DAY 11, how does it look ? 2000 grafts, worried about density ?

It's been 3 months since I got my first HT. But still look like this. How long will it take until final result?

I had my hair transplant in Pakistan with Dr. Habeeb. 

For medication, I’m currently taking oral minoxidil and using a topical solution from HIMS minoxidil and 0.3% finasteride. I also microneedle once a week using a 0.5 mm derma roller.

These photos show my hair before the transplant, immediately after the procedure, and at months 4, 5, and 6.

As you can see, there seems to be very little progress—if any—between months 4 and 6. However, when I run my fingers over my scalp, I can feel small hairs coming through. When I look closely at the middle of the transplanted area, I can also see many tiny hairs.

My concern is that some of these tiny hairs may have been there since the beginning. I can see similar short hairs along my hairline that have remained the same length—they haven’t grown or shed and appear to be just sitting there since the hair transplant

Do these tiny hairs suggest that more growth is beginning, or could they be hairs that never properly grew after the transplant? I was told by the doctor that these would shed around month 3 or 4, but now I am at month 6. They didn't shed. They didn't grow.

I would appreciate your honest opinions on my progress so far.

I’m planning to keep the hairline natural and not lower it much. My main concern is adding density to the front V area, which is why I’m considering a transplant. I actually don’t mind the sides much.
Based on the pictures, should I add grafts anywhere besides the front and sides? I’m also considering the area between the front and crown, but could transplanting there cause shock loss or damage the existing hair during recovery?

Side note; my HT date is coming up in August. 2000 ish grafts they said. Maybe 200 etc more. I’m looking to make it look more dense. There was another famous HT surgeon that suggested 3400 grafts. It kinda threw me off so let me know what you think.

Edit: I have been using minoxidil on and off in the last 5 years. But really not consistently, maybe like half of the year and only once a day.. yeah naughty..

Hi everyone, I’m planning to have a hair transplant in late October and would appreciate honest opinions based on my photos.

My main goals are to get a natural-looking and age-appropriate hairline;

fuller frontotemporal corners/temples;

enough density to wear my hair longer and brushed back;

no low, perfectly straight or overly aggressive hairline;

careful donor management, as I often wear the back and sides very short.

I have been using finasteride and minoxidil for about one year.

How many grafts do you think I realistically need?

I have been considering approximately 2,500–2,700 grafts, mainly for the hairline, temples and frontal third, but I do not want to waste grafts or overharvest my donor area...

My maximum budget is £3,800–£4,000 in total, including flights from London, accommodation and transfers.

I am considering Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Albania, Hungary and other affordable European destinations. Some of the surgeons or clinics I have looked at include Dr Erkan Demirsoy, Dr Ahmed Altan, FUECAPILAR and Seneca, but I am open to other recommendations.

Based on my photos:

How many grafts would you estimate?

Would 2,500–2,700 grafts be reasonable or excessive?

Which surgeon or clinic would you recommend within my total budget?

Who produces the most natural hairlines and temple work?

Which clinics have the best donor management?

Are there any surgeons or clinics you think I should avoid?

I understand photographs cannot replace an in-person examination or trichoscopy. I am mainly trying to create a reliable shortlist before contacting clinics and paying any deposit.

Just wondering if by these photos of the back of my head I’d be a good candidate for a second transplant. I am taking finasteride, for 2 years almost. My last transplant they took around 2000 from the back and 2000 from the sides.

First month of my hair transplant with dr cinik

The itchiness is nearly unbearable. Happy to have permission for “cup showering” my scalp as the oils have been cause for so much irritation I think. Scabs are flaking off already but I’m trying to keep them moistly and will start some light rubbing massaging this weekend! Supplements start up again The house is entirely clean. This weekend and I’m allowed hat.
How’s it look to you folks? When did y’all start wearing normal shirts haha

Booked to have a transplant next month in Seoul at Motion Clinic with Dr Bahk… Was recommended 1800 grafts and this was the provisional hairline drawn by a technician.

Curious as to everyone’s opinions… Have got quite nervous wondering is I really need it. The surgery seems good though and Dr bahk has a good track record from what I’ve seen.

What’s your thoughts on the hairline design and graft number?

I’m 5 months into mine and the crown actually looks worse than before I had it. I don’t even really see any signs for growth.

Whereas the front has filled out really well.
Clinics always say the crown takes longer - is that really true?

Looking for real experiences from you guys 🙏

What do you guys suggest a person who has recently undergone hair transplant should take ?

What combinations do you think works best keeping in mind the side effects.
I am using Topical Dutasteride and Minoxidil

The procedure is on 8/4 and we are planning on going to the waterpark on 8/28. I dont plan on really going under water much, and definitely wont be doing any slides. Mainly going to let the kids play. With that said, am I good to go by then? Also do I still need to wear a hat or can I just spray sun screen on my recipient area and be good?

I’m quite happy at this stage - shedding has stopped

I(35/M) had a hair transplant for my frontal hairline about a year ago. At that time, I still had good hair in my mid-scalp and crown.

Now, the transplanted hair is doing well, but I've lost a lot of my native hair in the middle and crown, making those areas look much thinner.

Would you recommend getting a second transplant, or should I first consult a doctor and start oral finasteride and/or oral minoxidil to stabilize the hair loss?

Is it done often ? Having two surgeries instead of one is unfortunately out of my budget.

The 3700-4200 graft estimate is for the first surgery only. During the second surgery, they expect to extract approximately 50% of that number.

In total, they estimate that around 6,000 grafts will be sufficient.

What do yall think ? Can it possibly be done in 1 surgery instead ?
