Help identifying part name
I need to find the name of this particular part. I tried to search for “spoiler” or “rear roof spoiler” but I keep finding only JCW spoilers.
Do you guys know how it is called. Also, if some of you is selling it (somehow) i need it for a mini F56 2014

Is it worth buying a 2015 countryman?
Hi I'm a new driver in the UK and was wondering how reliable these cars are, was searching online and saw mixed information about turbo issues and enginfle failures?
With insurance being crazy for new drivers, I heard its better to go for cars that aren't typical for new drivers so here I am (I know a friend of a friends mechanic selling one at 100k miles for a decent price).
Thanks

This guy
I wish I felt 1/10 as self-satisfied as he does in the Mini How to videos. 🤣🤣🤣
He should be a GIF option here. His reactions are top shelf.

opinion on engine noise
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I hit a curb at high speed, which caused the oil pan to be completely damaged, along with other components such as the radiator system., the oil pan was torn open after the impact. The engine may have only run for a few seconds while losing oil onto the ground. My concern is that components such as the crankshaft bearings (main/rod bearings) or even the valve lifters could have been affected by the lack of lubrication.
I’m a bit worried that the noise could be related to internal engine damage, such as rod bearings or valve lifters, so I would really appreciate your opinion.
Vorrei semplicemente chiedervi un parere: il rumore del motore nel video vi sembra normale o notate qualcosa di insolito? Grazie a tutti coloro che si prenderanno il tempo di ascoltare e condividere la loro opinione.

Husband wants me to get rid of my mini
So I purchased my mini Cooper brand new in December 2023. I’m basically using it to get to and from work. We moved a year and a half ago and my commute changed significantly to about 50 miles daily. It currently has a little less than 32,000 miles. I’ve had multiple issues of different warnings/alert/lights turning on. They’ve been able to fix it because the car is still under warranty. The issue is, that a car this new should not be having this many problems. As a result, my husband now wants me to get rid of the car. I’m not super excited about that idea because I still owe money on it for the next three years.
Is anybody else finding their car to be this problematic?

Anyone else having Apple CarPlay issues?
I lease a 2025 Countryman, and my wife a 2026. We are both experiencing connectivity issues with Apple CarPlay wherein our iPhones 15 will connect to CarPlay and then randomly disconnect. Sometimes the phones will reconnect, and some times they won't. My issues have been going on for over a year now, and hers since she got the car about 2-3 months ago.
After the most recent OS update from Mini, my phone connected and worked flawlessly for about a week. Then it disconnected, and will not connect.
I have tried everything I can think of: deleting the device from the car and reconnecting, deleting the car from my phone's bluetooth and wifi and CarPlay, no luck. I spend some time on the phone with Mini customer service yesterday and today to no avail. In fact, today they said there is nothing else they can do from a troubleshooting standpoint - but maybe I should contact Apple.
I will try them tomorrow, but I believe this is a Mini/BMW problem, not Apple, as both of our phones connected to our previous cars (2022 Clubman and 2023 Countryman) without any problems. It was only when we got the new cars - which have the OLED screens and, presumably, different operating systems that the problems started. Additional notes: my wife's phone worked in her 2023 Countryman while mine did not work in my 2025 Countryman. Both of our phones and cars are fully up to date.
Any thoughts?
Better yet... any solutions? TIA!
EDIT: did the power-button-reset-thingy today and it seems to work!
For now.
Thanks!!

existence of the f66 growing on me
i’m glad that mini has a car that shares its weaknesses with most modern cars.
the contrast makes me appreciate my little vintage modern f56 lci2 that much more. sci-fi 80s sports car vibe

JCW Rallye 964 fitment on 2016 F56?
Hi all, i'm looking to make some big cosmetic updates to my mini. I've had it for over 10 years, needs a lot of love.. But anyway I just found that Mini started producing these sweet rally style wheels. Wanted to see if y'all know if they would fit on the F56?
Pic for attention (current plan for the car)

Anyone else ran into this?

This is so strange but I thought I'd ask here incase someone else has seen this before! The right hand side 'back' indicators are just constantly fizzling on and off with or without the car on, even with no key in the car.
Ive gotten a brand new battery and checked for fault codes but there isnt any :(
This is a 2011 Minicooper D :)

Coolant leaking but no over heating
Hey team,
I have an F56 Mini Cooper S with around 90,000 km on the clock. Recently, I’ve noticed a coolant leak that’s leaving puddles under the car. The engine hasn’t overheated, but the coolant level keeps dropping below the minimum mark even after I top it up.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any common failure points I should check before taking it to a workshop? Thanks in advance!

Ditched the runflats -- what to carry for flat/puncture emergencies?
FINALLY made the switch! Got Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires and I'm astounded by how I can barely hear any road noise, and the NVH of the car is much lower than before. The bumps are much more supple, quiet, and the car feels more refined. I did get an alignment at the same time. Can't believe how grippy they are. I went from 2017 Conti runflats to these, so it was a big leap forward in ride quality tire evolution.
For those of us S drivers who've made the switch but don't have the room for a spare--due to the center exhaust and I also have a sub woofer in the false floor of the boot--do you guys carry emergency provisions for flats and punctures?
I am thinking a pump, plug kit, maybe a can of fix-a-flat for last ditch effort before I call roadside. I'd prefer not to carry a donut because I don't think I have a jack anyway. I realize that none of those would work for a blowout or sidewall damage.
Thanks for your thoughts.

What is this plastic piece on the subframe called (R56/55)
When I dropped the subframe I had accidentally bumped this connector and I was wondering what this piece is called so I can order a replacement.
