I pre-ordered the album at the concert in Cologne and just got a mail from the official incubus store.
It just said:
Dear Customer,
Order update: New album to be released in 2026. Details forthcoming.
Kind Regards,
Incubus Store

Hey y’all, I’ve been working on getting a music discussion YouTube channel off the ground and just uploaded an Incubus ranking video. Any support would be much appreciated!

So, looking at Brandon and Nicole's posts: what is going on??? It almost feels narcissistic at this point. Just kidding. Someday it will come together. I really really really miss them!!!!!

Hi everyone! I’m downsizing my vinyl collection and have a brand new sealed bootleg copy of Fungus Amongus on white vinyl. Would anyone be interested in purchasing before I try to sell elsewhere?

Thinking about getting a tattoo; does there exist anywhere a full artwork for A Crow Left of the Murder that doesn’t contain the band members at the bottom for inspiration?

First off, how was Fungus Amongus at D in the Community Rankings? I get it that it was refused and all, but you gotta admit, there's some BANGERS on there, and by disliking Fungus Amongus, you'd also be disliking Enjoy Incubus (their first EP).
I would admit that their post-99 alt rock style is significantly worse than their 90s nu metal phase. The only reason Morning View is getting an S Tier is because personally, it has a relaxing tone that may sometimes be equally as enjoyable as nu metal (or funk metal).

I have been hanging on to this top that I thrifted a long time ago, I can’t find anything similar when I reverse image search it.

In 2013, Brandon teamed up with the producer of the band’s previous few albums to do an album together. The album and the group were simply titled “Sons of the Sea.”
The album consists of ten songs, which the duo has described with the paradoxical genre label of “alt-pop.” Alt-pop has also been used to describe alternative songs that somehow find their way into the mainstream—this is, however, not what Brandon Boyd and Brendan O’Brien meant. Instead, they referred to an intended fusion of sensibilities: pop-inspired music with an alternative approach.
It is a very liminal album: between genres, between artists, and it often deals with what is between love and loss, pain and ecstasy—the kind of stuff that goes on between lovers (sometimes, enemies).
If you keep listening to the album long enough, it also becomes an album about what is between you and it. It has a mysterious and psychedelic push which lives in a relationship with the pull of its pop-like compositions.
"I can only imagine what you must think of me,
after all of these arrows and violins.
A flip of the coin and I'm both sides!"
The album’s opening lines begin to sound like its confession to you.
"But all the found moments of bliss
come when I look into your eyes—
nothing can compare to this,
so I'll take my chances!"
And, now, you’re in it again. Between you and it. Between familiarity and mystery. Between the all and the particular. As if you ever really left.
Sons of the Sea is my most listened-to album ever. It is in my bones at this point. And, between its lyrics and music, the sun is always setting or rising—depending on what mood or moment I happen to find myself in.
So—I’ll keep taking my chances!

Do u think it would be funny if when Brandon performs pardon me, he would change the lyric from “I never thought I would be at 23 on the verge…” to whatever age he is that year like this year he would sing that he never thought he would be at 50” I just think it’s funny he still says 23 after all these years

Not the greatest recorded footage ever but felt like sharing as it does portray the energy of the performance :)

Time flies. Gotta say this album is aging like fine wine. A perfect album to listen while on a road trip.
Crazy to think that this album almost broke up the band. Brandon and Mike said at the time that this was the best work they ever done and a couple of years later, Mike said that it puts him to sleep.
Regardless of what happened behind the scenes, it was a great album and even better than Trust Fall and 8.

After years of hunting and searching - primarily because I play in an Incubus tribute - through some sleuthing and hunting - I have found the official record that the samples come from. All of the samples!!!

Picked up a (seemingly sealed) CD copy of S.C.I.E.N.C.E. at a local record shop and noticed the face was pretty pixelated, while images I found online show a full-resolution face.
Curious if this is actually an official disc and why this is different from covers I see online.
The rest of the box art, the booklet, and the disc seem to have quite good print quality (aside from the background, which seems consistently pixelated even on images I found online). The face is the only thing that seems off. Thoughts?

I've got an Incubus surfboard from the 2002 Morning View Civic Tour — orange sunburst, the Incubus sphere logo, "CIVIC tour," and a red koi line-drawing on the deck. From what I've dug up, these were Stewart boards given to the band and crew.
Mine's signed in marker up near the logo — looks like a few different band members, but I can't confidently make out whose is whose. Photos below.
A few things I'm hoping the hive mind can help with:
Not necessarily selling — mostly just want to know more about what I've got. Any history or leads appreciated. 🤙
(Board's kept indoors — the porch was just for the photos.)

So this may be an unpopular opinion but one of my favorite deep cut tracks is “crowded elevator”. Every time I go to a live performance, I secretly hope this will be the time I hear them perform it live. After 26 years and 20+ concerts I have never heard it. Anyone else secretly love this song?

So some comments on my previous post about this album suggested this version for the 5.1 dvd. And I am so glad to report that it lives up to the hype. If you have a surround system, go ahead and do yourself a favor. The dvd graphics, menu, and video quality are terrible, so nostalgic.
Bonus, this case is super cool!
