Question/प्रश्न Need tips and tricks for peaceful protest
Hello people of Nepal , I am from delhi where you might
know a student protest is going which was going peaceful
until our own Prime Minister ordered police and goons to beat the hell out of us using clubs and batons, tear gas is also being used on us and also water canons It all happened on 20th Monday but it has been happening since that day daily now in our reels we see how you people have done it so well in your country apparently nothing is that much organized here now . We have started giving goggles and masks to our student medical teams but soon we will distribute it among other students as well. My question would be how and what all methods did you used to protect yourselves ? All tips and tricks are welcomed thanks
Ps:-our metro(subway) is probably being made unaccessible
for us as they are trying to keep the platform closed to protest site

Discussion/बहस Why do we still pay double for imported Sanitary pads when Nepal makes the same thing now?
Imported are Rs. 150+ a pack while local brands with the same SAP core tech are around Rs. 40. The gap is just customs, freight and distributor margins, not quality. Is it habit, packaging, or do people genuinely not trust made-in-Nepal? Curious what you all actually buy.

Looking for teammates for hackathon in Birtamode
Hey everyone
I'm looking for 2-3 teammates for an upcoming hackathon event in Birtamode.
I'm hoping to find people who have experience building websites (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, or similar) and have worked on a few projects before. If you're creative, enjoy solving problems, and can communicate your ideas well during presentations, that's a huge plus.
I'm looking for teammates who are serious about preparing before the event and want to build something we're genuinely proud of.
If you're interested, send me a DM....
And they provide free lodging for people who is far than 75kms

Himalaya Jet possible Scam ?
https://www.instagram.com/himalayajet/
I have suspicous feeling towards this company being a possible scam ?
They claim to launch a long haul UK to Kathmandu aircraft "patriotic" airline where they will operate direct flights from UK / Europe to Himalayas.
Although Nepal airlines are blacklisted in EU, it is possible for a company founded by Nepalses established in the UK to operate those long haul flights but not sure about commerical sustainabilty otherwise other large airlines would have done that too.
This photo they uploaded this to their social media pages not too long ago and David Beckham has been inserted in this picture looks like. Many people have called this out but admins must be deleting any comment that calls them out and all the comments that are remaining are people congratulating them on some sort of partnership with Beckham.
I also read somewhere that their company balance sheets are terrible with no assets or something but they seem to just attract gullible Nepalese investors in their pretty much impossible proposal.
What are your thoughts Nepalese redditors ?

Education/शिक्षा SOMAT MBA TU this year 2083
Has anyone applied for SOMAT this year? I applied my application for entrance exam and it got accepted. After that, I paid entrance fee charge online and mailed them with the screenshot and other information. It got rejected(maybe because I just provided my general statement) after some hours in a same day. The next day, I sent them mail with the overall transaction record in early working hour. I haven't received the reply yet(been 1 and half day). They're not responding to my calls.
I am confused if this is normal to delay the approval. Let me know because I am getting stressed now.

Bukipatan & Chungribuki in One Loop. Hidden Route?
I’m planning a trip and want to visit both Chungribuki and Bukipatan in the same ride.
Is there any motorable road that connects the two directly, so I don't have to return to Burtibang before heading to Chungribuki? Going back to Burtibang and then riding to Chungribuki isn't the route I'm looking for.
I'm aware the roads can be rough, and I'll be going after the monsoon eases, so road conditions aren't my main concern. I just want to know if there's a connecting route that lets me cover both places in one loop.
I’ve seen travel companies offering both destinations in a single tour package, so I’m wondering if there’s a motorable route connecting them. Has anyone done this or knows the route?

Help/सहयोग Should I choose deerwalk collage for csit?
I'm planning to study BSc CSIT, and I'm considering Deerwalk College. I'd like to hear from current students, alumni, or anyone who knows about the college.
I'm mainly interested in:
- Quality of teaching and faculty
- Internship and placement opportunities
- College environment and student life
- Labs, facilities, and extracurricular activities
- Overall value for the tuition fees
Would you recommend Deerwalk for CSIT? If not, what other colleges should I consider in Nepal, and why?
I'd really appreciate honest reviews.

Help/सहयोग Looking for recommendations for creative marketing agencies or teams based in Nepal.
I’m not looking for a typical agency that just posts on social media. I’m looking for a team that’s strong in branding, content strategy, paid ads, website, creative campaigns, and long-term execution.
If you’ve personally worked with an agency or freelancer you’d genuinely recommend, I’d really appreciate their name, contact, or website. Boutique teams are absolutely welcome too.
Not looking for self-promotions, just honest recommendations based on real experience for a new business.
Thanks.

Question/प्रश्न Any Palpitation, PVC, Ectopic heartbeat sufferers?
Although I hear it's not uncommon, I am yet to find somebody other than me who has these. For context, I deal with ectopic beats, which is a feeling best described as your heart skipped a beat. It's not dangerous, and I've had every test possible done to verify it. But it's definitely an annoyance, and panic inducing when it happens since it's your heart your talking about, lol.
Does anybody else have this?
