700,000+ users with fake and in accurate cases and refused to reinstate the accounts based on their own AI and judgements ; has been arrested for sexting a minor girl . He is the head of the department that bans your Instagram accounts on suspicion of child safety (most of the cases )

• Instagram will now ban creeps using Meta smart glasses.
• Instagram says users can now be banned for posting harassment filmed with Meta smart glasses.
• Two major prank accounts have already been removed under the policy.
• The move follows growing backlash over covert filming, with recording lights easily obscured.
• Adam Mosseri says videos secretly filming and harassing strangers, including pickup and prank clips, can now be removed.
• Meta has not clearly explained how it will detect violations.

Hi, I will try to keep this short.

Woke up this morning to find “Instagram User” in my Dms. I gave the @ of the main account & the alt account of the person to a few friends to see if I was blocked (Neither account loaded for me)

1. Both the main and alt don’t load on my main

2. Only the main but not the alt loads on my alt ???

3. The main account doesn’t load for my friend in Canada, but the alt does, and the main also doesn’t load for my three friends in three other different countries.

4. Now the extremely weird part, the main does load for some other friends also in different countries??? It seems to be completely random.

5. There is almost no chance that anyone besides me is blocked because there was no mention of them and these people live in different countries with no connection to each other.

6. If I go on google and go on the account through an incognito tab, I still see it is there?

I’m genuinely just so confused and I cannot tell if I’m blocked or the account is deactivated??? Does deactivation have such a tendency to be so finnicky????

This is my old account that has been suspended since September 2024, since then I have been trying to recover it but I can't.

Now I'm facing this issue (as you can see in the images I even tried from the browser but I just can't recover it)

My question is is there a way to disable or ban it so it can't appear when searching for it (I still have access to the linked email account)

Instagram keeps suggesting me people I don't know and I don't want to follow. Is there something I could do to stop getting this suggestions?

Everytime I try to boost a post this comes. And I can't change this. Please help. Pleasee🙏

Bit of a weird one.

I commented on a singer's post. He's relatively unknown to the world, just in my home country. Since then, I kept getting annoying spam bots following me (using his name).

Today I got another one, and thought okay I'll just delete the comment and hopefully it'll stop.

I removed my comment and like on the post and then the bot that followed me disappeared!

Is this connected, or just a coincidence?!

The biggest frustration isn't just losing an account—it's having almost no effective way to appeal. Meta has removed some grievance options, GAC submissions often don't work, and users are left with no clear path to a human review.

These aren't bank accounts involved in fraud or illegal activity. For many, they're simply social media accounts built over years with real memories, businesses, and communities.

The real question is: Why are innocent users facing this problem in the first place?

If Meta's AI moderation is making mistakes, users deserve:

Clear explanations for enforcement actions.

A reliable human review process.

A working appeal system.

No one should lose years of work because of an automated mistake.

Has this happened to anyone else? What was your experience, and were you able to recover your account?

Is anyone else having issues when uploading shorts where the background music will suddenly play very loud in the middle of the video? I've been experiencing this lately and it'svery frustrating! It ruins my videos and I have delete and upload them again.

i just had 3 of my private instagram accounts suspended one by one for no reason at all. 2 of those were almost 10 years old. This is barbaric. ive never interacted with anything political, never used a third party app, never done suspicious behaviour or watched weird stuff, i barely even like reels. All the accounts linked to my gmail have been suspended and they gave no reason. They just said it violated community integrity. what the hell is that even supposed to mean??? i completed the entire process appealing for the first 2 accounts and it said my ID (national ID btw) was unacceptable anf then it went ahead and said you still dont follow our guideline (no elaboration whatsoever on what it was that i did). i used these acc v rarely and then my main account which i use daily got suspended WHILE i was watching reels. i completed the entire appeal process, it said my national ID wasnt accepted again. so i even gave my passport ID and now its on waiting. i tried the incognito browser thing, didnt work. i talked to meta AI help centre to atleast tell me what i did wrong and it said i cant currently find a reason for your account to be suspended. it wont let me talk to a human representative. it gave me the link to a form and the form says page not found. any help????? please?????

update: got the mail, they permanently disabled my accounts and told me not to appeal again.

I was scrolling, looking for content from people I follow and I had to scroll past 7 ads, 3 reel suggestions and 4 follow suggestions.

Then, the first post Instagram chooses to show me is from three weeks ago.

I don’t understand a business model that refuses to show you posts from people you actually follow. It drives me insane.

I created an account for my business and lost the paper that I wrote my password on. I also didn’t link it to anything so I have seemingly no way to recover it, even if I did I wouldn’t want to get in besides to immediately delete it. I had a single post on the account at the time so I basically wrote it off and created a new account that I have been using for over a year but now it is causing confusion for customers searching for my account since the usernames are so similar. Is there a way for me to clear the first account if I don’t have the login information.

The screen turns green for some reason and it's happening ever since last year(don't ask why the text is in Romanian)

paid $70 for ads prepaid. app is randomly asking me for like $14, pausing my ad until i pay it, when i try to pay it the app says payment processed but theres no charge and my ad is still paused. have seen others with this issue online, the chat ai confirmed to me that its a bug too. any workaround so my ad can keep running or do i literally just have to wait until the app unfucks itself? i tried different payment methods, i tried going thru desktop, i tried meta ad manager

Can I SOMEHOW see all the message Requests anyone has sent me since I've changed my settings to 'message requests allowed not to everyone' ??

I have already tried changing the settings again to 'everyone' but it turned out I can't see the messages I've received in all these months!

So maybe a week or two ago my main account got deleted, I will admit I did post kinda provocative stuff on there and got a couple of alerts about it but I’ve been posting mostly memes and clothes lately. One day I log on and I’m suspended, I did the things required, didn’t get any of my data sent to me because by password was invalid even though I logged in on multiple devices. I let it go and then tried to switch to my spam - that was gone also, and even my brand account that had NOTHING on it is gone.

I had my friend make me a new account from her phone and it’s been smooth for a few days then I go to open it now and poof. So all that to say, is it time to just call it a day for good because I’m tired of coming up with creative usernames and customer service is horrrrible

I'm stuck in a loop. Every login asks for a 2FA code or backup code. I never activated 2FA, and I have no backup codes saved. I've reset my password (as my email works) and when I go back and try to login with my new password, Surprise surprise! on the very next screen its asking me for an authentication code or backup code.

I heard that the only other option is video verification. Tried 15+ times over 6-7 weeks — fails every single time.

Has anyone actually gotten out of this? Real solutions only, please — not paid "recovery" DMs. I'm not so sure how secure these paid services are. Or if they work.

If i hid people from a specific story, unhid them and added that story in my highlights, will they be able to view it or not?

So whenever my friend saves me a video I save it and then in my camera roll it becomes kinda pixelated and when he sends me it is high quality is there any fix to this
