Does anyone commute from Mobile to Pensacola? Do you drive or carpool? I have a job offer but the designation is 1-1/2 hrs away. I can’t move because I had to go into forbearance as soon as I purchased my home two years ago for hidden defects that were not disclosed or reported on the inspection. So if I sale I would not qualify for an apartment or another mortgage.

Does anyone know the story on the Drury Hotel off airport? Particularly why they demo'd the old building just to built a new one on the lot? How jacked up does a building need to to *level* it rather than remodel?

Is there anywhere in or around mobile that I can go to get deals on pc hardware or used / decommissioned server / networking equipment?

I've been on a homelab journey and am in need of spare parts & hard drives and my only option so far has been ebay or other online retailers.

I'm also looking for any places where tech enthusiasts may meet up and hang out. I've heard about mobile maker space but I'm not sure if there still active.
