Baked Oats Traces Oats baked oats recipe is a hit!

I was so skeptical of baked oats and because breakfast is my fav meal of the day I didn't want to mess it up. I finally gave it a shot and just adjusted some quantities to fit my macros and didn't have chocolate chips so topped off with crushed peanuts. If you're looking to try a foolproof baked oats recipe give this one a go! Crispy top with ooey gooey centre.
Cook for longer for a more cake like texture- I like my oats porridge-y

Here is his recipe:

- ½ cup (50g) oats
- ½ cup + 2 tbsp (140g) milk
- ½ tbsp (5g) chia seeds
- 1 tbsp (5g) cocoa powder
- ½ tbsp (7g) maple syrup
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 scoop (31g) protein powder
- **1–2 tbsp peanut butter** (for the center)

𝙏𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝:

- Chocolate chips

𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨:

  1. Pour half of the batter into an oven-safe ramekin or baking dish.
  2. Add the peanut butter to the center, then cover with the remaining batter. Add some chocolate chips on top if you want.

Oatmeal Spiced Pineapple Oats

It's about time for me to hit the grocery, so I tried something out of my ordinary today and added crushed pineapple to my oatmeal. It was pretty good, so figured I'd share. Wish I'd taken a picture.

Anyway, I started by making sort of compote with my pineapple (as in sautéed till thickened, but didn't add sugar). Cooked my oatmeal as I normally do (milk, egg whites, flax) then mixed in a dash of Chai spice, a few raisins, a little ChocZero caramel syrup, and Chobani vanilla Greek yogurt. Plus the pineapple of course.

I will be adding this to my rotation for sure. Let me know if you give it a try :)

Oatmeal Banana bread oatmeal

Hey, newbie here!

I honestly got only recently into oatmeal because it's so cheap and filling, and have to say: I missed out!

I have a ball with oatmeal as the base! It's so versatile!

I don't have a picture, but today's oatmeal is:

- two teaspoons of brown sugar
- 1.5 banana, (mushed and caramelised)
- small bits of dried pineapple
- tiny amount of vanilla
- almond milk
- oats

Heat and stir well in the pot, cool down over night in the fridge.

Served with some blueberries on top!

It tastes like banana bread, so good. ;o;

Oatmeal Why the hell does Quaker always give the best flavor the least amount of packets in their instant variety boxes??

So I've been looking at the fruit Quaker Variety Boxes because I suddenly started craving them again after my grandmother bought me the one with apple, brown sugar, and cinnamon. The cream pack has always been one of my top easy foods, even though I just found out the peaches and strawberries are actually just artificially (unless it's somehow natural) flavored apples. Look, they still taste close enough to strawberries and peaches to me, so you can't ruin my childhood ತ_ತ.

Anyways, I was looking at the different boxes, and somehow I only realized just then, that in every single variety box the best flavor gets the least packets. Not only that, but some of them the order of least to most packets goes from best to worst flavor, right in line. The banana cream gets 5 and the peach gets 6 while the strawberry gets 21 (I like strawberry but it does not deserve half the box). The apple gets 15 while the maple gets 22. The peach gets 5 while the maple gets 23.

Some of them are more equal than others, but a lot of them are extremely biased. Why should a single flavor get almost half the box, while another gets not even 10%? I just don't understand why, if I'm buying a variety box, they aren't all equal? Most snacks, when you buy a variety pack, they all have the same amount of everything. But I guess it's too expensive to produce Banana Cream at the same rate as Strawberries.

Recipe request Oats on vacation

Let’s just say, my digestion does better when I eat oats every single morning. 🤭I’m thinking about making some kind of oatmeal muffin or pancake that I could make in advance and take on an upcoming roadtrip to eat each day.

Ideally, not something I have to keep super cold.

