News & Discussion Do people give hate endorsements?
I had the worst game as Hanzo today in qp were I probably did less damage than Mercy but got at least three endorsements lol

Since a few patches already, i keep having "Losing Trends". Why? I dropped from Diamond 3 to Gold! As a Diamond I get paired with a Gold 4 DPS. As a Plat I get paired with Gold 5! I iost 37% EVERY game thanks to the tag "Losing Trend"
Blizzard needs to fix this asap before I deinstall their game after 9 years. I've never been this angry, not even enough to post on Reddit.

5v5:
- Slower (2 players less in the field)
- More forgiving
- Less chaos
- lame
6v6 1-3-2
- Far better
- Chaotic, and more overwatchy
- More friends to play with
- Tank synergies
- Better game awarness, need to use more cover, manage cooldowns.

I was trying to log onto Overwatch. Before I could’ve done so easily before, but now I’m not able to. Says something about an LC-202. I’m wondering what the issue is and I’m hoping someone can answer.

Hello,
I'm Dr.Real6, and I make Overwatch content on TikTok.
I was playing a Quick Play match on Havana when I noticed an omnic wearing a hat and dressed rather modestly. Then a thought immediately came to mind. I remembered seeing him somewhere before.
Oh, wait... doesn't he look like the silhouette Blizzard revealed at the beginning of this year, featuring all the heroes that will be released by the end of the year?
What do y'all think about this theory?

I returned to the overwatch for lucio ball as its the only game mode that still feels good in overwatch and I am currently at over 20 minutes to find a match at midday. I waited 10 for my last one for them to put me in a losing game. Guess there is no reason to keep the game on my computer if its really this dead. Also lol at the auto mod not letting you use the word for removing software from your computer.

Anyone Else keep DC'ing mid game?
My games go fine Then suddenly become unplayable for a few seconds and then it boots me to the log in screen and says Error Client Disconect
I'm currently banned for 10 minutes because of this

Hey y'all, I've decided to play some 6v6 because it seems a little bit more forgiving than role queue in terms of team comp! I haven't played it like at all & was wondering if anyone had any general tips? I'm most comfortable on support but can play tank or dps decently. Is it super different from role queue or is it generally the same? Thanks!

I played the hell out of tank during the hacked mode, and it was the most fun I've had in the role in years. Now that the mode is gone, I just can't bring myself to queue for 5v5. I played a few matches, but it feels awful and empty. It's also so toxic, with blame being thrown around over any misplay.
I'm really considering swapping to support because, damn, playing tank is not fun. Your role is essentially just to suffer so the other roles get to enjoy the game.
I tried Open Queue, but it's wildly inconsistent with unbalanced team comps, so it's just not the same, it doesn't feel like a competitive mode.

I was so excited when I heard ana got a new weapon skin. But there's genuinely no reason to buy it don't get me wrong the skin looks genuinely cool but there's nothing going on about it.
Junkrat's and soldier 76's los muertos weapon skins have the cool detail of when you go into a dark place it changes the colors on the weapon.
the hard light weapons skins have such a satisfying reload sound and it has subtle little details.
Even the nerf weapon skins were genuinely cool with them having genuine Nerf dart sounds.
But Ana's frostmourne skin doesn't have anything going for it It generally just feels like a weapon skin that they pulled off of a skin
What are your thoughts on the skin tho

Wanted to do a deep dive on maps because I'm a huge fan of T4's work in general and the recent maps have been the best addition to the game in my opinion, even more so than new heroes so let us trade information, I might get things wrong so keep it nice towards me and each other please!
Also read everything before commenting, please, there's barely any text.
And we begin with concepts for what they wanted to add into the game before release. Some we can speculate turned out to be real under new names such as Galapagos, Iron Star, Kyoto Temple and India.

I bring the Iceland map mentioned above in future posts for those who never saw it and maps ideas to share and discuss so hopefully you liked this brief post which might be best if seen in a larger screen due to resolution. Many new players have no idea these are or were a thing at some point :)

US East, player name Zenkay in a 6v6 qp; I felt something was off about his lethality compared to his game-sense so I loaded up the replay. What do y'all think? The crazy jitter would have made me barf trying to play like that.

