FLUFF I had a dream that Post Malone passed away and Crytek added him into the sky like Mufasa in The Lion King
I do not know if this is high enough effort but I felt like I needed to share it.

I was being a menace and playing while Tropical Storm Bertha was approaching and my internet was whack.
This scared the crap out of me.

I really have nothing against good players.
But when someone who’s been playing the game for 17 hours kills the whole team with a pistol in seconds and knows exactly where we are, it’s just annoying.
Unfortunately, it happens way too often, and reporting them doesn’t seem to do any good at all.
I’m slowly starting to lose interest in this game…

Bulletgrubber is too expensive for what it does. Most people (including me) take it because the animation is cool, and while saving a bullet is nice, it’s pretty easy to play around by reloading at the right time or just waiting until the gun is empty. On top of all of actually lowers cycle time And can be a downside with some weapons (Bertheir for example)
There are usually better ways to spend 4 trait points. Not to mention , On a fresh hunter, if you take Necro and Iron Eye, you can’t even afford Bulletgrubber.
I think it should be 3 points, maybe even 2.

I like the idea of using balloons to send crates and loot home, but I don't think bounty tokens should work the same way.
Being able to load the bounty into a balloon and just leave feels too easy. Carrying the bounty is one of the most important parts of Hunt. It creates tension because everyone knows you have it, and getting to extraction is part of the challenge.
It also changes how people approach the match. If another team gets to the boss first, you can normally still hunt them down before they extract. With the balloon, if you arrive a little too late, the bounty could already be loading or gone, making it feel pointless to fight over it.
I think balloons are great for supplies and loot, but the bounty should stay on the hunters until they extract.

Based on the findings of prolonged, heavy, rigorous science: teammates are significantly more effective when you yell "ye-haw pardner" at the beginning of a match

The Sealed Bounty Token is one of the weakest mechanics Crytek has ever introduced to Hunt. It requires very little investment, carries almost no risk, and often lets players bypass the core objective without meaningful interaction. Instead of creating tense encounters, it encourages low-engagement gameplay where players instantly grab a reward and leave. I've seen this happen countless times. It's a lazy mechanic that rarely creates memorable moments or meaningful decisions.
By contrast, the Balloon mechanic creates exactly the kind of gameplay Hunt thrives on. It gives players a visible, contested objective that naturally draws multiple teams together, creating unpredictable fights and meaningful risk-versus-reward decisions. Winning the reward feels earned because it requires positioning, timing, and surviving other players.
The Sealed Bounty Token should be removed and never return. Hunt is at its best when rewards create conflict, not avoid it. Future events should build on the Balloon philosophy by creating objectives that encourage competition, player interaction, and emergent stories instead of offering low-risk shortcuts that undermine the game's core gameplay loop.

Hi Hunters 👋,
I'd love to see a cross-platform blacklist feature (e.g. PS5/Xbox).
Maybe some of you have experienced something similar: You intentionally queue up with random teammates, only to end up with players whose behavior just doesn't match your playstyle. No communication, teamkilling, shooting PvE right after the round starts, disconnecting, and so on.
After a while, you inevitably run into these players again. If you don't remember their names, there's a good chance you'll end up in the same toxic environment all over again.
I'd love the option to create a personal blacklist so the game won't match me with those players again.
Sure, I could keep my own list and manually check names every time, but that's unnecessary and, from a UX perspective, a poor solution.
Has anyone else experienced this? What ideas or solutions would you suggest?
See you in the Bayou!
An old-ish Hunt veteran 🖤

Does anyone know what the pool of weapons are for the 3 categories?

i m legitimately asking, is there any reason to have the item equiped be seen on the right (for lack of a better word: in the search for stuff area) when buying / equipping tools / weapon ?
Because if you click on them you can't buy another one, you can unequip them from there, but you can also do it from your hunter slots, maybe you can change the skins ? (haven't thought of trying this)
From my point of view, i would like to either have them not appear there, or be usable (if i click it, i just buy another one)

