I'd like to start by saying I'm not trying to push my religion onto others. The reason I made this app is because my very young niece picked up The Bible to read for the first time, and she found it way to hard to understand. I was already working on the app, but it was mostly like, you could put verses on your homescreen thru widgets or schedule praying time.

Seeing her struggle, I realised many people find this hard, so I integrated a function that lets you talk to The Bible directly. Any questions on what something means, any confusions, anything. You can even ask for advice and it answers the way The Bible would.

The app is already up and running on App Store, but it's been up for so long with barely any users. not sure if the app's the problem or my targeting, and whichever of the two it is, I would love your insights and a push to make it better. check it out here and please let me know! That seems like the move but it also feels risky and like you could end up banned or just being some annoyance that is spamming self-promo all over.

I have been building YoCAD, a tool that turns a text prompt or a photo into a real parametric CAD model instead of a static mesh. Working joints, live dimension sliders, animation, all from one prompt. The demo is an unofficial concept of the OpenAI x Work Louder macropad. Every keycap presses on its own slider joint, the knob spins, the joystick tilts. The generator named the keys as musical pitches, so pressing them plays actual piano notes.

The output is a program, not a blob: dimensions are draggable parameters, and you can pin any part and type a change to edit just that part. An LLM writes the model, an analytic CAD kernel verifies geometry, joints, and collisions.

  Still needs more work for manufacturing, it is a concept and a starting point today.

Two weeks ago this folder was empty. The EU AI Act's Article 50 applies from August 2 — any AI chatbot talking to EU visitors must disclose it's AI, at the first interaction. Fines up to €15M/3%.

So I built https://article50ready.com/, it detects 35+ chat/AI widgets (Intercom, Tidio, Chatbase…) and tells you if the disclosure duty applies. Free, no signup.

For the launch I scanned 495 major EU sites: only 14 expose a detectable chat widget in their HTML (big brands hide everything behind tag managers), and 0 of those 14 show any AI-disclosure text. Sixteen days before the law applies, compliance is basically invisible.

We offer one-time €29 pack (disclosure widget in all 24 EU languages + transparency age + evidence PDF). Merchant of record handles VAT.

Every trend piece this year says solo founders can now do what used to take a team. AI-first, no investors, no crew.

Then a potential client asks who's on my team, and the honest answer is nobody, it's just me.

Some go quiet after that. Doesn't matter how good the work is once they hear "solo."

Weird gap. The narrative says solo is the new normal. The actual buying behavior sometimes says a team still equals trust.

Not sure if that's a perception problem I need to fix or just a filter that saves me from clients who were never going to be a good fit anyway.

Every budgeting app I tried had the same shape: track everything you spend, and whatever survives to the end of the month — that's your saving. For me that number was always zero. Tracking doesn't cause saving; it just documents the failure.

So I spent the last months building Basis around the inverse. The idea is old — older than apps: pay yourself first. On payday, your savings rate comes off the top like a bill. What's left is what you budget, split across categories you define. At the end of the month nothing settles silently: you close the period yourself, and every overspent category gets an explicit decision: cover it from savings, or carry it into next month so that category starts tighter. The closing ritual is the feature. It's the difference between an app that tracks saving and an app that causes it.

Some things it deliberately doesn't have:

• No bank connection. You log expenses in two taps, or point the camera at a receipt — the amount is read on-device and the image never leaves your phone.
• No account, no cloud, no analytics. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected". Your data exports to CSV any time; no lock-in.
• No subscription, no ads, no IAP. Free forever.

The honest answer to "what's the catch": there's no server, so Basis costs me nothing to run. I'm 17, this is my portfolio working in public before I've ever had a real paycheck, and if the app is good, that's the payment.