Hey everyone!
I’ve put together a short overview of Overwatch’s past and present, along with some ideas for its future. My goal is to turn it into an open letter to Aaron Keller.
I originally handed this document over during the OWCS at DreamHack Stockholm. I’m not sure whether Aaron ever saw it, since I never received any feedback afterward. I haven’t completely rewritten it since then—I’ve mainly reused the original version and highlighted in red everything Blizzard has already introduced or addressed since.
Now I’d like to add a final section called Community Ideas, and that’s where you come in.
Feel free to share any ideas you have for the future of Overwatch: gameplay changes, competitive features, social systems, PvE concepts, cosmetics, quality-of-life improvements, or anything else you think could make the game better.
I’ll add the most interesting suggestions to the document and credit your Reddit username next to your idea. After giving the community some time to contribute, I’ll publish the updated open letter on Reddit and Twitter/X and try to get it in front of Aaron Keller and the Overwatch team.
Don’t hesitate to share your thoughts, even if they’re ambitious or unconventional. The goal is to bring together as many community perspectives as possible! <3

The identity crisis destroyed stadium.
The post they announced they will discontinue stadium was the same post they came up with some stats about how distributed the playerbase was and they showed themselves the playerbase splitted in 7 DIFFERENT GAMEMODES. They even splitted the stadium playerbase in TWO. This would be unthinkable back in 2016 - 2019 overwatch where the game has its identity and it did not try to appeal to a casual audience.
It was actually back in 2019 when they started switching things around with the role queue introduction but they never dared to remove open queue or role queue itself. So we had a splitted playerbase and role queue never worked as intended.
Now we are in 2026 the game is splitted in 7 main gamemodes, a massive game its gonna drop late this year and IT IS gonna take a chunk of players away from overwatch and its gonna be even worse than valorant was or M.R. was for the playerbase. And if we get to christmas in a bad state or in a identity crisis the effects will be even worse.
Settle in ONLY ONE main gamemode, 5v5 or 6v6 with NO QUEUE VARIATIONS. And add the official ranked mode of the game. Then you will see if you have stadium around it is gonna have a place in the game. Make it a qp/ranked hybrid. We should have only 3 main gamemodes instead of 7 and regardless what you chose as the queue method its gonna be better that whatever we've had all these years.
Yes you can argue even if they do that most of people will not be interested in stadium (wich is my case) but when you have a product and the main product is good people tend to investigate more about your product wich could drive people to engage more in stadium.
And yes you can argue too that removing 5v5 or 6v6 would result in alot of people quitting the game wich is not entirely true. People is kinda toxic and lately i have seen alot of people threatening blizzard with leaving if they dont do what accomodates to themselves.
The identity crisis killed stadium, 6v6 and 5v5 cannot co-exist. Role queue and open queue cannot co-exist.

I feel like the Game is not engaging enough for people who like to play constantly. I had quite a lot of free time the past months and spend a huge amount of time into this Game.
Even though I like the Events and the Weekly challenges I feel like that is not engaging enough for people to make them stay.
I think they should expand the Progression system in a way that gives you a consistent reason to keep on playing. I think getting a normal loot box for every 5th Progression level would be a nice way to get people to keep playing.
It's so frustrating to get the event stuff early into the week and then not getting shit :(
Other Games and specifically shooter give you more stuff that keep you hooked.
Whats your opinion on this?

Overwatch should totally implement an emote when you get mvp to be able to like dance or do a peace sign or something. They got rid of dvas dance thing when she wins mvp but i think it would be w money maker if they added emotes at the end of the games when you get mvp.

Ive seen lots of debates of her skin being very school girl in the date night bundle. But I also find her weapons charm very odd. Im SUPER happy they added shorts on her.
Am I the only one ?
TV IS SECOND HAND. DONT JUDGE THE LINES. IT WORKS
People who are mentioning porn is gross because not once did that come out my mouth/thoughts or in my post. I dont think its porny.
I THINK IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE DIFFERENT.

One of the most satisfying wins is when you're against tiktok tank players. You know the typa tank player that sees a rein and then just goes through every rein counter whilst still getting dog walked and you know they're absolutely baffled why swapping to ram, orisa and mauga didn't work when the tiktoks told them it was a hard counter and easy win.
Word of advice, don't take any overwatch advice from random tiktok creators or vids. 90% of them are the same elo as you and have just as much of an idea of the game as you do.
Edit: Lolll the amount of people that missed the purpose of this post. People actually thought this was about not counterswapping when the literal main point was don't counterswap for the sake of counter swapping if you're just bad. I've seen sm people swap ana into hog and just not anti the hog or swap ram into rein and just suck at ram but sure cry harder
