This ring around my mouth drives me crazy. Don’t wanna do filler because I know it will migrate with all the movement. It’s not even really smile lines, it goes around my whole mouth. Orbiculus oris muscle I believe.

I have been thinking for a few years about getting tear trough/under eye fat transfer. For reference I’m wanting to look similar to 3rd photo.

I’ve had tear trough filler once 3 ml, and it didn’t really improve them much so I won’t be doing that again or recommending it.
Has anyone on here had a fat transfer procedure before? Doesn’t have to be under eyes just in general wanting to hear more patient experiences.

3 months post op, very satisfied with the results.

I hve super sunken and hollow eyes, I have my whole life. Along with that comes the dark circles and eye bags. The eye bags are really starting to come on now. I cannot stand looking at them anymore, and cannot imagine what they will look like in just a few more years. My only problem is being afraid I will look more hollow than I am. I am hoping fat reposition with a skin pinch will help restore my confidence. I know my undereyes probably won’t be 100%, but any sort of improvement will help me. The photos are misleading bc you can’t really see the bag, but I do have one. Just wanted to show how hollow I am, I just have huge eye sockets unfortunately. Anyone else with sunken/deep set eyes have a lower bleph with fat repositioning and not look worse? I have a consult with Dr Vrcek in September, just would love to hear experience from others. I hate my deep set eyes so much. Included pics of me smiling so you could see how sunken,at rest to see how prominent and long th tear trough is, and the last one is me just barely pulling on the skin to show how the tear trough and darkness goes away. Ideally my end goal.

For anyone who has had plastic surgery how has your life changed since the surgery. Do people treat you better? Did you see people finding you more attractive?

EDIT: thank you for the comments. I wanted to go for surgeries years ago because I wanna be more attractive and I am not totally content on how I look. People tell me it's about confidence, that looks won't bring me more attraction and to get therapy. While I got therapy; i am still not happy on how few attraction I can make and the way I look. That's why I made this thread, and the comment confirmed what I thought.

I am listening to your guys advice! So initially I was going to get a nose job but people told me to do my jaw because that’s the biggest source of my imbalance! Didn’t even realize until I saw a difference with filler. I’m not getting jaw surgery, and the surgeon said I didn’t need it unless it was strictly for aesthetic purposes. The recovery is too much BUT I am getting a sliding genioplasty.

I also inquired about my mid face. He mentioned wanting to do BOTH fat graft and lower bleph but I can do one or the other, too. However he thinks both would look great.

Wondering if I really need both.
Which will be more sustainable long term?
I am curious on other people’s experiences of those procedures.
I know the fat graft has a likelihood of resorption.

Hello all, I’ve always had an issue breathing, I only breathe out of one nose nostril and I can see an obvious bent/crookedness in my nose from the outside. I believe I have a deviated septum which I know this is solved with a septoplasty in some cases but I want to ask, does a crooked/bent in the nose as well as breathing issues in the nose possibly mean that a Septorhinoplasty is needed? I was thinking a septoplasty might not be enough because of the bent on the outside. I know a diagnosis isn’t enough from online and I understand I must visit a ENT to check it out. But if anyone has any past experience please let me know. Thanks.

Hello! I was hoping to see some examples of small breast implants, as this is my goal. Last year I had a lift with implants that was disastrous, 285cc was way too big for my skin to handle on top of the lift and the t junctions never closed. I ended up in the hospital for a week with an infection and required explant at 6wpo in January. My surgeon offered to cover the cost of implants and surgery if I were to reimplant with him. I’m still debating, as now I’m more aware of what the risks could be, but I’d have much less risk going smaller (small and natural had always been my goal anyway with a smaller frame of 5’2 105 lb). My follow up is in September so I’m prepping to start making more of a decision and I’d love to see people who opted for small implants in the 100-low 200cc range. Drop ya pics :))) ty

pretty much everyone’s worst fear but it happened to me with my third round of filler. it was a super small amount, actually the smallest amount I’ve had injected and this was the time it happens. I’ve basically been in a total panic the last week recovering from the experience of it all and scared it hasn’t fully resolved (despite appearance improving) because I’m just so on edge. if you have any questions about it I’m happy to answer. I was repeatedly dismissed for days about it over the phone til I decided to show up in their office to have it actually assessed in person by the team there which they determined it looked not right and had to dissolve immediately until my blood flow restored quicker. My face looks botched and uneven now but I refuse to ever get any more filler now as I’m absolutely horrified by this whole thing

My upper eyelid feels extremely heavy. It does block my vision a bit tbh. I am 21 female.

For reference, the last 5 photos are from when I was 18 and granted i am wearing a lot of eye makeup in those, I still feel a big difference. Plus my screen time has been crazy (all because of my desk job and college). I do rub my eyes a lot, and my sleep schedule is rather erratic since I do most of my college work at night.

I know it’s super early to be considering surgery but I want to mention I don’t mind any of the easily fixable issues like dark circles and pigmentation. I don’t mind the tear trough either, what I do mind is that my upper eyelid feels extremely heavy. And I have to raise my eyebrows a lot which gives me a headache. I don’t think I am “aging” yet, the rest of my face is fine but it feels like my upper eyelids just don’t have the strength that they used to.

