Does anyone commute from Mobile to Pensacola? Do you drive or carpool? I have a job offer but the designation is 1-1/2 hrs away. I can’t move because I had to go into forbearance as soon as I purchased my home two years ago for hidden defects that were not disclosed or reported on the inspection. So if I sale I would not qualify for an apartment or another mortgage.

Me and my wife will be in Mobile soon and are wanting some good seafood. Anyone have a favorite restaurant?

Does anyone know the story on the Drury Hotel off airport? Particularly why they demo'd the old building just to built a new one on the lot? How jacked up does a building need to to *level* it rather than remodel?

I was in Dallas not too long ago and was told about a group of people that all get together once a week to go to a different dive bar around the city. I know Mobile has a concentrated area of bars in downtown on Dauphin Street but there are so many other bars all around the city that I normally wouldn't go to alone. Is there already a group in Mobile that does something similar to this? It would be a decent way to meet new people, find good deals, and explore the hidden gems in Mobile.

The Role:

What You'll Do:

• Set up and break down the booth (tent, table, product displays, signage)

I’m an EMT starting at a station with 24 hour shifts and will be living without a roommate in 2 months. Your child can spin if they’re dressed up in a costume, otherwise a yearly membership of $10.99/year is required for anyone to spin.

The prizes for said prize wheel are for the most part not even Pokémon themed! They have magic cards, attack of titan, off brand card sleeves, etc.

The only redeemable quality was the 5 card pack of Korean cards, which yeah, were indeed free.

Seems like a tactic to get you in the door & buying their “sealed product” at 10% off, but it was highly disappointing and not at all the vibe that was advertised.

Also, a man who seemed to be the owner, ridiculed the employees saying “figure out what these people are in line for.” Like bro, they’re in line because you advertised free giveaways, thousands in prizes, and a spinning wheel. 💀
