Hello, so apparently the head of the child safety department that has banned almost
700,000+ users with fake and in accurate cases and refused to reinstate the accounts based on their own AI and judgements ; has been arrested for sexting a minor girl . He is the head of the department that bans your Instagram accounts on suspicion of child safety (most of the cases )

I was scrolling, looking for content from people I follow and I had to scroll past 7 ads, 3 reel suggestions and 4 follow suggestions.

Then, the first post Instagram chooses to show me is from three weeks ago.

I don’t understand a business model that refuses to show you posts from people you actually follow. It drives me insane.

My Instagram DMs have stopped working. Messages won’t send, and chats aren’t loading properly. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Instagram keeps suggesting me people I don't know and I don't want to follow. Is there something I could do to stop getting this suggestions?

Basically the story section in my account now shows accounts of people I don’t follow (coloured in red). I accidentally watched a guy I used to dates sister story with this! I was just watching the stories of people I follow and then all of a sudden hers appears!! I blocked her so hopefully she doesn’t realize I was watching her story.

Idk about yall but for me instagram dm are not working and if open the chat its saying couldn’t load messages, and also when I got message and if I read that after sometimes its turning into havent read status
Is there anyone experiencing that too?

Hello, I have been posting reels for a year and made a decent following and always get lots of views. I average over 10 million a month. Today randomly, I got a restriction put on my account. I clicked on it and it asked me to take a picture of my id and I did. The restriction was then instantly removed and it told me that it was a mistake. The problem now is, my videos just stopped moving. My videos would normally move pretty much non-stop, especially the viral ones. Like constant views and ofc it drops over time but its always constant. After the restriction was removed, it just stopped moving all my videos. I also tried posting a new reel and usually on average I get 1k views in 30-40 mins but this couldn’t even do 100 views. Idk what to do, plz help. My reach just got killed. My page was doing good so it’s very frustrating

Used to be a relevant recommended post to every 5 posts from people I follow, now I get random slop content including ragebait and right wing content I don't even remotely want to see or interact with for every 2 posts from people I follow. Also just a lot of slop celeb content I have never even showed any remote interest in. Is this some Zuckerberg bs or is it maybe a privacy setting on my end that has changed?

insta has serious issues with "edgy" (bigotted) comments but for all that it did have insane and funny interactions on reels.

i have noticed lately the comments suddenly got a good deal more beige. 00s style reddit quips, a lot more brands trying to get in on the jokes, just dull facebook style slop comments.

am i imagining it? even the reels feel decidedly more tame.

Don't worry, Instagram is down for everyone right now. Some people can't send messages, some can't post stories, and others are having trouble refreshing their feed or loading reels. It's just a server issue, so you're not the only one. Just wait for a while they'll probably fix it soon🧘

Bit of a weird one.

I commented on a singer's post. He's relatively unknown to the world, just in my home country. Since then, I kept getting annoying spam bots following me (using his name).

Today I got another one, and thought okay I'll just delete the comment and hopefully it'll stop.

I removed my comment and like on the post and then the bot that followed me disappeared!

Is this connected, or just a coincidence?!
