I played the hell out of tank during the hacked mode, and it was the most fun I've had in the role in years. Now that the mode is gone, I just can't bring myself to queue for 5v5. I played a few matches, but it feels awful and empty. It's also so toxic, with blame being thrown around over any misplay.
I'm really considering swapping to support because, damn, playing tank is not fun. Your role is essentially just to suffer so the other roles get to enjoy the game.

I tried Open Queue, but it's wildly inconsistent with unbalanced team comps, so it's just not the same, it doesn't feel like a competitive mode.

For those unaware, Blizzcon is / was Blizzard's annual convention which shut down for a while. In previous years, if you had a ticket (including a Virtual Ticket), you got a bunch of stuff across all of Blizzard's games. This year the Virtual Ticket is not available and panels are streamed for free instead, so as a result they look to be separating all the Blizzcon goodies off from each other in each game.

I saw a youtube short of something similar so the idea is not original, but after being rescued by a very good girl I wanted to make my own cinematic masterpiece of Fika’s heroic actions.

Ive seen lots of debates of her skin being very school girl in the date night bundle. But I also find her weapons charm very odd. Im SUPER happy they added shorts on her.

God how I wish this was an Echo skin. I understand why Blizz focus these skins on more popular heroes, but god damn does it make way more sense for echo.

I'm genuinely curious and hoping folks can help me understand her backstory.

So, she was used as a training bot by humans before and maybe after her awakening before she was arrested.

She hates humans but she would rather live in the guise of a human than the face of an omnic.

I know some people say she does this because of the trauma she might feel from being abused so long as an omnic but it's still so confusing and weird.

Why not remodify herself to look like a different type of omnic instead of looking like her abusers if she hates them so much?

A few weeks ago, there was a post (by u/ Sketchy049) asking what happened to the map weather effects that were for PvE for different maps. It got me thinking that Blizzard loves these “Sombra QP Hacked” events so why not try something like this with this event? I mean isn’t this event/mode now the new “Experimental” mode we used to have (which I miss😭)?

Some will say it will never work, especially for comp, but idk they can even try this or an arcade mode (since I know how people feel about QP being hacked based on this last event) bc these are so cool instead of having just the Day/Night maps (which took sooooo long to get)

Tbh, this is why I love the Halloween and Winter Wonderland events bc some maps are changed—not the weather but at least something lol.

I was so excited when I heard ana got a new weapon skin. But there's genuinely no reason to buy it don't get me wrong the skin looks genuinely cool but there's nothing going on about it.

Junkrat's and soldier 76's los muertos weapon skins have the cool detail of when you go into a dark place it changes the colors on the weapon.

the hard light weapons skins have such a satisfying reload sound and it has subtle little details.

Even the nerf weapon skins were genuinely cool with them having genuine Nerf dart sounds.

But Ana's frostmourne skin doesn't have anything going for it It generally just feels like a weapon skin that they pulled off of a skin

What are your thoughts on the skin tho

You are a tank. you want to play tank. If you queue tank, you have the chance to be stuck solo tanking which puts you at a disadvantage against possible enemy duo tanks.

You may be stuck solo tanking with 3 dps, against a tank duo (which sucks), so your best bet to ensure you get a second tank, is to... queue dps

So to best ensure you get another tank, you, as a tank, are incentivized to queue dps and then swap tank rather than queue tank. But as more players realize this, this means les tanks in tank queue. Tank numbers go down and dps queue time goes up.

And thus the original problem of fixed 2-2-2 is recreated, except this time, you arent even guaranteed two tanks, unless you, yourself, queue dps with the express intent to swap tank... ahich depletes the number of willing tank players in tabk queue.

Backfilled me into an already ongoing match, then flagged me for being AFK because I’m still in a loading screen? Seems reasonable :)

Dear Blizzard,

Please allow us to re-select perks with possibly a penalty of starting the meter over or something of that nature. I am tired of accidentally the wrong perk and being locked in for the remainder of the match.

Heyyy everyone so recently in a few games I’ve been experiencing mental lag like shown in the clip above.

Im posting about it because I really don’t think it’s because of my WiFi, i play on ps5 and test my internet connection before I log onto any multiplayer game, I’ve also been testing it after I leave games like this and it always comes back successfully. Sometimes if I wait it out it returns back to normal but by the time that happens I’ve already contributed to my team losing so I just leave. I have a trio and they said they experience the same thing.

At this point I’m worried about suspensions and bans because of the amount of games I have to leave because of this unplayable lag, I don’t know if you can get banned from leaving quick play games but I have been hit with 15 minutes suspensions even from just closing the application.

If anyone knows why this happens or even some advice to fix my connection that would be greatly appreciated :))

Edit: forgot to mention, in this game specifically, I left and tested my connection, it came back successful and I was able to join back cause my trio were in this game and they hadn’t got a new tank yet. Everything was alright until I walked closer to my teammates and to the enemy team and my game just started lagging like this again.

I think it would increase this character's versatility and skill ceiling of Sierra could just shoot their tracking shot onto a wall, floor, etc. and make it so that if you keep pressing right click, her Helix rifle shoots the tracking bullets towards the tracker.

It could lead to some fun trick shots and maybe even help this character feel more fun to play as.
