Is this a cheat?
The guy scans my base and then this happens.

I met some of the worst people online in this game
Turns out you can run out of space in the blocked players list and the mute button is only available for allies in team games.
Intern, we need mute unlocked for enemies.

This patch is killing PvP
A lot has already been said about this patch and how bad it is, but I really want to focus on one matchup in particular: PvP
PvP had actually evolved into a really great place. MaxPax popularized the one-gate expand, two-gate expands were still a solid option, and of course there were always the one-base shenanigans. There was real diversity in the early game, and different openings felt genuinely viable.
In my opinion, the best PvP has ever been was when the Shield Battery Overcharge ("super battery") was still in the game. I understand it created problems in the other matchups, but if you look at PvP in isolation, it was phenomenal. It enabled a wide variety of expansion builds and rewarded good decision-making instead of forcing everyone down the same path.
Fast forward to today, and those one-gate expand builds are basically gone. You just can't reliably hold your natural anymore. Maybe it would be different if we had more maps with ramps leading into the natural, but these maps weren't designed around the current balance. Honestly, nothing really was.
That's what makes the current state of PvP so disappointing to me. It feels like we've lost so much of what made the matchup fun. Instead of having multiple viable openings and interesting strategic choices, the matchup feels far more constrained than it used to..

Balance Whiney D2 Zerg
I know that 6 games isnt really enough for a new patch, but z v t went from my favorite matchup to this. My one win against terran was an auto leave. can we have the larva buff back already?

Early game scouting against Terran?
Any tips for early scouting in PvT? I can get a quick probe in to at least check for something like a proxy, but then the door's shut until I can send a hallucinated phoenix in.
Is there anything else I could/should be doing in that time to check for early aggression (or anything else)?

Random question but why did all my SP get wiped from Lottery Defence in the arcade?
There’s a custom game called Lottery Defence and it took me a long time to acquire 100,000 special points used for upgrades and purchases in the game and I’ve been away a while and went back and found out it’s been wiped away. I can’t find a reason why. I don’t expect to get it back but i would like an explanation.

Looking for group [EU] Looking for 2v2/3v3/4v4 Mates
I'm around 4k MMR on EU server (Zerg main) and would love to have mates to play 2v2 / 3v3 / 4v4 with! I'm up for whatever playstyle your prefer, nothing wrong with cheesing together, timing attacks or defensive playstyle to 200/200 carriers.

hacker
Just played a 4v4 on the EU servers and got absolutely destroyed one second after loading in. Checked the enemy team one by one and yep, caught a hacker. Anyone else recognize this guy?

Protoss, how would you counter this build?
I play as terran D3. I hate storms, so i decided i will do my best to discover mech vs protoss. For now i play Helion cyclone banshee and it seems work, but only because my enemies have no idea how to play against this. They seem to panic. Last one made collosuses, next archonts and in the end made even void ray.
How would you counter this composition?

Ladder cheaters
Of course, reporting them does nothing. So I'll write it here. MiyawkiSkura<LSFM> just reached 7,000 MMR by kicking everyone out of the game at 0:00. Now he's joining all the automatic tournaments and doing the same thing. Not only that, but he’s deliberately lowering his unranked MMR to 3,000- so he can smurf with a Master rank frame while maintaining his 7,000 MMR.
The second type uses a slightly different method: Visrix<USDDay> plays only tournament matches; when the countdown starts before entering a match, you’re automatically eliminated—unless you have significantly lower MMR than him, in which case he’ll win because he wants to reach his coveted Diamond 2 that way. He has currently 1000+ trophies.
I don’t even want to think about how low they’ve sunk—it doesn’t matter. Blizzard is enabling this, and they should finally do something about it. I also saw another abuser on Serral’s stream; Serral lost a few games in a row that way. I mean, Blizzard, it's embarrasing.

Balance 4v4 is now unplayable because of this cheater
I'm referring to this post. Just "lost" two games in a row. Instant kick everone then force collective replay mode. People can even communicate with others with "observer" tag after. Weirdly enough. he was in "defeat" team second time, probably lowering mmr or something.
Of course i reported, but nobody cares as usual.

Patch Notes
I've played starcraft2 since around 2018. I love the game, I used to stream it. the community is awesome, I've met so many people who were so helpful learning the game. Build orders are fun to learn, the game feels so rewarding to play. At least it used to.
These new patches feel like they're made by someone who watches the game once a week and never plays it. At first I was excited, these are big changes, it was cool to see the game get something new. I didn't agree with all of them, the 8 worker start especially feels like a step backwards, but whatever, I thought "ok, less stuff in the early game" but no, not really, just 45 extra seconds of making workers. Extra larva, cool? Didnt need that but okay. Widow mines attack faster and medivac insta-pickup? What? What are they going for? Accessibility? The game being difficult is a big part of the appeal, it feels super rewarding to do technical things one after another, why are we taking those away?- 25% cost reduction to Command Centers?? Another ghost buff? What is the goal? the mineral and gas changes I'm quite fine with, but that could have been it. We could have just done that and seen how massively different the game was.
It really just feels like this game is being patched at the whim of a twitch chatter. It's all over the place and with no stated goal in mind afaik. the more changes they make the less I understand what the direction is supposed to be. I genuinely don't think the person making the changes is a part of the community at all. This game is ruined and I don't think I can play it anymore. Watching tournaments is different now too. While I appreciate high level micro, the end result of most macro matches seems wrong. These players are being robbed and their livelihood is being toyed with.
I don't even feel like I can make suggestions to fix any of this without knowing wtf they're going for.
I would love to see a patch notes that reads:
Haha, whoops, sorry everyone! We thought it would be funny to have the CoD and Sc2 balance teams trade places in the office. It was pretty funny, while it lasted, but all good things must come to an end.
-Starting worker count increased from 8 to 12.
-Everything else reverted too.
-"Normal Speed" ladder added for the players who wanted a slower game.
- Cheers! Sc2 Balance team.
Idk its just frustrating to spend so long learning this game and then just have it be ripped up and thrown aside without explanation. I literally never post, I don't really engage with the community anymore as I've just been busy with other things in life the last few years, but I felt the need to share my feelings. This shit is ridiculous. Oh and vespene.gg is really cool, too bad its come at the 2nd worst time(hots swarm hosts) in sc2's life!
