I'm currently researching hair transplant clinics and finding it difficult to know what really separates a good clinic from a bad one.

There are so many options online, and it's hard to judge based only on websites and advertisements. I'm trying to understand what factors are actually important, such as patient results, reviews, experience, consultation process, and the overall quality of care.

For those who have already had a hair transplant, what were the biggest things you looked for before making your choice?

I had a hair transplant in May of 2025.

This is a 1 year update. (Most of these pics were taken early June)

The biggest difference I have noticed recently is that the transplanted hairs look much more natural. The transplanted hairs have lost much of their curl. I definitely had some progress at month 6, but the hair was very curly. The hair looks much more natural now.

Currently taking oral minoxidil and dutasteride.

I mainly care about:

doctor involvement during surgery

donor area management

long-term results (12–18 months)

I know every clinic has good marketing, but I'm more interested in real patient experiences.
