The ad you can’t skip sa impeachment.
Still the #1 senator sa survey, not surprising since fresh pa panalo. Gustong gawing VP pa ng mga DDS.

The master of contradictions.

“Harapin mga kaso” sabi sa mga NBI agents at kay Trillanes pero tinago at pinatakbo si Bato.

“Huwag one sided” daw and prosect pero nakakalimutang yun ang trabaho nila.
Sila na senator judges ang one side defense senators.

“Mga sinungaling” mga pabago bagp sinasabi pero go kay APC, 18 bagmen at sa sarili nya na nakailang palit na ng pusisyon. double standards lagi.

PoliticsPH NEWS UPDATE: Sen. Panfilo "Ping" Lacson flagged at least two suspected ghost infrastructure projects in Taguig City, the political bailiwick of Senate Minority Leader Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano.

Sen. Lacson, citing initial findings by his team, also noted there was a staggering number of slope protection and drainage projects—most of them costing P100 million each—with a combined value of some P2.085 billion.

Earlier, Sen. Lacson said their initial findings include projects involving firms owned by the Discayas but implemented by another contractor under a 5% royalty scheme, and other similar projects contracted to Topnotch Catalyst Builders, which is among the top 15 flood control project contractors announced by President Ferdinand R.Marcos Jr. in 2025.

The projects including those involving Discaya-owned firms, dated back to 2019 and 2020, when Sen. Cayetano was House Speaker. | via Bernard Ferrer

NewsPH Makabayan files “Tax Reform Act for Middle Income Earners,” which aims to exempt annual incomes of up to P500,000 from taxes to ease the burden on low- and middle-income earners

From the article:

“Makabayan bloc lawmakers filed a bill on Wednesday seeking to exempt individuals earning up to P500,000 annually from income taxes to ease the burden on low- and middle-income earners.

House Bill 10161—or the Tax Reform Act for Middle Income Earners (TRAM)—aims to double the current tax-exempt threshold of 250,000 pesos. The measure also restores personal exemptions for dependents and mandates triennial adjustments based on inflation.”

I think this will be a good law overall. Puwede rin gawing 1 million. Sana maipasa at hindi harangin ni Recto. Thoughts on this?

GovtServicesPH Government Hotline 8888 "Isumbong Mo Sa Pangulo" Works

My mother needed to get some laboratory tests after a doctor checked her for painful areas on her body and what appeared to be a contusion on her leg.

I remembered that about two years ago, a Super Health Center opened near our place. It was only about 2 km from our house, and according to its Facebook page, it provides free checkups and basic laboratory services to the residents of Brgy. San Francisco, General Trias.

My mother fasted starting the night before our visit, as required for her laboratory tests. We woke up around 4:00 AM because the line for free medical services tends to get really long. We wanted to plan ahead since, during our visit the previous year, there was a daily cutoff of 50 patients in the morning and 50 in the afternoon. I dropped my mother off at the center, and once she let me know she was in queue, I went back home to sleep for work later that day.

When I woke up, I was shocked to learn from my mother that she had been charged around ₱5,000 for all the laboratory services. She decided to pay because she had already fasted and didn't want to go through the process all over again.

I was furious because the center issued her a receipt from a private clinic; despite having their own laboratory facilities. As soon as I learned about this scheme, I called the 8888 hotline and narrated everything to the agent. She was very accommodating and helpful, letting me know that the complaint would be coordinated with the concerned local government unit. She advised me to follow up within 3 working days and gave me a reference number for the case.

Today, my mother went back to the center for her follow-up checkup. She needed another urine test to check if her UTI had cleared after taking antibiotics, and she was pleasantly surprised to learn that the laboratory tests are now completely free of charge.

If you experience any irregularities with government services, don't hesitate to report them to 8888. Based on our experience, it is a truly effective government program.

Edit: During my mom's first visit, all of them who had laboratory checks were charged. The check up was free but the labs required payment.

Today, when my mother had her labs again, it was already free, and she told me that she's glad we made the report because all of the patients are informed now that the laboratory services in the health center are free of charge - as they should be.

PoliticsPH Padilla: "Wala Po Kayong Karapatang Magtanong sa Senator-Judges"

Post image
490 Upvotes

Senator-judge Robin Padilla strongly responded to House prosecution counsel Gerville Luistro after she sought clarification on his manifestation during the impeachment trial on Wednesday.

Padilla called for fairness as he pointed out that witnesses with perjury complaints filed against them are allowed to testify, while senator-judges who have pending cases are not allowed to be present at the impeachment court.

"Ibig niyo pong sabihin, 'yung mga senator-judges dito ngayon na humaharap sa kaso na hindi po pinapayagan ng Ombudsman at hindi pa rin sila guilty, ano pong ibig ninyong sabihin," Padilla stated.

"May I be clarified, your honor, on the senators you said are facing cases," Luistro asked.

Padilla then asserted that his statement was already clear and Luistro has no right to question a senator-judge. Presiding officer Chiz Escudero interjected to clarify that Padilla was making a manifestation and not posing a question to Luistro.

PADILLA VS. PROSECUTION

Jeremy Lotoc at Senior Agent — John Mark Calilung — may kinakaharap umanong kaso.

Senator-judge Raffy Tulfo asked NBI Director Melvin Matibag whether then-President Rodrigo Duterte would have ordered an arrest if former Vice President Leni Robredo had made the same remarks and outbursts attributed to Vice President Sara Duterte.

Tulfo, however, clarified that he believes Robredo would not have made such statements, citing her character. #VPonTrial

PoliticsPH JFC Robin Padilla has to be booted out as a judge for his incompetence

He’s taking way too much time in the impeachment trial, and he ends all diabolically dumb questions with a smug face.

It seems like, to Robin, it’s his own world and we’re just side characters deprived of mental agency.

I didn’t read the Senate impeachment rules, but I hope they add provisions prohibiting incompetent Senator judges asking irrelevant questions from participating in the trial, or at least limit his capacity.

PoliticsPH Senator Judge Cayetano Freudian Slip?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Is this a clear example of a "Freudian Slip" by Senator Judge Cayetano? Why is he blatantly claiming to be on "Opposite sides" with a witness?

This seems like an admission of guilt on Senator Judge Cayetano's part na may pinapanigan siyang side as if it isn't obvious enough ? 😂
