I know there's tons of great horror/spooky movies to watch as this season kicks off but I'm looking for recommendations for any movies that are either *set on Halloween* or *heavily involve Halloween in their theme*. I.e. fun size, trick โr treat, tales of Halloween, Halloweentown, nightmare before Christmas, Halloween, etc.

It was pretty fun to do. But as a warning to anyone who tries, you have to twist the wires together for the lights in just the right way otherwise they don't work. That part was annoying but I would recommend.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to light our outside jack o lanterns this year? Last year we used some little battery powered timed candles from Amazon that were the most popular but they were absolute garbage. They were dim and only lasted half the month.
I was thinking of using solar powered string lights and connect them through the Pumpkins. I'm not sure how that will look though. Any suggestions?

So this spring when everyone was at the garden center picking out plants ๐ชด I picked up a couple of discounted pumpkin plants nothing fancy just a couple of jack-o-lantern ๐. We planted them out front and through trials and tribulations lawn mowers and bunny ๐ฐ thieves no pumpkins had yet to appear. Tonight while taking out the garbage ๐ I spotted a little round yellow but sticking out of the vines. I rushed over to inspect and behold my bountiful harvest ๐ ๐คฃ ๐ someone must have swapped the plastic name plates at the garden center.

It ainโt much, but itโs honest work! ๐ฎโ๐จ Iโm in love with Michaelโs current vintage/carnival look, and the skellyball game was no exception, but for $60?!!! I can do it myself ๐ my version of skellyball is made of 1 paper/foam poster board, 4 cut up red solo cups, a cut up yogurt container, hot glue, some very small bolts (to make it foldable for storage!!) and some safety eyes (from my crochet kit) that work as hinges for the ramp to make that foldable & hinging as well, I painted a ping pong ball black to fit the theme, & painted everything else to my liking with acrylic paint! I had all of this at home, so it cost me a grand total of $0 to make this! What do you guys think??? Happy Haunting!!! ๐๐ป๐ค

I made him from a 7 foot skeleton and the original Home Depot Horse skeleton. (The horse skull went to make a Mari Lywd not shown. )
EDIT: I will post another monster in a few days. Watch the sub!

I had some extra pieces of wood lying around, so I turned them into little pins! They're in acrylic paint and Micron Pens!

I have no idea how old it is. Itโs been in my house for a very long time. As you can see itโs well loved and been used a lot. Iโve been searching for it for a long time to buy a non chipped one for use but all iโve found is the candy bowl of the same design.

I recently moved so I get to decorate a new house for Halloween this year! I am thinking of decorating each room by a different theme: ghosts, witches or magic/enchanted/Harry Potter, spiders, pumpkins. So for example, our bedroom could be pumpkins, the living room could be spiders, something like that.
Alternatively I am wondering if anyone here has ever leaned into a certain theme for the whole year, like witches one year, pirates the next year. But I don't know how realistic that is.
I would love to hear your experiences and ideas with this (photos welcomed!).

I saw these witches in a picture in Flea Market magazine. I think theyโre adorable! What are they called? Who makes them? Thank you!

One of my most prized possessions. lol Something about having these guys on display makes me happy and reminds me of a better, simpler time...
