My first big pull ever!

Bit of a random question but I was wondering if theres anywhere you can see artwork that Pokémon card artists have done but never actually got used on a card?

I’m guessing they must make loads of different artwork or ideas that never end up getting printed and I bet there’s some really cool artwork out there that just never got used!

Okay so the last time I looked into Pokemon cards was probably about 25 years ago but have kept interest in the games and am looking to get into the hobby.

I see there are so many different sets to choose from, where do I even begin?

Is a top loader binder considered the best way preserve your cards these days?

As of now I’m currently collecting all my cards in Vault X binder with penny sleeves. I have some pretty high end cards and am starting to consider switching to a top loader binder.

The only reason I’m the fence is, imo top loader binders are very bulky and are a little less aesthetically pleasing to look at when flipping through the pages. I take care of my cards and am very careful handling them when I use my Vault x binder.

But, I wanna hear some opinions on the best way people are preserving their PCs currently?

I've been picking up playing on Live again and redid my Marnie's Grimmsnarl deck, I forgot how much fun it is. Felt compelled to draw how I imagine the interaction between Munkidori and Froslass!

(For folks who don't play, Froslass does damage to Munkidori, but Munkidori has an ability that lets you move that damage to your opponent's Pokémon, which can be pretty powerful when played right.)

Side note, if anyone has tips on how (or even if you can) win against Dragapult-Dusknoir with Grimmsnarl-Froslass, I would love to hear it!

I was going through some of my vintage cards just checking them out and saw the back of this wooper card, i can’t remember where i got it from and was wondering if anyone knew what this back was? from my brief google search it seems like a Japanese exclusive? or i’m being naive and it’s actually fake lol

I haven’t dabbled in cards for a long time before recently getting back into collecting Pokemon again.

I have A TON of vintage baseball and basketball cards that are slabbed.

Is there a site where there’s a marketplace to trade slabbed cards Pokemon or otherwise?

I essentially want to trade some of my vintage baseball and basketball for either sealed ETBs or Pokemon slabs and I have no idea where I can do that