Does anyone have a good recipe to share? Please no sugar bombs! 🙏🏼

The name is a mouthful, I know 😂 But these are banana cinnamon oat pancakes with refined sugar-free chocolate chips and chopped dates in them and topped with homemade refined sugar-free maple pancake syrup and caramelized banana. I wasn't expecting these to be so good, but as soon as I took the first bite, I was caught off guard by how blessed my mouth became. I've never tried adding chopped dates to pancake batter before, but it's an absolute game changer 🤤 And this maple pancake syrup I made...damn 🤌

Oatmeal Savory oatmeal fail

I didn’t have tomato paste but saw that we had tomato SAUCE so I mixed it with water and cooked it. It looks like ground beef and the flavor wasn’t bad but definitely not super yum tasty, maybe I should’ve actually gone through the process of sautéing and cooking garlic, onion, and tomato but I was too lazy

Maybe the mistake was me trying to cook instant oats as if they were rolled oats, I don’t know at this point

Paired with cottage cheese and an attempt at a jammy egg that cracked when I put it in the pot 🥲

Recipe to share Savory Oat Supremacy

Quarter cup of 1-min quick cook oats, half a cup of water, a splash of soy sauces, and some dashes of Frank’s Red Hot sauce. While that’s microwaving for 45 seconds, start frying an egg. After the microwave is done, stir the oats together, and then add in onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and stir again. Actually I might add some nutritional next time. Check on the egg to make sure the whites are getting cooked and crispy, but the yolk is still runny. Add a little touch of light white miso paste to the oats and stir it in. Ideally you’ll add some dashes of sesame oil now, but don’t stir it. I forgot and ended up adding the sesame oil last. Anyway, add that egg to the top of your oats. Oat texture should be INCREDIBLY creamy. Top the oats with jalapeño flavored everything but the bagel seasoning, and if you forgot the sesame oil, add that now. The green onions were good for decoration, but I think I’ll just eat the stalks next time on the side. I would also add kimchi on the side if I had that.

I never have luck posting captions with my photo posts, so hopefully this works.

Oats n’ gratitude, hear me out!

Post image

Simple water and oats are an incredible foundation for nourishment, it doesn’t have to be a complex recipe. Just as gratitude is the foundation to happiness, it’s as simple as focusing on your breath. Be thankful for every breath you take as each one is a true gift. Gratitude turns what you have into enough and what more could you be thankful for than your breath. Be here with your breath as this one will lead to you to the next. You can’t get there without being here so be present. Oats nourish the body and gratitude nourishes the mind. Try it focus on your breath and being thankful for life ohh and oats 🤙

Recipe:

Steel cut oats

Water & milk

Honey

Vanilla

Orange cooked with oats

Toppings: fried pear, toasted coconut, pecans

Dark chocolate peppermint oatmeal topped with homemade refined sugar-free mint chocolate fudge sauce and an After Eight because why not. This was one of the best things I've put into my mouth. Y'all gotta try melting real chocolate into your oatmeal. I know it adds a lot of extra calories as opposed to just putting cocoa powder into it, but it's so worth it, in my opinion. The chocolate flavour ends up so much more delicious 🤌

Baked Oats Biscoff baked oats

Post image
49 Upvotes

Inspired by @justarandom86

Base:
210 g old-fashioned rolled oats
1⅔ cups (400 ml) whole milk
1 large egg
1½ tsp baking powder
11/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 large mashed banana
1:4c maple syrup
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tap vanilla extract
2 cups milk

Toss all dry ingredients in a bowl and transferred to an 8x8 ovenproof dish. This is just my normal baked oatmeal recipe base so i added 4 tbsp of Biscoff cookie dough
Whisk egg and then add in maple syrup snd butter. Whisk again and then add milk and vanilla

I let this sit overnight in the fridge

In the morning i added to the oven at 350 for 30 min.
When ready to serve, i mixed salted butter, biscoff cookie dough, a little milk and date syrup tasting until i got a buttercreamy-liquidy viscosity and a tang

I topped with some crushed cookies but tbh they just kinda blended in and weren’t needed