I'm looking for advice on sniping in Hunt. I'm closing in on 200 hours, and thanks to Clash I've learned most of the compounds and have a pretty good grasp of the maps. Mechanically I feel comfortable, but I'm still struggling to find the right balance between playing aggressively and playing passively, positioning, how to go after the bounty, loadouts, and if I should go against duos or trios. Any tips or lessons would be appreciated.

and I love it!
Obviously WW1 was a little later and the Hunt trenches aren't large scale, but I am still really enjoying the vibe of Stronghold areas. That trampled muddy ground texture reminds me of playing BF1 and I miss it.
I haven't done the battlepass grind for the end charm in years and I haven't played Hunt since Murder Circus 1, but in the past 4 days I've been able to start the pass and get 5k xp towards the charm. Fully hooked again.
Once I unlock it I'm thinking about installing BF1 for some Operations.

I feel like this event, I haven’t been enjoying the games as much or at all.
It feels like every fight happens at the stronghold, and unless you go there you don’t see anyone. Every match feels like bounty clash.
It’s nice they added something new, but I think the fact that it’s in every match and no other variety puts me away from the game right now

Probably 50 some odd kills since last night... 3/10 headshots.

Basically what the title says. I watched RachatZ' stream for 4h, claimed the rewards on twitch and now opened the game to collect them, but I didn't get any popup. I have linked the accounts (Hunt is listed in settings -> connections as connected) and according to the Hunt page I have 5 claimed rewards but 0 consumed (which is another thing that I don't understand).
Can anyone explain to me how I can get my rewards?
Edit: I restarted the game, still hadn't gotten any rewards. Went to the shooting range as some suggested, upon returning still hadn't gotten anything. Exited the game. Opened it about an hour or so later and got the rewards. If anyone else has these issues, just wait and restart every now and then.

Hi i am asking,
because over the last couple weeks something seems to have changed with my matches. I already checked my systems etc, even called my ISP twice and according to them everything is fine and i am located in central germany playing on EU servers with 22ms ping as a 3 star so it is not like i am sitting on a lone island in the middle of the pacific.
It started with more occurances of rubberbanding and microstutters and sudden input delays which i first did not give much thought but then i even started getting disconnects more frequently. That is when i checked above things.
After that i noticed more russian players or atleast cyrillic player names or just empty squares. Ok maybe player count is low right now whatever. But independed from time whether morning, afternoon, evening, work day or weekend this kept happening so i started to check because the amount of lets call it suspicious behaviour also started to go up.
Then i realized that i am consistently getting paired with russian and chinese players and not like usual once a solo or team every couple of matches or when playing at low pop times but every match up to the point where almost the whole server consisted of players from russia and china according to their steam profiles.
Now the rubberbanding, stuttering and obvious ping related problems when engaging other players got worse as well as did the disconnects and i did stumble upon atleast a lot more smurf accounts or quite possibly cheaters, i mean stuff like a Solo one star against trios clearing 3 star lobby with a Scottfield and Baseball bat levels or hitting just headshots with a Nagant Revolver at 100m+ as a two star. Maybe they got lucky and it was the match of their life but with comparable stuff now happening every second or third match and not once in a blue while this seems kinda ...odd paired with the other problems in every single match.
So i checked my system again and called my ISP which again insisted on everything being fine.
I kept playing with aforementioned stuff and the problems seemed worse when playing solo, in teams with friends, there was also noticeable increase in stutter, non-eu players etc but not as strong.
It is now to a point where it becomes almost unplayable due to the technical problems, the really frustrating high ping players and that i can expect now to run into players which are obvious smurfs or quite possibly cheating on a regular basis. It is just completely killing the enjoyment of the game.
So i am wondering. Does someone has similar stuff happening to them? Did CryTek change something? Am i just on a streak of very bad luck? I don't know. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
