I like the idea of using balloons to send crates and loot home, but I don't think bounty tokens should work the same way.
Being able to load the bounty into a balloon and just leave feels too easy. Carrying the bounty is one of the most important parts of Hunt. It creates tension because everyone knows you have it, and getting to extraction is part of the challenge.
It also changes how people approach the match. If another team gets to the boss first, you can normally still hunt them down before they extract. With the balloon, if you arrive a little too late, the bounty could already be loading or gone, making it feel pointless to fight over it.
I think balloons are great for supplies and loot, but the bounty should stay on the hunters until they extract.

Take this list with a grain of salt i guess. It is my opinion. No particular order.
This is my opinion and there will be different opinions, but most should be in the interest of all Hunters :)
What do you guys think?

Probably 50 some odd kills since last night... 3/10 headshots.

For me, it's the Rival. it fails me more often than not, but who can truly hate a double barrel shotgun?

and I love it!
Obviously WW1 was a little later and the Hunt trenches aren't large scale, but I am still really enjoying the vibe of Stronghold areas. That trampled muddy ground texture reminds me of playing BF1 and I miss it.
I haven't done the battlepass grind for the end charm in years and I haven't played Hunt since Murder Circus 1, but in the past 4 days I've been able to start the pass and get 5k xp towards the charm. Fully hooked again.
Once I unlock it I'm thinking about installing BF1 for some Operations.

So today I saw (first picture) that one of the stronghold had baloon inflation valve thingy was inside the boat (I almost certain it wasnt like that before)...
I the same match I found boat-like supply point near Alice Farm that certainly wasnt there before! (second picture)
Did you noticed something like that too? What do you the nk they hinting at? 🤔

By togglers i mean people who use cheats maybe once a week when they get angry , toggle wallhacks but kill in a legitimate way.
Is there even a way to catch them if blatant lobby wipers do their own thing for weeks or even create clans on steam groups?

To be fair, this screenshot is almost 2 years old, and the game looks way better and clearer now. But this happened to me in the middle of a shootout between two enemy teams. We were trying to jump them, and I don't know how I didn't shoot the funny-looking tree on the spot. Spoiler: we managed to die anyway

As a Crossbow main, here’s a piece of advice that’s helped me so much.
Find a secondary weapon, and get comfortable with it. I had a game where I basically exclusively used my secondary, (Pax Trueshot), due to most of the fights being out of my range, and in a very heavily covered area.
I treat my Crossbow like a special weapon. Very powerful under a specific circumstance. Same deal with Shotguns and snipers. You’ve got a powerhouse of a weapon, (most of the time), that can really only be used within a specific range/scenario.
I hope this helps someone, cause I’ve seen a lot of randoms in my games try to either shotgun someone too far away, or snipe someone literally point blank

Wasn't this supposed to be "only temporary"? The old system with random skins and random names was much better - there's precious little motivation to even try getting a Soul Survivor out and having the entire lobby composed of the same 4 faces is just silly. A bunch of clones.

It would have been so easy to make another tier to Jesse and bring back this awesome Calvary skin. There's a ton of military skins from the first game that are just missing. And yes they are all similar to a degree but it's the small differences between them that are cool.

Hey folks!
So lately I've been having a specific problem; pushing Compound teams entrenched inside the main bounty compound. Stronghold? No problem. Random encounter? No problem. But I've been dealing so poorly with this specific scenario that I decided I should ask everyone, whats your favorite method for dealing with a team who is content to hold angles and run down the clock?
FWIW, I'm asking for active strategies, not also just waiting them out. I'd rather try my luck and requeue if I die than turn these games into a 45 minute game of chicken.

I love the gun, I think the concept is awesome but it needs to be cheaper now if no bleeds. It's way too expensive. A mosin or krag is way more bang for your buck right now.

New player, sorry if it’s dumb question, but I was curious if they ever had a windy day weather pattern or something to that effect? It’s always very quiet and I’d love to see some tumble weeds blowing around, maybe some of the cans on a string being moved around from the wind. Great game so far though.

It was early afternoon around 16:00 CET ... man was that fun ...
Needless to say, they cleared that server like a hot knife goes through butter....

Was trying to find ways to not take pennyshot for immolators in my usual loadouts, and found that ammo boxes did a surprisingly high amount of blunt damage. However, was very disappointed to find that a single heavy attack to the head does NOT one shot immolators. Anyway here was the results.
It takes exactly 2 heavy ammo box swings + 1 rifle butt light attack (27 damage) to kill an Immolator, regardless of whether you hit the head or chest.
90 + 90 + 27 = 207 damageSo, in conclusion improvised tools and blunt weapons do have an AI headshot multiplier, but it either only works on some AI. Against Immolators, Crytek overrides locational damage to the head or chest, forcing them to always deal flat chest damage.
Additional discussion:
Now I'm deciding between having to spend 85% of my stamina to kill an immolator with 2 heavy attacks with ammo box + 1 light attack with 4 slot rifle which is still faster and more efficient than 4 heavy attacks with 4 slot rifle spending 100% .
I typically just throw spear to one shot immos if they're far enough away it wouldn't burn my bars, so it sucks to have to bring pennyshot just for when they get too close for comfort. Anyone else have any secret techs?

Hey guys ;)
Obv. I am new to the game, and I asked the A.I. but.. well.. you can imagine. ^^
I am looking for the meaning of the five Icons beneath the Bloodline Progress Bar.
Any help would be appreciated, thx! ;)

So i have something over 1700 hours most of that playing in random trios. My favorite gun is by far the winfield (currently playing winnie C along with romero hatchet, both regular ammo) and i was wondering like hey, all the big guys are playing solos right? So maybe if i start playing solo i could learn something and get better at the game? Im usually somewhere around the 4-5 stars MMR and generally use an active playstyle - i hate stalemates, theyre boring. Ive been to low 6 stars (got there with just my winfield, which im quite proud of ^^ ) but i suppose playing a non-meta loadout along with an active "i wanna have fun" playstyle isnt very six-star-compatible lol. So what do you guys think? Would playing solo possibly let me learn something and get better?

We tried to stay as quiet as possible, turned into the quicker in and out I’ve done
r/HuntShowdown • u/Griefingah • 11h ago
it gets outclassed by so many other 2 slot weapons, why should i play it when i can bring a mosin obrez which does literally everything way better?
uppercut should be 1 slot and cant shine in 2 slots, which is a huge shame since its so iconic.
