Hi guys, I was getting annoyed with the speed of launching games in the XMB. I also wanted memory stick data to be re-arranged with the most recent on top (like the Switch). So I made a plugin for ARK-4 that enables caching and orders with the last used first.

I made this for myself, but it felt selfish not to share. I've only tested it on ARK-4, on a PSP1000 (my PSP). It's just a plug-in doesn't make any changes to any internals of ARK-4.

Note, I'm a software engineer (25+ years), but this was written by Fable 5 and reviewed by me. If you don't feel comfortable with AI writing code for your PSP, this isn't for you. (I wouldn't have time to do this otherwise)

I'm playing a PSP game on my Vita using a PPSSPP online server, and it's working.

Was having trouble with my psp go keeping the sd card (with adapter) readable and now it won’t turn on. The green light turns on and the screen with light up but after a bit the Bluetooth and wireless lights flash once and it turns off. I really would rather not have to get a new one as this one was a gift

I just found an old PSP-2000 of mine that my buddy jailbroke for me years ago. I'm a complete novice with this and am hoping to find some advice on what to do, what not to do, etc. It currently is running 6.61 Pro-C, and I have all the ARK-4 files downloaded to switch to that if it's needed. I heard ARK-4 also can access the internet with WPA2 now so I'm really interested in this. Am I able to install the CiPL from ARK-4 while running Pro-C or do I have to get rid of Pro-C first? I'm honestly getting a bit overwhelmed with how many guides there are and not really sure what the safest way of doing anything is. Links or just directions are all appreciated, thank you in advance!

Boa tarde pessoal, ganhei esse psp 3000 e como não tinha bateria eu comprei aquelas genéricas baratas pois queria jogar logo. Porém o psp não liga sem estar carregando, como mostro no vídeo ele indica carregamento mas após uns 2 minutos a luz apaga e não consigo ligar sem o cabo, e nas informações de bateria só consta que está carregando. O problema pode ser na placa do console ou na bateria?

Told my roommate how much I loved my vita and he doesn’t use his psp as much since he got a vita as well. So he gave me his psp! Super awesome but he’s had this for a long time as you tell by the picture. Just wondering if it’s easy for a replacement for screen and shell. Or just let it ride?

I picked up a psp 3000 a few weeks ago and it was working great except for the analog which didn't work at all. Well I got a replacement off aliexpress and while it worked it just feels terrible. So much stiffer to move around than the oem. What's the reason? The inside of the joystick seems pretty basic. Is it the spring tension? I ended up damaging my psp 3000 really badly (retention clips, and screen) trying to work on the analog stick.

The oem ones move so smoothly and easily. Trying to lube the 3rd party one did nothing. I actually ruined one by trying to spray white lithium into it, only to have it become completely gritty and even harder to move.

My psp Just randomly cut the sound. Like all of a sudden i didnt Heard the Classic clicks on the menu and i pluged it to the speaker and it worked but my internal speakers dont work now.

I'm sorry if this was obvious, but it's pretty simple!

You can do this two ways: a PS3 system or a PC.

PC:

What you need to have (PC METHOD):

1. PKGi. If you have a PS3 you're probably familiar with this name)

2. A PSP pkg

3. npdrm_free plugin installed if using CFW other that ARK-4/5

4. A Mini USB cable

1. If you don't have one, create a folder called "PKG" on the root of your Memory Stick (internal storage for Go users.)

2. Drag and drop your PKG file on the "PKG" folder

3. Open PKGi. If prompted to connect to the internet, press "O" (or X on a japanese model)

4. Press LEFT on the D-pad. The top bar should say "Local PKGs"

5. Highlight your PKG and press X (O for japanese models)

6. Wait for the installation to end. (NOTE: After the game is installed, the PKG will be deleted!)

PS3:

What you need:

1. A jailbroken PS3, either HEN or CFW

2. MultiMAN

3. A Mini USB cable

4. Your PSP PKG

5. npdrm_free plugin installed if using CFW other that ARK-4/5

1. Have your PKG already downloaded on the "bubble" form and have your PSP plugged in

2. Open multiMAN on the PS3 (enable HEN first, HEN users)

3. Have the default XMB theme on mmCM (multiMAN), the XMB one

4. Go to [mmCM] tab -> [mmOS / File Manager] and select it.^{3.1. double-press the "PS3 root" icon}

5. Go to /dev_hdd0/vsh/game_pkg/. If you have multiple PKGs in the bubble form, they will appear as folders. Grab the latest one or the one that has the time you downloaded the PSP game.

6. Enter the folder, and you will see some files, see if you have the pkg, it has a long string as it's name.

7. Select it and press "O", then, select "COPY". You should get a notification telling that the file was copied to the clipboard.

8. Head to the root of the PS3 filesystem, and enter /dev_usb00x, the "x" representing the number of the USB port. Unplug all USB storage devices if you are unsure which one is the PSP.

9. Enter the PKG folder of the root of /dev_usb00x. If it doesn't exist, create it. To create it: Press O, select Create New Folder, enter the name "PKG", in all capitals.

10. Press "O", and select paste. If it asks you if you're sure, press "Yes" and wait.

11. As soon that it's done, disconnect your PSP and head to PKGi. If prompted to connect to the internet, press "O" (or X on a japanese model)

12. Press LEFT on the D-pad. The top bar should say "Local PKGs"

13. Highlight your PKG and press X (O for japanese models)

14. Wait for the installation to end. (NOTE: After the game is installed, the PKG will be deleted!)