I’m noticing a lot of posts by people have vibe coded an “app” and are struggling to get users so they turn to Reddit. Asking for advice on how to break through to their first pool of users.
The tone is one of expectation & befuddlement … “I made a subscription based tool that does like 1 or 3 things… why aren’t people paying me like they pay Netflix every month?”
I was under the impression that subscription fatigue had settled in long ago and single use tools were not viable for wide adoption (ie: $2.99 a month for a browser extension that organizes your browser history into a summary for you.)
So my question is “What gave these aspiring entrepreneurs the idea that this model was a sure fire path to $$$$?” Are there “experts” on TikTok touting some miracle method for successful vibe coding saas, targeting young people?
I’m not trying to be mean about it, just feels like a lot of these kids (many I’ve seen are literal teenagers) have been misled about the realities of the landscape right now, and how to launch an effective product.

I've been building Movidmo, a free tool for creating video ads, social posts, and marketing images, mostly by myself for a few years now. You can start from a template, build from scratch, or describe what you want in plain language and let the AI Video Generator or AI Image Generator put something together — pulling stock media, mood-matched music, and animation automatically. Templates also handle wide, square, and vertical export automatically, so one design works across platforms without manual resizing.

I've built basically all of it myself — the editor, the caption/animation engine, the template system, and more recently the AI generation pipeline. I also ended up carving a couple of standalone pieces out as free tools in their own right, like a Blob Maker for procedurally generated organic shapes.

Honestly, the hardest part of this whole project hasn't been the building — I've genuinely enjoyed most of that. It's been getting it in front of people who might actually find it useful. I'm a developer first, not a marketer, so if anyone here has been through the same thing, I'd be curious how you approached it.

· Un analizador de tráfico de red en Java. Lo pensé más para mí: es una herramienta útil cuando tenés dudas de por qué el WiFi va lento o qué está pasando en tu red.

· Un monitor de integridad de archivos en C++ que detecta cambios no autorizados en carpetas vigiladas, usando SHA-256 para verificar la integridad de cada archivo.

Pero el proyecto más grande es un ecosistema al que llamé Nexus. La idea era crear agentes automatizados que funcionen desde una terminal y se comuniquen entre sí. Hasta ahora tengo:

· Nexus Terminal: un panel de control visual con estética retro (CRT) que muestra el estado de los agentes, misiones y eventos.

· Nexus Agent Management API: el cerebro del sistema, una API REST hecha en Java con Spring Boot.

· Nexus Scraper: el primer agente funcional, que recibe misiones de scraping, las ejecuta con Playwright y reporta los resultados.

Todo está conectado: el panel muestra en tiempo real lo que hacen los agentes.

I sell digital products on Etsy, and the part that always killed me wasn't making the product — it was everything after: writing a title that actually ranks, filling all 13 tags, writing a description, and making mockups that don't look like garbage. Every listing was 1–3 hours, so I'd make five and burn out.

So I built PromptlessPress. You pick a product type and describe the vibe, and it generates the actual product designs, a set of mockups, and the full listing kit (SEO title, 13 tags, description, materials) — the whole thing in about a minute. The goal was never "AI slop" — it's built around real Etsy SEO rules (multi-word tags, buyer-phrase titles, character limits) and each listing comes out unique instead of the same template with the words swapped.

Stack, quickly: Supabase (Postgres + edge functions) on the backend, a pipeline of image models for the designs/mockups, and a compositing layer so the product actually sits in a scene correctly. The mockup realism was by far the hardest part.

It's live and I've been running my own shop through it. Two things I'd genuinely love feedback on:

1. For anyone selling anything with listings/SEO — what part of your launch process would you most want automated?

2. For the mockups: is "fast and good enough" more valuable to you than "slow but perfect"? I keep going back and forth.

We kept seeing researchers spend hours building baseline characteristics tables and making avoidable choices around mean versus median, missing data, and p-values. So we built a free Table 1 generator for clinical datasets.

You can paste a dataset or upload an Excel or CSV file, select a grouping variable, and export the result to Word, PDF, or reproducible R code. The tool chooses mean with SD or median with IQR based on the variable distribution. It can also select an appropriate test for each variable.

All calculations run locally inside the browser. The dataset is never uploaded or stored. A verified email address is required to unlock the finished table.

