Following last week's news that the Markham Street Pedestrian Bridge will be demolished without replacement, I looked at three funded projects that could significantly improve walking and bicycling in Little Rock:

I'm curious what everyone thinks. Are these delays just the reality of federally funded transportation projects, or could the city be moving faster?

There is an abandoned house on Purdue Cir that has been covered over by squatters, who come and go as they please. I live next door and just this morning found that they have broken into my shed and made off with my tools. The police provided little help and didn't even look for the trespassers, despite hearing their voices. I haven't been able to find the owner, and I am desperately trying to find my tools. If you see suspicious people, by all means, report them.

where can I go that has some flat paths and whatnot so I can learn to in-line roller blade?

Obviously I know the skating rink, but I'm thinking somewhere outdoor where I'm not gonna have to pay to look like a drunken cow
