I also recently saw a post that someone got sent an empty box and their package weighted 0.3kg. Mine was 0.2kg, guess it shows how light titanium is.

Not much to complain so far. However I notice the bracelet has a little play at end links and lugs, prob needs to swap out spring bars as I’ve seen post floating around about this.

Just received my ZF BB58 Blue and thought I’d share an unboxing video.

Ordered from Necoclock, got QC pics within a couple of days, gave the GL, and received the watch in less than a week.

Overall, I’m super impressed with both the rep and Necoclock's service. I’ve ordered my share of reps from various dealers, but this is the first time I’ve immediately approved a QC. Necoclock seems to do a fantastic job of pre-screening and weeding out bad reps before bringing them to QC review.

The ZF BB58 is truly NWBIG. I've found no flaws in this example and it's currently running at +/- 1 sec/day.

I see VS have rolled out their latest iteration of the Datejust 41, up $48, up 1.5mm in thickness, down a visible regulator. I know a lot of people don't care about the movement in a closed case watch, I'm in the school that prefers accuracy regardless, however I'm not a fan of increased thickness.

Either way, hiding the regulator still leaves a tell without microstella screws and at 13mm thick it makes a big difference on the wrist, particularly in a watch like the Datejust.

What are your thoughts, upgrade or downgrade?

I’m currently falling down the PP Nautilus (5711) rabbit hole. The deeper I go, the more I fall in love with it. And now, surprise surprise, I absolutely need one lol.

Right now, it seems like DDF (or VF, if you can still find one) is the best version for the 5711, while PPF takes the crown for the 5712. Back in the day, 3KF used to be the king and was (or still is) the go to base for modding.

But here’s what I’m currently debating: Do the latest top-tier factories (DDF, BBF, PPF, …) even need to be modded anymore? And if so, what exactly is still worth changing?
Opinions here on Reddit and RWI are completely split. Group A claims you absolutely must mod certain things. (For example: SW Dial, hands and date wheel, first link mod, shortened crown mod, bezel, case, and bracelet refinishing, polished, and chamfered).
Group B, however, argues that this is old news. People used to mod their 3KFs like crazy back in the day, but they claim that with the latest top-factory (DDF, PPF) releases for the 5711/5712, these mods have become pretty much redundant.

So, what’s the consensus as of today? Should I just buy one OOTB from a TD, or should I go through a modder right away and get the full treatment?

For me, it’s mostly about the visual appearance on the wrist.
I know there are movement mods and solid gold rotors out there, but that’s honestly overkill for me. I only care about the initial „look“ when you see the watch on the wrist.

I’m curious to hear your opinions and suggestions. Feel free to drop pics of your 5711s/5712s too (OOTB or fully modded).

I wanted to check with the community if anyone has heard reliable news about whether the 3CF factory is shutting down or experiencing a temporary closure.

I've been trying to secure a piece, and while one dealer tells me it's coming soon in small batches, PureTime explicitly told me that the watch is out of stock because the factory is shut down.

Has anyone else received similar information from their TDs, or know what is actually going on with 3CF right now?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks to this forum I am now addicted to this hobby. What started with a Rolex Datejust 41 a few weeks ago has already grown to a Bell & Ross and a Cartier Santos. I fancied a nice summer watch and the Tudor Lagoon black bay 54 caught my eye. I got it delivered today. It’s a good looking thing but sadly my QC skills must have been well off as even allowing for ZF’s hit and miss with dial alignments, the 6 notch really is pretty skewed on this one.

A real shame.

Have many of you ever had any regretful GLs or purchases of reps? Lesson learnt and still early in my rep journey.

My 1st rep in years. My buddy is a pilot so I got this from Shanghai the “dealer” gave the choice of clean factory or vs factory. She said VS is best for this piece. I have owned a few gen “higher end pieces” a speedy pro, bb58 and have an old school Sinn 356. For what I paid I feel i have gotten my money’s worth. Is it perfect? Nope, is it close enough? I think so. What are your thoughts?

Love this watch. Need to find more reasons to wear it. Always seems a bit too fancy for my outfit... but sometimes you just gotta go with it.

After seeing so many of these on here I decided to pull the trigger. So glad I did!

I might get downvoted for asking this, but I’m genuinely curious. I’ll be a physician soon and will easily be able to afford a genuine luxury watch. That said, I honestly think replicas are a much better financial decision. Instead of spending the extra money on a gen, I’d rather invest it in stocks, travel, or other experiences.

So I’m wondering , what goes through your mind if your doctor is wearing a replica watch? Would it change your opinion of them, make you less likely to trust or see that doctor, or would you not care at all? I’m interested in hearing different perspectives.