Maybe this is just my natural hooded eyes anatomy clicking in with age, but I have been super worried for a while now because even in the 3rd and 4th pictures, I am putting effort to keep my eyes more open than it naturally is (that is not my neutral gaze except in the first and second picture)

I have also noticed that my eyes have sunk in a lot (ik the screens have to do with that), do yall know if this will get fixed if I reduce my screen time (not that I can, my boss won’t let me :/

I need some help. I am 5'6 and weigh 145- 155 lbs. I think my BMI is around 24.4, and I have so many questions. I wanted to know if anyone with a similar body type/ problem can help me. I want to get a BBL around May, mainly to balance my silhouette because I have broad shoulders/wide ribcage and narrow hips. I don't really have much hip dips; just narrow hips? I’ve been really insecure about my side profile for a while now. I know I have a recessed chin and have considered many options, but I’m finding it hard to pinpoint exactly what would improve my profile. I have noticed it seems worse when smiling.

I have considered chin filler to test this before looking into more permanent options, e.g. chin implant or sliding genioplasty.

I have previously had braces when I was younger but I lost my retainers and stupidly didn’t replace them at the time and now it’s too late. So I have considered getting braces again but I’m unsure how much this would correct my bite as I may be too old (27?)
To be honest, I’m not sure how much it improved my bite before but I believe it was better than it is now.

I am also in the process of losing weight, I’m currently at a BMI of 22/23, however even at a lower BMI this was something I struggled with so I know it is not just body fat that is the issue.

Hi guys, I'm new to this and I wanted to get some advice from those who have gone through it. A little background on me: I just turned 20 and am on a weight loss journey. So far, I've lost 60 pounds through a mix of GLP-1s, dieting, and exercising. This process has taken over three years. I am still working on myself every day, but being heavy still after that much weight loss has affected my life in ways that I never expected. I'm young and going into my junior year of college, and although I think I'm pretty, I know the weight and extra skin have affected my confidence a bit.

In my mind, these are my hottest years, and having skin so stretchy and covered with stretch marks has affected how I show up. My arms have a very visible hang to them and I can pull my skin around 3 inches out. My breasts are small, but droopy and covered in stretch marks. My stomach and legs have almost a ripple effect of skin. Besides the physical appearance, the itching and chafing have been hard to deal with as well; my arms have been the worst, and I find myself itching my arms multiple times a day and trying to find ways to stop skin tags from popping up.

I still have about 60 pounds left to lose, and during this upcoming year, I've decided to be really intentional about hitting my protein goals, laying off partying, and committing to a personal Pilates studio 3–4 days a week. My goal within the next year is to move forward with a lower body lift and circumferential refinement, an arm lift (#1 priority), and a breast augmentation.

Regarding my family, they are encouraging me to have it done after I lose the rest of the weight. They want to cover the cost of the full body lift and the arm lift. I would be on my own for the breast augmentation, but I have saved for years, plus I have a year-long paid internship for my junior year.

The only person who is against it is my therapist. I've suffered with a food addiction for years prior to the weight loss. My heaviest was 280 pounds at 16, and my lightest was 200 pounds. I moved to Europe last semester, and my recent weight gain is alcohol- and partying-related, so I am now at 220. My therapist thinks I should wait 7–10 years before I do any surgery. I understand her reasoning completely: we should get the food addiction out of the way and prove stability for many years before we move forward with the surgery. Although I understand it, it's hard for me to digest.

In a way, I just want to feel beautiful. I have an amazing group of gorgeous friends who are all thinner. I feel beautiful when I'm around them, but insecure in public. I know I am the odd one out; this has been shown to me throughout the years. From being rejected by their sororities because they only ordered bid day T-shirts in size small (I'm not kidding either—this was told to me by my tutor, who is on executive board), to my stupid on-campus crushes ignoring me and talking to my friends. (Don't judge my friends; I don't communicate crushes with them because I already know I'm normally not the guys' type, and I don't think it's fair to ruin a potential relationship for my friends.)

I'm insecure about it and blame my body. Although I don't want to do this to get a guy or prove my worth. I have good friendships in my life, an active social circle, and good grades. I just want to feel like a normal college kid, not one with body wrinkles, or small boobs that touch her horizontal belly button.

I would love any advice you all have, whether it's plastic surgery-related, weight loss tips to push past a setback, or just general life advice or an additional perspective. I am open to all of it.

I am bearly on week 3 and I feel like much of the swellness compared to the beginning (especially the upper cleavage) has gone down but I was loving the way it looked before. Like I mentioned I am bearly on week 3 and I’m scared that by the time they do settle I regret the size. For reference I am 5’3 117 lbs. I did 295cc dual plane. I got lip filler-this is my day 3. It is my third time getting it. I usually bruise badly and swell but this time with different doctor i barely have 1 bruise, swelling went down a lot real quick and no pain (usually i have pain followinf days). My lips were verya assymeyrical before so I added 0.6ml, 0.7ml and now 0.5ml over 8 months to get desired results.
When I move my lips a certain way like sideways i feel like a ball under my lip not in it. And now i looked carefully and in that position I can even see it. Otherwise when speaking smilining talikng whatever it is not visible at all. No pain, no disscomfort. I felt it there since day 1 but i assumed it is cause i just had filler and lips always feel weird after filler.
I am so worried it will stay there, is there a possibility this is just swelling because i only had 0.1ml split into both halfs in my bottom lip. I reached out to my doctor but he is not in town and told me that bumps may happen and to massage. I am so scared it will stay there but last 2 times i had filler i guess my lips looked wonked the first week always and got to normal look after so idk if i am freaking for nothing.

I’m 3 weeks post-op with 295cc dual plane implants. I’m 5’3” and 117 lbs. The swelling, especially in my upper cleavage, has gone down a lot compared to the first week, and I actually loved how they looked then. Now I’m worried I chose too small of an implant since they have gone down significantly and worried they will keep getting smaller.
