💰 Finance Talk Once you’ve hit $837,300, you’ll be earning more than the median household passively!
Seen another way it’s as if a whole American household gave you their entire annual income for the rest of their lives. Isn’t it surprising you don’t even need a million dollars to own a median household via modern slavery?
The math is investments give you 10% annual returns nominally, and the median household income in America is $83.7k.
Once you have that amount, you could metaphorically say “I own you” to half of the people you cross. Feudalism never ended, it just got abstracted away enough such that the average person doesn’t understand it anymore and won’t rebel.
