I am new fan, very very late! Although I have a long deep history of getting deeply into music particularly guitar driven bands, I am stuck with making a personal accounting of what I was doing in life that I missed out on their awesomeness. I am 10 days into my all waking hours bingeing on music, videos and info. 2 weeks ago I couldn't name another band member other than EV.

I have figured out my favorite era ('90-'94) and have been listening to and viewing April 1994 shows today. I read the Melody Maker interview with EV before the last show and he seemed emotionally wrecked and fragile, like life could go either way. What I am curious about is how he got through the period after this show, how he healed or processed the loss as well as how to deal with the fame/BS. He did come back. I read that Neil Young helped the band by inviting them to record with them but EV was "largely" not there due to the stalker.

I would be grateful if you can share articles, videos or info about what help he got. (Was it all surfing, getting married, recording, drinking?)

I have rediscovered my love for MTV unplugged album.

I have always loved the songs ocean and state of love and trust but unplugged it always seems to hit differently.

Heres my question...if Pearl Jam was asked to do another Unplugged Session and could do 10 Songs but none of the same songs they did on the first version, what 10 Songs would you like to hear.