I make software and i found making promo, tutorial or demo videos was really time consuming; screen recording, editing, redoing it all when the UI changes etc. I've currently built a pipeline that generates them from the product itself - rendering the real UI (actual components, actual deisgn tokens) so the video is pixel perfect and re renders are relatively easy. ive found this so useful, especially for those really pushing their marketing and needing new promo videos daily.

Hi all, I just wanter to check something before I start building. Have you ever had a need to quickly make a video project like you can do in Clideo, but without annoying watermarks, registration etc. Just a video editor in browser where nothing is sent over? Is it an idea worth pursuing?

I built a Saju reader, based on the Korean branch of Four Pillars. The chart calculation is deterministic. AI helps turn it into a readable report, and I review the result before replying.

I want to test it with people who don't already know the system. I'll read a few charts here for free. I'd rather answer one question properly than give you a vague summary of everything.

Saju is a traditional interpretive framework, not a scientific assessment. I'll start with a few and work through them as I have time.

Between everything else I do tinker with new tools and make sure I understand their limits in case they are useful for a specific reason.

I previously wrote off the AI Studio 'vibe like' app creator but I revisited it and this took maybe 3 separate sessions. The part that took the most time was getting the local Gemini model to massage the picture of a short I take and overlay it on a mockup.

In the next 2 weeks google is going to allow for more of these to go into the play store so expect a sloppy influx, but I was impressed that I could side load straight to my device and even push the project code to antigravity or git straight from a browser.

Oh this is just an app that lets me scan my way too many shirts then makes a slot machine to pick one. Not a bad concept, could be improved. I made sure that everything is stored in a way that I can "reprocess" the captures later. I only did it as I had to pull a draw completely out and fix the draw bottom.

App store screenshots are such a weird final boss. You finish the app, then spend a day nudging phones around Figma and learning that Google wants 1024×500 for reasons known only to Google.

So I built Storeboard. Give it a URL, screenshot, or description and it makes exact-size App Store and Play sets, plus the listing copy. I also added a full-size preview because downloading every image just to squint at it felt silly.

Small annoyance that turned into a project: every time I opened a new AI chat to keep working on something, I'd spend the first five minutes re-explaining what I'd already told it yesterday.

So I built SAIPEN — a project keeps three small markdown files (what phase of work it's in, a ticket board, a log of what happened), and any AI session reads them and just continues. No more "let me catch you up."

I have a side project that's a text-based, LLM-powered RPG. It's entirely text, with no graphics at all. It turned out to be a real problem the moment I tried to make any video content to promote it. It's surprisingly hard to put together a compelling clip when all you have is words on a screen.

So I ended up building a second thing to solve the first thing: https://motiontext.video. It takes stills, screenshots etc and turns them into actual video. It has a lot of cool features, this video is showing off the new parallax effect but it also has a built in stock-image and music library and a fully featured MCP server. It's fully usable manually or with AI but IMO the killer workflow is having AI layout the basic timeline and then tweaking the effects and text placements manually.

It's still early and a little rough in places, but I figured it might be useful to others here, especially anyone building something that doesn't have obvious visuals to show off. Happy to answer any questions.

I've been working on a local-first office suite and finally got it to a point where I think it's worth sharing.

The idea is pretty simple: an office app that doesn't send your files anywhere and work cross platform via the Chrome Browser as an Extension.

It runs entirely on your computer (even though it's browser-based), so there's:

• no cloud
• no account
• no telemetry
• no server

You can literally open DevTools → Network, use the app, and see that nothing gets uploaded. The only network request is if you choose to activate the optional Pro license.

It handles:

• PDFs (merge, edit text, forms, redact, sign, password protect, etc.)
• Word documents (.docx)
• Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx/.csv with formulas, charts, pivot tables)
• PowerPoint presentations (.pptx)

Everything works offline, and your files never leave your device. I originally built it because I just wanted a light weight PDF editor and it just grows into an entire suite. I published it a couple of days and it has gotten a bunch of downloads. I'd genuinely love feedback from people who just want an alternative to web-based office suites.
