. We've already helped 2/3 students land software roles, and we're now opening up a few more spots.

We're keeping it very low-cost because we're focused on helping more people get their foot in the door in this god awful market, not selling an expensive bootcamp.

If you're interested or just want to know what it includes, leave a comment or send me a DM. Happy to answer any questions because I know how intimidating it is to try to put yourself out there. Heres one of the people we were able to help.

May wrong diagnosis yung repair shop.

Need daw palitan yung lcd. May downpayment akong binigay kasi need pa nila i-order yung parts.

After waiting for 1.5months saka pa lang dumating yung order. Flex cable is ok din. Nasa motherboard na raw yung sira and ayaw na nila galawin yung area na yun. So parang I waited for nothing.

Is this common sa tech industry? Like parang trial and error ang gawin?
